No parking was available

The property is protected by gates that only let in guests with a keycard. We were able to walk to a nearby place to eat and felt safe despite it being after the sun went down. The staff woman who checked me in was very nice and efficient.

Check-in was easy and the staff were very helpful. Only problem was the lack of parking. If you can’t find street parking, you’ll have to just buy to park in the hotel lot but it might be worth if you stay out late at night and come back to no street parking.

Old hotel that has been updated somewhat. Pictures on website are a little misleading. Hotel was clean nice bed. Small pillows. Barely any parking. Tv was smart tv which you had to use your own accounts to watch. 2 towels and 1 wash cloth for 2 people. Had to ask 3 times for extra towels. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Nice water pressure. Overall a nice secure gated hotel.

This property was above our expectations. It was clean and property managers were very accommodating. Wish there was an elevator because dragging bags upstairs was a pain. The parking lot was difficult to maneuver-even for Uber drivers. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend!

Need to ask for a hairdryer at the front desk. Very nice and helpful staff. No elevator, but only one flight of stairs.

Location was close to the port. Didn't like the smell of the room. Smelt like weed. No ice machine. But for one night it was just ok.

I appreciated the 24hr security.

Photos of the motel were misleading. The rooms appear to have been recently remodeled and was, overall, in good condition. The area does not appear to be very safe place to be. There was only one person at the checkin desk and she appeared to he overwhelmed. She did offer to show us to our room, but we declinded due to other guests waiting to check in. Parking was extremely limited. We took an Uber, which appeared to be the way other guests arrived as well. No coffee maker in the room, which was disappointing. I anticipated one since there is a mini fridge and microwave. Hair dryer has to he obtained from the front desk. This was a big inconvenience since the front desk closes at night and doesn't open until 9am. This put us behind schedule since it was needed to get ready. In the reception area there are several security screens; however there is no one to monitor them, especially at night. The bathroom has a window which was unblocked and it was not possible to lock it. The beds were terrible! Worst night's sleep in quite a while. TV channel selections were fine. King size bed with only two pillows. We had to request more. The photos make it appear as if the restaurant, Blue Collar, is on property. It looks like it might have been at some point, but it is across 4 lanes of traffic. The food and service at the restaurant was great!!

This is an old motel from the 1950s or 60s. As such, it should be called a motel, not a hotel. The room is very sparsely furnished, only two pillows for the bed, no closet, only two very used towels in the bathroom, no hand towels or washcloths. The floor is linoleum and was absolutely filthy. We walked from bed to bathroom and the bottoms of our feet were black. Would not recommend this place.

Front desk is nice. Door to room stuck and was hard to open and close. The room was sparse. The mini fridge had someone’s left over subway sandwhich in it. The bathroom shower may have been clean but it looked unclean so we did not use it. Beds were uncomfortable. My back still hurts almost a week after visit.

There was cockroaches in our room. They peaked in the door before entering to show us the room which through us off right away. We refused to stay there and still have not received a refund.

Did not feel safe in this neighborhood. Door did not fully shut. Hairs all over bed and floor. Trash was still full upon arrival.

The photos shown on the reservation is not this hotel. There are no amenities. It was very noisie in our room. You could here people talking across the courtyard let alone our neighbors.

We only stayed one night prior to a cruise. It was perfectly fine for us. The staff was friendly at check in and the room had a mini fridge and microwave. It was within walking distance of places to eat, and we felt safe in the area.

Clean and recently renovated hotel provides best customer service! Our room was very comfortable and spacios, equipped with smart TV, fridge and microwave and the bathroom was brand new and very well-designed with a tub and rain shower.

Bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Really odd since it appears renovated recently. It was incredibly noisy. Street noise and neighbors. The pictures online were very misleading.

The pictures do not depict the rooms at all. We still had a pleasant stay but the room was very basic and didn't have very much in terms of cabinets or drawers. The bathroom had no shelving and the shower head was like 5ft tall so my 6ft fiance didn't have a good shower. Luckily we were only there for one night as we had a cruise the next day but the pics on this website didn't show at all what the actual room was like.

The Hotel is very noisy due to very thin walls and most rooms all facing towards a common patio. Room cleaning every other day. My fellow neighbors during my stay were not the kind of people you felt easy about. Would not recommend and wont go back

Very quiet, seems recently renovated and the bathrooms are pretty, no complaints about the property, i just wasnt a fan of the sliding bathroom doors, they provide a little less privacy for using the restroom or taking a shower as they dont lock and theres a small gap between the door and wall however, we will definitely he back next time we're on town. Cars were kept safe, plenty of food in walking distsnce, and a short drive from north beach. Thanks for everything!

Went to bed when we had to get up. They were on bender of sorts. Not safe for any confrontation. No staff on location after 9pm. Something to consider.

I wanted to get a room in Miami so I wouldn\'t have too far to drive to get the port for a cruise the next day. When I got there (around 9:15pm) there was no one available to check me in. Doors locked. Lights out. I tried calling the number on the door; it just rang and rang and no answered. I called the number on the reservation and got voicemail and no one returned the message I left. Ever. Not that evening and not any time after that. I tried doing the online check-in and "chat" they offered and NONE of it is helpful because THEY ARE GONE and not even manning any communications. So I had to find another place to stay at almost 10pm. When I contacted them to request a refund, they refused "due to their non-refundable policy". "Non-refundable" should absolutely apply if I wanted to cancel or if I was a no-show, but NOT IF THE HOTEL IS CLOSED. I don\'t know what their "policy" is, but the website shows, "Check-in end time: 10:00 PM". While I didn\'t get to see an actual room, I can say the parking IS TERRIBLE. Though they "offer an onsite restaurant", it probably closes early because if they\'re gone by 9pm the restaurant would have to shut down well before then. I would never even CONSIDER staying here and definitely would not recommend it to anyone. I hope the guests never need anything after 9pm or it doesn\'t catch on fire because they\'ll never know until the next day.

Fine stay for a 2 star hotel, but the front desk couldnt find my reservation. It took like 20 minutes to check in.

This property is a great place if you are not there very long and is clean. Our room with two adults and two minors. The room we received is not what was advertised. If you had an issue, you had to wait for someone to arrive at 9:00 am, which meant zero access to any employee when we had problems with our room cards. The room had two beds, one chair, one trash can, and no phone to call the desk for more towels. You can also hear everything that surrounds your room, including neighbors tv and conversations. Language barriers for English customer.

Unable to communicate for the two days preceding the stay Called at least 10 times voice mail full. Emailed with no response. Prepaid 2 premium rooms and upon arrival only one room available. They sent our friends to another property about 10 minutes away which looked like a rent by the hour hotel. All this at about midnight

I got an email asking me to check in online to make the actual check in quicker and smoother. I provided my credit card for the deposit and signed the paperwork. It stated that check in was at 1pm and you can check in early for $15 per hour before hand. We arrived at 11am and were told that check in was actually at 3pm and we couldn't check in early but they would hold our bags. I provided by ID to the gentleman and he said we were all set to come back at 3 and get our bags and keys to the room. We arrived at 3 and another lady was there. She couldn't find my reservation. The the same gentleman came in and found it in 2 seconds. Not sure what she was looking at. He gave us 1 key and our bags and off we went t our room. The room is nice and the bed was large and super comfortable. While I was in the restroom the same lady came up to our room and said we didn't check in. I had to go back down the office and sign paper again. What was the point of the online check in? When checking out in the morning we asked if they could store our luggage and they said yes but asked when we would be back. We have some excursions planned for the day and were planning on being back by 3. Then they asked if we could come earlier and we said we would try but wasn't sure if we could. Once we went back to pick up our luggage (past 3pm) there was another lady and she was super nice about picking it up late.

The hotel looked nothing like the pictures, unsafe area will never book a again thru Expedia if this is the type of properties you promote.

We only stayed one night as we were laying over. Was conveniently located, the staff was friendly, check in was easy. Rooms are modern.

Great for a cheap location prior to a cruise departure from Miami port.

The Hotel was next to a busy road, so it was noisy. The room was clean. We left a jacket behind. We called the hotel and they held the jacket until we returned in a week. The hotel was near some restaurants and coffee shops. It was about a 20 minute drive to the cruise port of Miami.

The property is average it’s just not located in the best of neighborhoods

The location is excellent, making it easy to commute conveniently via public transport to the south and north. The staff is kind and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the walls are thin, which means that sounds like coughing can be heard from adjacent rooms, so that might be something to consider for light sleepers. The amenities are simple, but they are well-maintained and warm. Overall, it’s a good option for the price, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

We only stayed one night prior to a cruise. It was perfectly fine for us. The staff was friendly at check in and the room had a mini fridge and microwave. It was within walking distance of places to eat, and we felt safe in the area.

Great location and the weather was great. They have a nice little sitting area outside where you can eat or have coffee. There is an awesome bagel shop within walking distance called El Bagel. We couldn't figure out the TV so a member of staff came up to get it working for us. Also, had a hair dryer that I could use because I didn't bring one. Everyone in Miami was very friendly and helpful.

There was nowhere to eat on the premises. There is a restaurant there, but it is not opened for breakfast. Other than that, it was nice for enough for what you pay. The staff are very friendly and helpful to tell us where to go to eat close to the hotel.

The property was extremely clean. There were quite a few cruisers staying here. The front desk was superb and they held our luggage until the room was available. There were several nice restaurants close to the hotel. The taxi stated to not go back away from the main block as the area could be dicey. We had no problems.

Very nice people. Welcoming and engaging at check in. Room is simple. Even spartan. But spotless clean, stylish, spacious, in as new condition and everything works. The bed is very comfortable. Excellent television. It is set up for live tv and streaming as well. The restaurant is very comfortable. Nice people and excellent food.

Very clean hotel. Perfect for the night. No pool. The restaurant next door is exceptional!
