Everything is brand new and far better than I expected. All of the things you would hope for (micro/fridge/coffee maker/etc.) The only thing missing I would have liked would have been an ice machine on the property.

Only the best feedback for this place. It actually looks much better in real life than in the photos. Everything was very new and clean. The shower was excellent, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The laundry facilities worked perfectly and were free to use. Each cabin has its own grill. The only downside is that there are only two nearby stores, and neither of them sells proper food for grilling—so it’s best to bring that with you beforehand. There’s a great restaurant just across the street with delicious food, perfect if you don’t feel like cooking yourself.

The Cabin was great, well decorated and clean. The amenities like the free laundry was a welcomed change. . Most of all, the staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Dont hesitate, book your stay.

We were traveling through and booked same day. They immediately sent over a link to a website with a digital key for the cabin after we booked. When we arrived that evening we didn’t even have to go to the front desk for check in we used the online key to unlock the cabin. Plenty of space to park next to the cabins. Beautiful, updated, and very cozy. Kitchen and bathroom amenities were wonderful. Great find.

Nice, new cabin. Great location, very convenient. Limited amenities on site, but good restaurant across street. I thought that it was expensive for what it offered but limited good accommodations in town (probably nicest hotel/motel in town).

Muddy Creek Mining Company is an oasis in a Hanksville, a small town with no traffic lights and little else. The cabins are well-appointed with a toaster, microwave, mini refrigerator, hot pot, and lots more. Since we are on a long road trip, we particularly enjoyed the opportunity to use one of the free, onsite washers and dryers. They even provided detergent pods for free! A small grocery store/pizza shop, which has only basics, is nearby and a restaurant is across the street, if needed. While staying 2 nights, we drove to Goblin Valley State Park and enjoyed great hiking. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the decent-sized cabin, which is relatively new and well-maintained.

Check in was very difficult. We had no cell service for much of the time preceding our stay and did not get a text message concerning the numbers and entry codes of our three cabins. There is no office and the person we had to call was very close to rude in our phone call. There was no ice machine available, but we met some other occupants at the fire and they were able to give us some ice. On the other side, we had ice but no hot water for a shower in at least two of our three cabins. There is a good restaurant across the street which was very good to see in a remote town such as Hanksville. One of the cabins had a chemical smell which resulted in having a window open all night. One person in our party cut her leg on an exposed sharp edge of the bed frame. Muddy Creek was a good option for this area, despite some of the problems we encountered.

The communication process was absolutely amazing. We were here during off season and everything was remote, but instructions were detailed and precise. The cabin was extremely clean and beautiful. They even accommodated us with a last-minute additional cabin due to additional family in town and additional housing needed.

Place served us well for a night passing through southeast Utah. I can’t imagine people would use this place for a week, Hanksville doesn’t have much and most activities are 30-60 minutes away, but a night on your way through it’s perfect. Slight odor outside the properly, probably cow-field, but it did not permeate our room at all. Water had a funny note about sulphur smell but we appreciated the heads up and it wasn’t an issue. Overall the remoteness of the stay you expect a couple quirks and it was 5 star accommodation for the location. Would stay again!

Spent 2 nights. Property was great. Clean. Only complaint which isn’t really bad is we wish the water heater was a little larger. Didn’t realize how small they are so my wife was in the middle of washing her hair when she ran out and had to finish in cold water. After figuring that out we adapted and all was good. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Cabin was clean, communication was excellent. Quality amenities. The only issue is that, at least in cabin 7, it is time to replace both mattresses. The sides are worn out and offer no support making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. It feels as if you will roll out of bed if you get too close to the edge.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We travel a lot and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly…this was definitely a good! Cabin was clean, cozy, and quiet. Everything looked just like the pics online.

Wow. This place is a gem! These cabins are so quaint and cozy! We absolutely loved the kitchenette area. Modern touches and simplistic rustic decor. The place was extremely clean and the bed… wow! The most comfortable bed we slept in during our trip. Will definitely be staying here again! Bravo!

Amazing! The property had everything you needed for a very, very comfortable stay! The space was just right for the two of us. Cabin is spacious like a hotel room with a nice kitchenette fully stocked. We plan on staying here again when we pass through Hanksville.

This place was even nicer than the pictures, which rarely happens! The inside was really nice with the essentials provided such as a sink and plates! Everything looks new and in great condition. The only hiccup was the lack of communication. They told me they would send me the information the day of check in, but that's really difficult considering there is very little phone service in the area!

It was a wonderful place for stay. Easy to check-in and out. The castle was simple, clean, a small kitchen has all what you need. The owner was warmly kind and she could help to resolve all the requests.

The interior amenities of these new cabins were top shelf. Highly recommend this overnight option in Hanksville. Our stay was highlighted by the amazing property manager husband & wife team, Dan and Cher are engaging, helpful and were the perfect addition to an amazing 2 night stay in Hanksville.

This cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed- a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, refrigerator, microwave. All the necessities. Very easy check in. The only thing I will say, which has nothing to do with the property itself- but there wasn’t anywhere to eat. We stayed there on a Saturday night and almost all of the restaurants in the area were closed. So just if you are coming during the off season, make sure you bring something for dinner. It looks like they have grills available so next time we will just bring something to make.

Well located property with a ton of wilderness nearby to explore. If you want to stay in a quiet location away from crowds in Torrey, this is your location. Excellent sized cabins, super clean, and well built. Friendly service, highly recommended!

Nice, new cabin. Great location, very convenient. Limited amenities on site, but good restaurant across street. I thought that it was expensive for what it offered but limited good accommodations in town (probably nicest hotel/motel in town).

We went in late December, which is the off-season to the extreme. If traveling outside of the busier seasons, I suggest bringing some food, as our only options for breakfast and dinner was the gas station down the street. The cabin was cozy, warm, and a great place to stay. I’m sure it is also fun during busier times, and looked like there was a stage for live music. I highly recommend this place, just be aware of the things available in the surrounding area depending on time of year you go! If you want quiet winter solitude this is IT!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy. The restaurant across the street had great dinner and breakfast. I will stay here again the next time I come through Hanksville.

Very nice to have a kitchen to prepare food. Good cable TV options, free washer and drier. Was a great option for us after camping and traveling between national parks.

Only the best feedback for this place. It actually looks much better in real life than in the photos. Everything was very new and clean. The shower was excellent, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The laundry facilities worked perfectly and were free to use. Each cabin has its own grill. The only downside is that there are only two nearby stores, and neither of them sells proper food for grilling—so it’s best to bring that with you beforehand. There’s a great restaurant just across the street with delicious food, perfect if you don’t feel like cooking yourself.
Only the best feedback for this place. It actually looks much better in real life than in the photos. Everything was very new and clean. The shower was excellent, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The laundry facilities worked perfectly and were free to use. Each cabin has its own grill. The only downside is that there are only two nearby stores, and neither of them sells proper food for grilling—so it’s best to bring that with you beforehand. There’s a great restaurant just across the street with delicious food, perfect if you don’t feel like cooking yourself.

A nice surprise in the middle of nowhere Utah. Cabin was new, clean, and well furnished. Would have liked to stay longer. A new company, but communications were great and helpful. If they want to improve further I’d suggest a small table with outlet/usb between the beds. Otherwise can’t think of a thing to change. A sweet little cabin. Dinner across the street was very good also. Beer and wine available.

Stay here!!!! What a perfect place to accommodate all 8 of the weary travelers we were. Perfectly close to Goblin Valley State Park and other various attractions. The room was beautifully put together and clean. I was worried about the heat but with a/c and ceiling fans, we even got a bit cold in the night. They even had a built in ice machine!! Stay here!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay in and a great location between Capitol Reef and Goblin Valley. The cabins are wonderful! They have all the amenities for your base camp to explore the area. The bed was so comfortable, the bath was a good size and the little kitchen was wonderful. I do wish the refrigerator had a freezer compartment but the is not a dealbreaker for me. I absolutely recommend.

We loved this place and would definitely come back when we return to the area. The surrounding area has restaurants, gas, etc. Perfect location for stargazing, great communication, and the facilities are immaculate.

Quarto limpo, espaçoso e muito confortável. A única coisa que me incomodou um pouco foram os pernilongos. Sou um pouco alérgica e gostaria de saber antes que tinham tantos mosquitos , assim poderia levar algum tipo de repelente. Mas não tenho nenhuma queixa em relação à propriedade, super bem explicado, e acesso muito fácil .

The cabin is very clean and comfy. The air conditioning worked well and the beds were comfortable and cozy. There is a free laundromat on site and is an easy drive to Goblin Valley State Park.
