This property is fine if you need an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights. Amenities are limited and no onsite restaurants or bar but some local options just down the street are good. I traveled with cat so they accept pets for small additional fee. Front staff was nice but rooms do not have a view as hotel is located near tire store Geez.

Staff were friendly, check in was efficient. They have cameras on the parking lot, safe for overnight parking. Clean, simple, don't expect more than basic needs. Walls and floors are thin, can hear everything all around. Breakfast was minimal. Great location and price considering other hotels around.

I asked if they had a pool and they told me yes what they didn’t tell me is that it’s currently filled with furniture beds and other office supplies thank goodness for the Minnesota State fair seeing I traveled with my family for 10+ hours coming from Atlanta

Staff were helpful and friendly during check-in and check-out. Our room was clean and comfortable. We didn't love the pillows, but we're picky, so we probably should have brought our own. We would stay here again.

Old style bedding, dirty shower n tub. I stayed by myself (female) and there were male body hairs on the tub. Pee stain on the toilet. I didnt see any maid service at all my Thursday thru Sunday stay so used soap and washcosth and sleaned myself. Glad i brought a pillowcase from home.

The room was disgusting. There were cigarette butts, toenail clippings, and fake fingernails on the floor, blood or fecal stains on the walls and lamps, and roaches in the tub. Incredibly disgusted.

I checked into my room and found crust on my sheets, hair, pubic hair on pillows. They gave me another room same problem hair all over sheets. After 1 hour of tying to move rooms in the hot lobby and hallways I was ready to stay somewhere else. Save your time and money go somehwere else!

The check in and staff were very nice! However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was really poor. The toilet had urine on it and hair trapped in the urine. There was mold on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. The continential breakfast was basically nonexistent and our room cards stopped working at 9:30 am, but check out is 11:00 am. I suppose this hotel could be good for a last ditch I need a room badly, but I wouldn’t recommend it overall.

Our room was not very clean. There were empty drink bottles under the chair in the room and the floors were just filthy. Beds were ok. Staff was mostly friendly when we interacted with them. When I informer the front desk person upon check out that the room was dirty he just looked at me and then stated he would pass it on to the manager and housekeepers. I don't really think anything will come from me letting them know. Overall not the worst experience but the lack of cleaning is concerning because I questioned if the ending was changed out before we got in the room.

While the price was ok and the room wasn't bad at all and quite comfortable. My computer couldn't get any internet at all. Bad. The breakfast was a joke. Bad orange juice and basically nothing much. Will take a step up next time to a different motel.

I stayed for a few nights because it was close to the ice rink and relatively inexpensive, but I won’t come back with family. It’s ok for a night, but the bed was hard and the pillows were tiny. The first floor opens up the windows to a tire shop with people all day so you have to keep the blinds closed if you’re in the room. They also took break outside and the smell would come into my room. The window was wide open when I arrived in the middle of the night and the deadbolt on the door did not lock. It’s definitely older, but the shower felt good. I did also trip on the ripped carpet at the room entrance a few times.

Decent hotel, the room looked to be recently updated. Very friendly staff and easy check in and out. About the only con was the non-existent soundproofing of the rooms, I could easily hear people in the hall and other rooms. Overall it was perfect for what I needed it for, just a quick overnight in the cities area.

N elevator. They turn their fridge off so you have to turn it back on. First room fridge didn’t work. 2nd room barely worked. They didn’t have coins left for the washing machine cause the manager went on vacation. I asked to do a late checkout and that I would pay. Just for 2 extra hours so I can sleep more for my healthcare work…they give me 30 min extra lol. Cane at the door at 11:25 to kick me out. And the “super” breakfast was bread for toast and juice with cereal. not worth it

I booked a king size bed room. The room was spacious, the color designs were nice. The bed was comfortable, thought the covers and bed spread need a bit of update. Nothing bad, they just feel a bit outdated. The bathroom was ok. Nice big shower stall, toilet and floor were clean. The sink area was wide and comfortable. They did provide toiletries, though it was the bare minimum for a couple of adults, and it was just soap and shampoo. I didn't use any of the amenities like laundry or breakfast, but i did see them available. I never found where the ice machine was (or if there was one), so i ended up buying a small bag of ice for our cooler. There was a fridge in the room, but they keep the fridge off until you turn it on yourself, which means it will take a while for things to come down to temp. The parking lot was ample, easy to maneuver. The front staff was friendly and efficient. I still have to co tact them because i dropped a ring in my room and forgot about it, but i dont forsee them to be difficult to talk to.

Easy to get to, comfortable beds, smooth check-in. I missed having a coffeemaker in the room, had to go downstairs for my first cup. Couple areas not the cleanest in the hallways and stairwell but the room was super clean and we slept great for our one-night stay.

Hair on supposedly clean, made up sheets. Like, all under the blankets and sheets. It was so gross. Then i went to ask for another set and they told me maintenance left for the day so they couldnt get any more sheets.... REALLY? We went and bought sheets because they were that gross. No internet if you arent in the first few rooms and AC does not work, 60 or 80, no in between. We will NEVER come back here again.

Updated hotel with ok breakfast options. The only complaint is that the walls were a little thin and the trim around the door wasn't the best so light and sound came in. Other than that it was great.

The stay was nice , but I had other business the last 2days of my booking. Had bought the insurance for the trip. Now nothing is being done about a refund for the 3nights I booked and did not stay there. Called the front desk and they hung up on me? I think it’s a scam.

The employees and management were extremely understanding of my situation, and went above and beyond to help me out. I definitely walked in a little worse for wear, driving 10 hours straight after pulling a full shift on a rig in ND. They even let me dry my laundry after having put it in just a tad too late at night (drying took just an extra 10 minutes) and apologizing profusely, these gentlemen told me there was no need for such apologies and it was set in place to stop others from running it all night. 10/10 would recommend and will absolutely be staying here again in the future as my girlfriend lives in the area. Thank you again guys!

Check in was kind of slow, no one at the front desk when we arrived, had to ask for directions to our room, and the worker was very difficult to understand due to poor English and heavy accent. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Hotel looked like it recently was remodeled. We had dogs along (which I had called and asked for a pet friendly room the week before our reservation & had been told ‘no problem’), nothing to sign regarding having dogs in the room, was never told about a $25/dog charge. Then while we were gone (dogs were in their kennels in the room), we received multiple calls in a row but no voicemail. I finally answered the call to be asked if we had dogs in the room and then told they are not allowed to be in the room alone. Supposedly they were barking continuously, which we have never had a complaint about before and they travel with us in hotels often. We left our in the middle of our event to come back to the hotel, dogs were not barking when we arrived. Breakfast was quite minimal and the breakfast area was not very clean at all, ended up going out for breakfast instead. Oh and the outside garbages were overflowing and there was no seating outside anywhere.

When I saw the security camera monitors I felt like there was management concern for customer safety. The are of town was a pretty good area anyway, but this added to my appreciation. Desk clerk was helpful. No elevator, but only two floors so not a big deal. The continental breakfast was minimal, but I am not a big breakfast person anyway. All in all a positive experience for a reasonable price.

It was a great stay. The hotel is few minutes from the National Sports Centre which was great for the USA cup. The staff was friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean and everything went very well. Probably some improvements like adding some eggs to breakfast

I was here for a hockey try out with my son. It is ridiculously close to the Super Rink and the Fogerty Rink and very convenient! Very clean and the staff was friendly.

The property is clean and quiet and the beds are comfortable. Very close to all amenities and the National Sports Centre. Excellent price.

This property is fine if you need an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights. Amenities are limited and no onsite restaurants or bar but some local options just down the street are good. I traveled with cat so they accept pets for small additional fee. Front staff was nice but rooms do not have a view as hotel is located near tire store Geez.

This property has garbage in the parking lot and hallways. The desk worker was difficult to understand. The hallway smelled like marijuana, and the breakfast is the bare minimum of foods.

Everyone was very nice. You can’t really call it a breakfast, and the coffee was not good. It looked clean, but the white socks wore on the bare floor turned gray.

Bugs in room/bed. There seem to be people living there and are in and out all night through the door with no lock/security. No smoke detector in room. Smell of cigarettes and marijuana. Room not clean and poorly constructed (ie tile in bathroom). Staff or resident working on a car in the lot.

The night staff, was not friendly at all. The day staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower walls had black mold up at the ceiling edges. I will try to attach picture. The rest of the room was nice and clean. The pop machine had an out of order sign on it. You would think you would have the repair man working on it first thing in the morning. The laundry door had an out of order sign on it also. I think the out of order signs had been there for a few days. Breakfast was minimal, but the pancakes and waffle machines were working so that was good. Parking was good, well lit parking lot. As long as you know it is a no frills hotel you will be fine.

The night staff, was not friendly at all. The day staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower walls had black mold up at the ceiling edges. I will try to attach picture. Back security door is broken and is not secure so anyone can just walk in without a key. Staff were very impersonal, like they hated their jobs. Breakfast options were a joke and dry. Refrigerator was dirty and they were drawings on the walls. Got no sleep as you van hear every time someone is walking on the floor above you. Will not stay there again and highly recommend no one else does.

While it does appear that this property has been recently updated, it has either taken a huge beating or very cheap supplies were used. The carpets are already stained in places (or, where there was floor boarding, they aren't sealed completely or already damaged up), the baseboards and walls (near the recliners) are scratched up, the halls smelled like cigarette smoke, chairs are damaged...and the towels were starchy and thin and still had Kohls tags on them. The side door to the hotel doesn't secure whatsoever. Other guests were loud and rambunctious and that went unchecked. Having said that, we had to transfer to this hotel from another that was even more run down, so the fact that this property was at least trying to present itself as clean and tidy was a reprieve for us, and we all got a good night's sleep. So while I wouldn't stay again, I can't say we had a bad experience.

Very impressed by Blaine Town Inn & Suites. We've been traveling for a week, staying in several hotels that were $300+ per night. By far, the cleanest, best maintained, most comfortable of the lot was Blaine Town Inn. Nice way to end our trip: very happy with the experience. Any time we're staying on the north side of MSP, we're staying here.
