If you like a toilet in the middle of your room with no fan or proper door, a 12" TV, no streaming, no fridge, no microwave, no usb or convenient plugs, a lounge with no people and no bartender, a bed that you slide out of and confusing check in and check out....then this is the place for you. Oh! I forgot nearlyno parking

We did not stay. When we arrived they put us in a tiny room with a double bed instead of the room I had booked and paid for two months in advance. They were unable to provide the correct room so we left. The hotel is very small with no parking and no elevator. The room was so small you couldn’t walk easily and there was only the bed and a single chair. We were supposed to have a king size bed. It seems a bait and switch situation. The hotel refused to refund my payment and I needed to contact Hotels.com to get our refund. We had paid over $450.00 for two nights and the room did not warrant that cost. There was no manager on site to handle the situation. I strongly advise against booking at this hotel.

I truly loved the location, access to main corridors, antique culture of original building and decor. There is gorgeous sports bar downstairs with big screen tv for sports. There is alao a pool table. Parking is street parking until the construction adjacent is completed. The beds are very nice and confy. The rooms are boutique style. Not really big but very very nice. Very modern en it is apparent alot of care and design went into completing these renovations 5 years ago. I would stay there again.

We loved the property. The restaurant was great. We had dinner on their beautiful patio and breakfast in the dining room. The room was small but lots of character and for one night, it was all we needed. Comfy bed!

TLDR: bring a fan, staff are awesome, breakfast buffet is quite good. Staff were excellent, from front desk right through to kitchen. A little confused by their own “do not disturb” sign, but really excellent otherwise. Very pretty location, quiet area, very close to downtown and Kensington. AC in room was inadequate, thermostat does not appear to be connected to the unit itself, temperature didn’t drop below 22 degrees centigrade the entire weekend even when set to 17, and windows don’t open which made sleep uncomfortable. Parking was a chore, especially with 2 large events occurring simultaneously, but we were able to reliably park within half a block. Noise was a bit of a concern, the doors don’t fit tight and it is hardwood floors throughout, but the guests were very respectful past about midnight, so not bad. Brunch buffet was well-appointed, kitchen staff very willing, almost eager, to accommodate celiac restrictions.

The room was amazing clean!!! The staff was amazing helpful carrying my very heavy bowling bags(2) which had 3 balls and 15lbs each. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and will definitely stay again when I need to stay in Calgary.

First time in Calgary for a 3 day training at Mount Royal University. Just a 5 minute walk to campus! I stayed in their standard room which was great for my needs. Very cosy and clean. Linens, towels, and bedding were high quality. My room did not have a desk, but plenty of space in their multiple dining areas to access a table for work. There was not a kettle in my room, but the staff at the main dining room was very accommodating. My stay included breakfast which was a bonus. Meals there were excellent. Service by staff all around was excellent. Would definitely stay here again should I return to Calgary. Thank you to the awesome reception and dining staff!

Out of the way beautique hotel right in Calgary. A quiet, comfortable place, with great staff, clean & comfy rooms and excellent F&B offerings. Only stayed one night, but will come back again, only for longer.

The staff were exceptional, specially during meal service, truly among the best in Canada. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spotless and remarkably quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The location was also ideal, with a lovely park just across the street. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

I was so impressed with the Inn. The room was on the smaller side but still beautiful and felt cozy, just like you were staying in a friends guest room. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be booking a return visit. It truly is a hidden gem!

Clean, convenient location, quiet and with both a lounge and patio, this little gem is worth a return visit. Only issue is the glass doors on both toilet closet and shower closet leave little to the imagination when sharing a room. Need more privacy.

The inn was great and had amazing staff. They truly made the difference for the shocking the size of the room itself. We booked a premium room and it was a bachelor sized one room with toilet , shower and sink all in the same room beside the bed :) being an old officers barracks makes it understandable why it is like that, but just be prepared and be comfortable if you are staying with someone else ! The bathroom and shower walls are not only 3/4 length, but also frosted glass.

Beautiful property inside and out. It’s always a pleasure to be here! Noise from Electrical room across the hallway was too loud in the middle of the night. Only setback… Wonderful staff as always and good food/hearty breakfast included.

The staff was fantastic…small hotel feel to it. When I got in too late for dinner one of the staff got me tea and a snack. Carried it to my room as I had my hands full. The bed and bedding was perfect and I am fussy. Excellent breakfast food was great and Don provided fast and friendly service. I will definitely be returning on my business trips to Calgary.

The staff were exceptional, specially during meal service, truly among the best in Canada. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spotless and remarkably quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The location was also ideal, with a lovely park just across the street. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

We did not stay. When we arrived they put us in a tiny room with a double bed instead of the room I had booked and paid for two months in advance. They were unable to provide the correct room so we left. The hotel is very small with no parking and no elevator. The room was so small you couldn’t walk easily and there was only the bed and a single chair. We were supposed to have a king size bed. It seems a bait and switch situation. The hotel refused to refund my payment and I needed to contact Hotels.com to get our refund. We had paid over $450.00 for two nights and the room did not warrant that cost. There was no manager on site to handle the situation. I strongly advise against booking at this hotel.

I love loved this inn! It was unique and clean, and the atmosphere was amazing. The rooms were so cute. Don, our server for breakfast was amazing. So friendly and professional. I would love to stay again!

Everything is very well-decorated and feels luxurious for a very affordable price. The breakfast blew me away! I wasn’t expecting full table service. It was so classy! Staff was excellent - very kind!

TLDR: bring a fan, staff are awesome, breakfast buffet is quite good. Staff were excellent, from front desk right through to kitchen. A little confused by their own “do not disturb” sign, but really excellent otherwise. Very pretty location, quiet area, very close to downtown and Kensington. AC in room was inadequate, thermostat does not appear to be connected to the unit itself, temperature didn’t drop below 22 degrees centigrade the entire weekend even when set to 17, and windows don’t open which made sleep uncomfortable. Parking was a chore, especially with 2 large events occurring simultaneously, but we were able to reliably park within half a block. Noise was a bit of a concern, the doors don’t fit tight and it is hardwood floors throughout, but the guests were very respectful past about midnight, so not bad. Brunch buffet was well-appointed, kitchen staff very willing, almost eager, to accommodate celiac restrictions.

First time in Calgary for a 3 day training at Mount Royal University. Just a 5 minute walk to campus! I stayed in their standard room which was great for my needs. Very cosy and clean. Linens, towels, and bedding were high quality. My room did not have a desk, but plenty of space in their multiple dining areas to access a table for work. There was not a kettle in my room, but the staff at the main dining room was very accommodating. My stay included breakfast which was a bonus. Meals there were excellent. Service by staff all around was excellent. Would definitely stay here again should I return to Calgary. Thank you to the awesome reception and dining staff!

Stayed here while in town for an event at the Grey Eagle. About a 2 minute drive to the event, gorgeous, residential area, dinner was great and the included breakfast was a la carte, not a buffet. Will definitely stay again if going to the Grey Eagle. Beautiful historical feel with black and white prints on the walls depicting a young Calgary.

Is a single woman traveling alone for business, it did not take me long to feel safe and comfortable in this hotel and neighborhood. I enjoyed my dinners every night and chatting with the dining staff. It is a wonderful atmosphere. Room I had was a little snug but had everything I needed, except for a luggage stand. It is not ideal to bring large, clamshell style luggage unless you plan on completely unpacking it into the armoire. The neighborhood is walkable and includes two different distilleries with pleasant outdoor seating.

Small intimate hotel in a residential area with a park opposite and walking trail through the area. We received complimentary breakfasts for on two-day stay although this was not noted in our booking. It was a very good benefit - much appreciated.

We loved the property. The restaurant was great. We had dinner on their beautiful patio and breakfast in the dining room. The room was small but lots of character and for one night, it was all we needed. Comfy bed!

Our room was very small. Not much room to store your luggage. Pictures of the rooms are deceiving. No Elevators onsite. The site did mention it but I didn't see it. So that was my fault. Due to the construction and the collage that is near by, there is no parking on site. We had to park down the street from the Inn.
