Newly Renovated 2-Bedroom Haven with Private Garden

This little bungalow was adequate for our basic needs and is in a good walkable location. It was clean, somewhat comfortable & nicely decorated. A bit confusing on how to find it as it is a back cottage. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen (though not used) is well stocked. What was not mentioned was there is a construction project of a towering addition to the front house so construction materials & workers were present. Work began at 8 am. The walkway back to the cottage is not for rolling a suitcase or navigating in the dark. The bathroom is small & tight so if you are a large person this could be an issue. There is a bidet toilet that is not a plus. It makes bizarre noises just walking past it & a remote with no instructions on its use. The photos of the side yard no longer look as shown. The furniture was misplaced, covered, dirty & unfortunately not at all inviting to relax, sit & enjoy especially looking at the wall of construction. There were some minor issues with non-working tv & ceiling fan remotes. New batteries arrived in the evening, but did not fix the ceiling fan operation so sleeping without air movement was a personal issue. Windows do not stay open & with no screens so that was not an option. Poor bedside lighting in bedrooms & glaring overhead ceiling lights with no dimmer in main room. We encounter this in many rentals so I gather bedside reading or ambient social lighting is not a priority. Good value for a brief and basic stay.

The house was just as pictured, very clean and fully stocked. Would have liked to have known about the construction prior to arrival since we were looking forward to using the outside area, but overall the house was perfect for our visit

Great house in a great neighborhood! The house has everything you could think of for a great stay (besides ice). We love this neighborhood and would highly recommend this house for a great stay in Culver City!

This house is a gem. It is hidden behind the house on the street, and has very nice amenities including the best toilet I've ever used. I know, that sounds weird, but it's a bidet and works better than most bidets. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and the bedrooms are spacious. Hosts respond quickly.

We enjoyed our stay, quiet neighborhood, clean place and zero noise level.
