Prize by Radisson, Zurich Affoltern am Albis

had a pleasant stay at Prize by Radisson in Zurich. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with all essential amenities. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the location in Affoltern am Albis is peaceful yet convenient for traveling to Zurich city. Breakfast was good, and facilities like parking and Wi-Fi made the stay even more convenient. Overall, a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Friendly staff, good parking

Excellent hotel at a great price. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and quiet. I could have driven around to look for a parking spot (I assume for a fee), but elected to park in the underground garage. Parking was $25USD.

Ausser das Parking ist mit 20.- für den Ort etwas teuer, dafür aber immerhin mit direktem Zugang zum Hotel. Hotel situé en dehors de la ville et calme. Ce que nous avons trouvé dommage c'est de nous inciter à prendre leur parking à 20 franc alors que l'on peut se garer gratuitement dans les résidences autour.

The front desk man was helpful, I parked outside of the hotel, close to the train station 7pm-8am is free. It’s about 400m walk if I am right. Coffee vending machines on the ground floor or you can buy breakfast.

Ok hotel. Reception is open to 8pm and there is 10chf charge for late check in after 9pm and 50chf beyond 11pm which seems strange for a large hotel. The property is in industrial/commercial area so parking at 20chf per night seems high even if normally pay for parking in Swiss hotels in urban/semi urban areas. Breakfast was quite good and room hotel quite modern/new. The room was quite clean but empty bottles on floor and no soap/shampoo in containers.

Our room smelled like sewage and the air hardly worked. The shower leaked and there was a mysterious stain on the couch and a massive wet area on the carpet. The only thing good about it was the breakfast.

A limpeza deixou muito a desejar ,pedimos para mudar de quarto. A casa de banho suja ,duche entupido,cama com cabelos

The room was not cleaned, there was hair from the previous person in the bathroom, used shampoo and other products! We couldn't make shower. They didn't want to refund even if we moved to another hotel. It's embarrassing to see this at a hotel in the Radisson chain.

Al llegar a nuestra habitación el retrete estaba salpicado y sucio, como si alguien lo hubiera usado. Los colchones son incómodos porque puedes notar los muelles y las almohadas son demasiado altas y rígidas. Sin embargo, la ducha estaba en muy buenas condiciones, con agua caliente y abundante.

Front desk and the ladies handling breakfast were tremendous, friendly and helpful. Pretty serious glitch with housekeeping. Bare minimum effort for twelve days, even when we left for four days they didn't bother to clean at all. Ran out of toilet paper and towels several times and a promised real clean (first effort) was better and rated a poor. I understand staffing issues but only two days before leaving did a reasonable job get done. We were there thee weeks.

Unfortunately the second bed was a pull out couch which was extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise, a nice hotel right beside the train station.

The hotel was hard to find. It looked like an office bldg. There was no sign that said Prize by Radisson so we walked right by it. The bedding was dirty and the carpet stained and worn out. The safety chain was broken. I would not recommend this hotel.

Medine at the reception was great — very professional and attentive. However, the front desk is staffed only at certain times. The 15chf or almost $19 I paid for breakfast was not worth it: at almost 7 AM (where the restaurant was already crowded) there wasn’t any egg or sausage, only cold cuts (ham), cereals, rolls and jam. The coffee machine with a choice of flavors was broken so we had to make do with the coffee pot. There’s a supermarket (Coop) that’s within walking distance so might as well buy stuff in the evening or wait until McDonald’s, also an 8-minute walk from the hotel, opens at 10. I didn’t report it to reception but my door at room 417 was very difficult to open and close. It would have been nice if the room had a fridge/cooler.

On first impression the hotel looked nice and it was in a good location for quick access to the train station. But the service and the room were disappointing. On the first night the shower only worked on a boiling hot temperature which could have resulted in severe burns. The air conditioner didn't work and there was no means of ventilation apart from wedging the room door open. We complained in the morning and the shower was fixed but the air conditioner was not repaired so we spent the next few nights in an uncomfortably hot and stuffy room without ventilation. If you like the convenience of coffee in your room, bring your own as it's not provided. Otherwise you will have to go downstairs to the lobby with your credit card to pay for a drink from the machine.

I get that AC in Europe is different than AC in US, but for this hotel to advertise it has AC is an untruth. This was a day that was only 26 C(78 f) and the room was miserable. Front desk was great. Even gave us his desk fan. A room over $180 each night shouldn't feel like this.

Booked a queen sized bed & a single bed, it was a small double bed& a folded out sofa bed. There was no room for my 13 year old to manoeuvre round the room on his crutches as his foot is broken. The queen size beds are actually small doubles, spoke to the rudest receptionist I've ever come across who basically told me "I cant build you a hotel" as i requested the size bed I had booked due to my partner being 6ft3 and not fitting in the bed. He was rude, dismissive & spoke over the top of me multiple times & then refused to give his name when I told him I was lodging a formal complaint. The hotel reception is beautiful, the rooms are not. They are worse then most budget hotel I've stayed in. Stains on the carpet, soap dispenser in the shower full of mould, dirty plastic cup in the bathroom, hair on the shower wall, dirty tissues under the bed. There was a kettle full of dirt floating in some water that had been left in it, there was 1 tea bag, 4 sugars, 2 biscuits and no cups to actually make the 1 teabag The beds - the small double was like lying on the floor it was so hard & the bed was not big enough for 2 normal sized adults let alone 1 who is 6ft3. The pull out sofa bed had a mattress so thin my child could feel all the metal bars through it and barley slept. There was 1 nice lady on reception who despite promising me a manger would contact me re: all of the above issues, still has not happened. I have sent 2 emails and I have just been ignored. STAY ELSEWHERE

Great hotel everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and it has noise proof walls and doors, the train station is very close I could see it from my room window. We didn’t heard any noise, sound coming in at all. The food was great, Thank you. Also Check in and out was very simple. Thanks for your service.

Es war alles bestens. Modernes Hotel, gleich beim Bahnhof gelegen. Das Frühstück war ok, aber nicht mehr. Der Service gut und freundlich, die Lage ruhig. Preis-Leistung insgesamt sehr gut.

Vi hadde sent innsjekking på grunn av kollisjon i motorveien og hotlet belastet oss 40 CHF, selv om vi forklarte grunnen for forsinkelsen. Rommer var veldig varmt og ubehagelig .

Staff was awesome especially the night manager. Above and beyond! I wish I knew his name. A friendly voice in a world where we are the visitors from another country.

Our stay here was beyond disappointing! Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready (at check in time). We went to a local shop while we waited and returned around a half hour later to find the room still not ready. When it finally was, the room was obviously rushed through quickly as it was not very clean at all. The staff were somewhat apologetic and offered us a piece of chocolate. The next morning, the breakfast was no where to be seen along with any staff members. When we called the assistance number, they questioned us as to why there weren’t any staff present? If you need any help with anything, the staff aren’t there until 3pm The same thing happened on the second morning of our stay with breakfast. Truly disappointing. We had reached out for compensation as we had paid extra for breakfast and had to pay for additional breakfast elsewhere but didn’t get a response. Expedia also reached out unsuccessfully. Avoid at all costs!

We contacted the hotel in August to change our Sept reservation.They could not find our reservation. We emailed them to ask for confirmation they emailed back that did not have a reservation that we booked through Expedia. We booked other accommodations and then was charged for rooms that were not confirmed by the hotel!

The female staff at the front desk was helpful. She was willing to help the customers. Special thanks to her for everything during my stay at the hotel. The choice of food at breakfast is very limited but it is enough in the morning time. The room was clean.

The only problem with this hotel is if you arrive early then there is no option for early check in as there is no staff. Breakfast was good with lot of options.

Das Personal hat unter der Notfallnummer einfach aufgelegt und 7 Personen vor verschlossenen Türen lassen die total übermüdet, verschwitzt in 4 Autos zw. 5-8 Stunden heimfahren mußten.

Fint hotell, 2 min fra togstasjonen. Ca 30min fra sentrum. Rent og fint hotell. Litt kjedelig frokost, og manglet bacon, men funket fint.

Sehr schönes, modern renoviertes Hotel. Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Lage ist top! Supermarkt und Bahnhof sind in 2 min erreichbar.

Preislich eine sehr gute Alternative zum teuren Zürich. 30 Minuten Zufahrt und man ist stressfrei im Zentrum. Bahnhof direkt gegenüber vom Hotel

On my way from Australia to southern Germany to commence a cycling holiday This was right near the train and easy access into Zurich so had a day sightseeing Good option if you don’t need the expense of a hotel right in Zurich.

Hotel ist sauber, das Personal ist nett und freundlich. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel. Ist aber etwas ausserhalb von Zürich. Es gibt aber ein Bahnhof in der Nähe und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

La chambre reçue était sale ou encore occupée. Seconde chambre pas terrible. Literie à ressorts pas bonne et pas dé télécommande pour la TV. Bouilloire et tasses disponibles mais pas de café. Petit déjeuner non acceptable…. Tout était vide et très peu de choix.

Very rude staff in the breakfast area, one of the staff member made us put away dishes, she yelled at other guest when they did not put away the dishes, coffee machine was purposely shown out of order, toaster was shown out of order, when we insisted her we need coffee she angrily removerd the out of order sign,food was not enough in the breakfast, dirty cutlery, flys roaming around, our money was wasted in this hotel,

Very cozy atmosphere, newly renovated hotel in a perfect location. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Highly recommendable!

Air conditioning system needs to be upgraded specifically in summer time with a remote control system. Breakfast was limited and the main disappointing was under staff. Had to ask the staff for refilling the Breakfast and it was like feeling shy to ask every often for the same things. MEDINE did try her best to serves the best possible breakfast, but she's got limited authority. Management is very poor and for Switzerland it's a shame. We hope they'll improve very sharply, otherwise close to train station & local supermarkets.

The room was ok, hower the douche cabine in the corner black and dirty. Breakfast poor and most food empty. A big group of Chinese guests took all the food and nothing was left over. Even no eggs. No spooms etc

Unfortunately, almost all the food had been used up at breakfast, although there was still breakfast left for an hour. The waiters were not very eager to fill the table with breakfast. The service at the reception was very good.
