Check in was quick. The room was clean. Breakfast had a wide variety to select from. If you want to swim in the pool, you need to bring a bathing cap!! The best part of our stay was meeting Julia from Guest Relations. She speaks Russian and was helpful during our stay as there were Russian speakers in my group.

It is in the CBD (Tianhe) and very conveniently located. Has a 24-hour fitness center, daytime hot tub and pool (remember the swim cap if you want to swim), and if you need an English-speaking staff you can always find one. Rooms are clean and serviced every day, nothing to complain about.

Hotel room excellent…local area nothing much to do unless you take a taxi. To go to canton fair, the shuttle bus is comfortable but the traffic has become much heavier in Guangzhou than previous years…five minutes taxi to shopping malls…not much entertainment in the hotel if you wanna stay in during the evening…wifi very bad

員工服務態度良好，早餐豐富美味，酒店房間也舒適。我今次是港車北上，酒店系統能讀取香港車牌，但酒店電腦系統內卻找不到我的紀錄，大堂其中有要位懂廣東話的男員工很認真的幫我處理。唯一美中不足的是酒店電動車充電系統不能支援香港的電動車，我嘗試了很多次才知道，我要到其他地方找充電樁，帶來一定程度的不便，所以我下一次未必會考慮再住在這間酒店。

I recently spent an enchanting stay at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich, and overall, it was an unforgettable experience that combined luxury in an impressive manner. However, I must unfortunately mention an unfortunate episode at the pool area that affected my overall experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly staff, ensuring a smooth and quick check-in process. My room overlooking the city was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all modern conveniences. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel's facilities were impressive, especially the large, well-maintained pool and attentive staff. Unfortunately, my experience at the pool was not as pleasant as expected. I observed some guests behaving inappropriately by spitting directly into the water, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. I reported the incident to the staff, but it seemed like they did not take it seriously or take any action to address the issue. This unfortunate incident affected my enjoyment at the pool, and I no longer felt it was a comfortable place to spend time. I hope that the management will take this seriously and implement more proactive measures to ensure that all guests can enjoy the facilities without unpleasant incidents. VPN impossible et la plupart des applications internationales inaccessible. Il est necessaire de fonctionner essentiellement sur son propore reseau. Un point desagreable, la piscine a été en travaux sur l\'ensemble de notre sejour soit du 21 au 26/02. L hotel s est bien gardé de nous informer en amont de ce probleme par peur certainement d\'une annulation... Pas correct car notre enfant a été extremement decu.

Ich komme seit 15 Jahren jährlich in dieses Hotel. Leider sind die Zimmer nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ging nicht und es gab auch kein Fenster welches man öffnen konnte. Nach mehrmaligem Bescheid geben an der Rezeption konnte das Problem leider nicht behoben werden. Daher für diesen Aufenthalt keine gute Bewertung. Auch das Frühstück war nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Manchmal gibt es Frühstück bis 11 Uhr und manchmal bis 10 Uhr. Oft is es so überfüllt das eine längere Wartezeit besteht - das nervt morgens wenn man frühstücken möchte (und dafür Geld im Voraus bezahlt hat)…

Greta service at check in. One thing about the room is there is smoke smell in the room and the walls between each room is very thin. I was woken up on the last day around 6am by the room beside me, as they were playing loud music and partying. I tried to call the reception and told them about the situation, but nothing was done. Hence, will not recommend staying here in future, poor customer service.

After I checked in, I got the room key and went to the room, but actually, someone was living in the room. I was shocked, and the person was shocked too. The manager told me it was mistake by front desk staffs. I can’t believe happen this at Sofitel.

After I checked in, I got the room key and went to the room, but actually, someone was living in the room. I was shocked, and the person was shocked too. The manager told me it was mistake by front desk staffs. I can’t believe happen this at Sofitel.

We left the hotel it is nice good breakfast convenient location front office is very diligent but the bell man for the entrance when we drop from airport could be more friendly help with luggage and a bit more hospitable they are lacking in traffic control and always jam at the traffic that's a very disappointment on a few days that we are there including having a heavy or heated discussion with one bellmen because he didn't control the traffic right and block everybody's car

The night shift hotel staff is total chaos, i do not recommend to stay in here if u are traveling with ur other half. My fiancee and i stayed here on jan 27 and 28 2024, we were asked impolitely that where are we heading, what is your room number or even request to show the room card when we were back to the hotel at night. I think they are treating us a thief. When i ask them what is the reason that they need to ask this kind of question every time when we r back, they reply it is house policy and it is necessary.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel with our family. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. A special thanks to Mia and Yulia from the Guest Relations team, who made our checkout process quick and smooth. Their professionalism and warm service truly made a difference.

It is in the CBD (Tianhe) and very conveniently located. Has a 24-hour fitness center, daytime hot tub and pool (remember the swim cap if you want to swim), and if you need an English-speaking staff you can always find one. Rooms are clean and serviced every day, nothing to complain about.

Check in was quick. The room was clean. Breakfast had a wide variety to select from. If you want to swim in the pool, you need to bring a bathing cap!! The best part of our stay was meeting Julia from Guest Relations. She speaks Russian and was helpful during our stay as there were Russian speakers in my group.

Ich komme seit 15 Jahren jährlich in dieses Hotel. Leider sind die Zimmer nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ging nicht und es gab auch kein Fenster welches man öffnen konnte. Nach mehrmaligem Bescheid geben an der Rezeption konnte das Problem leider nicht behoben werden. Daher für diesen Aufenthalt keine gute Bewertung. Auch das Frühstück war nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Manchmal gibt es Frühstück bis 11 Uhr und manchmal bis 10 Uhr. Oft is es so überfüllt das eine längere Wartezeit besteht - das nervt morgens wenn man frühstücken möchte (und dafür Geld im Voraus bezahlt hat)…

Wonderful stay. The room was very clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! There was a wide choice of delicious items including both Chinese and continental cuisine. The staff of the reception was friendly, efficient and polite. I will stay in this hotel again.

Overall, we had an okay experience. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the hotel upgraded two of our three rooms, which we appreciated. However, we were overcharged for an extra beer and had to request a refund. After several rounds of communication, the hotel asked us to email them the necessary information so they could process the refund. We have since provided the requested details and are currently waiting for the refund to be issued. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom setup. It was missing a bathroom door, resulting in very little privacy. My sister initially thought something was missing or malfunctioning and contacted the front desk for assistance. The staff responded promptly and came to the room, but their solution was to cover the opening with a piece of black plastic to provide privacy. While we appreciated their quick response, this was a very unusual situation and not what we would expect from a five-star hotel.
