Bear Cottage - Cozy Basement Apartment w/ views!

Very accommodating host and prompt communication. We loved the location and the house amenities were very appreciated. My wife and I were able to have our very own private date night for our anniversary without leaving the house.

We were pleased with how clean and cute the space was! There really is a lot of room to move around and do your own thing. After long days of mountain biking we enjoyed coming back to crash. However, I took one star away because there isn’t much in the way of comfortable seating. There is a very small sofa for watching TV just off the kitchen. The game room has the large screen TV, but only metal bar stools and a straight back chair for seating, as well as a couple of small beanbags for the kids. Our son was happy with that but we were a little uncomfortable on that end. Also, as mentioned in the description, you can hear the upstairs renters very clearly. Make sure to bring some noise cancelling headphones or earplugs and hope a family of cloggers doesn’t come to stay upstairs. Overall though, we were happy with our stay.

It was amazing I have to say we travel a lot and this place was great I recommend it to anyone I will be back!

The place is clean! But there is a game table that has something in it not sand but similar and is all over the floor.. we loved the location, being in the basement didn’t bother us.. we loved Chattanooga and when it says 18 mins from the aquarium that’s it.. I thought it being in the city would take longer but it didn’t.. it’s the perfect country house that’s not to far from the city 💚
