Underbart hotell med sköna sängar, mysigt rum, högklassig coctailbar och ett mycket centralt läge i Washington DC!

Riggs hotell är jättebra på alla sätt och vis. Och läget är fantastiskt - väldigt bra gångavstånd till det mesta. 10-15 minuter till Vita huset. 30 minuter till Lincoln memorial. 15 minuter till fantastiska Washington Monument. Nära till de bästa museerna. Lite längre till Capitol Hill men helt ok. Bra städning och trevlig personal. Det enda som var lite störande var två saker kopplade till hotel.com det ena att att vi skulle ha inklusive frukost men man fick 'bara' en 25 USD per dag biljett och frukosten var verkligen dyr (jättefin men ej prisvärd - ej buffe) vilket var lite irriterande. Det andra var när vi bokade var det med 25% rabatt - javisst men ingenstans stod det tydligt att man bara fick 3 stämplar för 4 nätter.

a lovely hotel in the center of Washington DC, with very nice and comfortable rooms. They offered a glass of champagne upon check-in which was very nice. Loved the robes and slippers in the room. Rooms are quiet and well appointed. I loved having a table and chairs that were comfortable. Some suggestions- can the complementary in-room coffee have big cups instead of just the espresso-size cups. I made two and it was still NOT enough. And, can the in-room thermostat work? Mine was turned off and set at 68 degrees. BRRRRR.... And lighting in the room could have been better. Mostly reading lamps that were VERY BRIGHT (which is welcome), but how about a real lamp instead on one of the two bedside tables?

We were there for a short visit to go to the White House. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly from the time of arrival to checkout and anything in between. We will definitely be back! Thank you Riggs!
