Clean hotel, friendly staff. The night we stayed they had a water main break but they kept us updated throughout the process. They had to close their restaurants so that was disappointing because The Trophy Room was why we stayed there. Appreciated the 11amxheckput!

Restaurant food was good but breakfast had no service. You have to leave hotel to get to restaurants and they have lots of stairs unless you park in an inconvenient place for ramps. No USB ports to charge things. If I was here for a conference I would not come back.

We stayed there for just one night and for less than the price of a local hotel. The grounds of the property were immaculate, service was great and friendly. My wife and I will definitely come back, maybe when we can stay longer and take advantage of the golf course, pickle ball courts, pool, or even the ice rink!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Kinderhook. Very self sustaining, meaning, breakfast, lunch, dinner all available on the property. Great salt water pool. Great cabana. The golf course looked great, we don't golf, but I was told by several other guests that it is a great course. Also, I loved having a full vanity in the bathroom. Gave me places to put my bathroom items instead of all over the counter. There were a couple of negative things howeber, the first, in the shower, there was only a little soap tray that fit only 2 small bottles. All of my shower items needed to be put on the floor, Also, the shower is not very woman friendly. No place to put your foot to shave your legs. The other item is that we wanted our room cleaned, but when we returned, the bed was barely made, they did not vacuum, they only laid new towels on our bathroom counter, they did not take the old towels. However, when we first arrived, the room was extremely clean, so maybe we did not give them enough time to clean thoroughly.

Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Simple things like asking for towels or additional pillow put them out. Housekeeping staff was excellent and very friendly when asking for items. Pay a resort fee but things like the pool and workout room were not open. Trophy Room restaurant was very disappointing, this was our 2nd time there, the first was best meal we have ever had and outstanding waitstaff. Not sure if chef has changed but meal was not good and waitstaff not friendly at all.

Our stay was short but wonderful. The only thing I wish is that we knew about the indoor pool, hot tub and the gym. We had no idea those existed. Otherwise, everything was great.

The property was fine and close to bass pro which was my destination for the following day. The room was a bit musty. I wanted to point out that the cost of tickets to the Bp museums has changed. There is now only one price. The manager was under the assumption that ticket prices were for different parts of the it. Therefore I missed out on the discount tickets offered. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Kinderhook Resort was a delightful experience with beautiful view of the fall colors. The room was clean, staff professional and helpful. Both restaurants were very good and affordable. I would recommend and return here again. Only minutes from HaHa Tonka State Park.

There’s a reason this resort is called OLD Kinderhook…it’s old. And it’s tired. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is another thing…it is dark and worn and dirty along the walls and carpet. The staff generally reflects the facility—nobody seemed excited to be working. The room walls we were in were smudged. The place smells like a gym as they have lots of sports players there. Anyway, we won’t return.

This property is secluded and quiet. The room was spacious and had a patio and chairs that overlooks the pool from room 122. The building is 3 stories tall and has an elevator. The room has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We really enjoyed our stay!

The room and the facilities were stuck back in the 1970’s. The furniture was in dire need of replacement. A small table about collapsed. Also noticed peeling wallpaper. We might as well have slept on the floor. The beds were as hard as rock. Was told there were ice and vending machines down the hall and was only ice. Could tell when the bars closed as the party seemed to move to the hallway several times during the night. Kids running up and down the hall was annoying. It did seem clean and the staff were all pleasant.

Overall, hotel was good given there aren't many decent hotel options in this area. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Seems to be fairly newly renovated. Very basic room and bathroom, but clean and well kept. We found the mattress to be very firm and uncomfortable. Onsite restaurant - Trophy Room - was nice and food was good. The location is remote and a bit far from many things in the main areas - about 20-25 min drive - but it was fine for us. We came for a show at the nearby Ozarks Amphitheater and the hotel offered a $20 shuttle. Check beforehand to reserve as seats are limited.

The view of the golf course was INCREDIBLE! So peaceful and quiet! We loved sitting on the deck and watching the golfers. The room was nice, clean, and large. We really liked the coffee bar area. The location was perfect! It was a 5min drive to Ha Ha Tonka park, the caves, and Camdenton. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Camdenton!

We always love staying here and this isn't our first time. For some reason, this time, our bed was super firm and uncomfortable. We all had a hard time sleeping both nights. But other than that, everything else was wonderful as usual. :)

It is a beautiful area with the golf course and homes. Our complaint is that it was very loud. We could hear people walking in the room above us and in the hallway. We had to call to complain about the noise as the stomping went on for hours. The shower had very little shelving room for toiletries.

We had to call to complain about the noise as the stomping went on for hours. The shower had very little shelving room for toiletries.

Our room was wonderful, very clean, and expertly prepared. The front desk staff was outstanding; very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The overall experience was excellent -- our room was very quiet and comfortable. For future short visits to the Lake, we'll stay at the Lodge again; for longer ones, we may rent one of the villa.

Old Kinderhook Resort is a beautiful property. The grounds, the golf course, the houses...all very nice. The Lodge is a very nice place as well. The rooms are clean and large. Our entire group had a terrible experience with the staff. Not friendly and helpful, no extra towels or pillows. Did not want to work with us on a late checkout, and were just plain rude about us asking. We wanted to stay up in the main ballroom and talk, but we were kicked out at 10pm because of quiet hours. There were only 4 of us talking and were not loud.

This property was amazing and located in a great area. The girl that checked us in was super rude and not helpful at all. Other than that the stay was perfect. The room was great and super comfortable. I'd stay here over and over again!

Everything was great except there was never anyone at the front desk for questions and at check out no one was there we waited approximately 15/20 minutes while waiting for our ride and nobody showed up, I had to call once I returned home to ask for my receipt to be emailed

The lady at check in was not very friendly and the water at the resort was on a boil order. We were given water bottles upon request. The pillows are flat and you are only give 2 per bed and we had 4 guest in one room. We asked for another and was told no. Over all it is a beautiful resort but for staying less than 24 hours it is not worth the money.

We've stayed here for youth hockey a few times and each time have loved our stay. We recently returned and had another incredibly amazing stay. Christine at the front desk was amazing! She was kind, knowledgeable and went out of her way to accommodate us! Give that girl a raise!

Great location near restaurants and short drive to the Ozark Amphitheatre. Trophy Room restaurant on site was delicious as well. Will definitely stay again and will stay longer to work in a round of golf as well. The course looked fun.

Overall, hotel was good given there aren't many decent hotel options in this area. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Seems to be fairly newly renovated. Very basic room and bathroom, but clean and well kept. We found the mattress to be very firm and uncomfortable. Onsite restaurant - Trophy Room - was nice and food was good. The location is remote and a bit far from many things in the main areas - about 20-25 min drive - but it was fine for us. We came for a show at the nearby Ozarks Amphitheater and the hotel offered a $20 shuttle. Check beforehand to reserve as seats are limited.

Kinderhook Resort was a delightful experience with beautiful view of the fall colors. The room was clean, staff professional and helpful. Both restaurants were very good and affordable. I would recommend and return here again. Only minutes from HaHa Tonka State Park.

Kinderhook is always a special place to stay at while down at the Lake of the Ozarks. The property is always well maintained, and it is a peaceful and quiet getaway. In addition, the view of the pool and the golf course from the balcony is top notch.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. The night we stayed they had a water main break but they kept us updated throughout the process. They had to close their restaurants so that was disappointing because The Trophy Room was why we stayed there. Appreciated the 11amxheckput!

Very quiet, clean, and relaxing. Had a wonderful dinner and drinks at the Trophy Room. Waitress was absolutely great, and it was a nice way 2 end the day.

Old Kinderhook is always a nice getaway. The rooms can use updating especially for the nightly rate of almost $200.00 Pool conditions are very clean! Dining options limited, but good food.

Restaurant food was good but breakfast had no service. You have to leave hotel to get to restaurants and they have lots of stairs unless you park in an inconvenient place for ramps. No USB ports to charge things. If I was here for a conference I would not come back.

Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Simple things like asking for towels or additional pillow put them out. Housekeeping staff was excellent and very friendly when asking for items. Pay a resort fee but things like the pool and workout room were not open. Trophy Room restaurant was very disappointing, this was our 2nd time there, the first was best meal we have ever had and outstanding waitstaff. Not sure if chef has changed but meal was not good and waitstaff not friendly at all.

loved that our room was on the bottom floor and opened up right to the pool. dinner at the restaurant wasn’t amazing for the price so i’d look in town but the hotel itself was a good place to come back to after a day trip on the lake.

The room was very clean. The staff is very friendly. The couples massages were the best we ever had and the staff at the spa is wonderful. The breakfast is very good and very filling!! we will definitely be back

This hotel is extremely OLD as in not renovated. Every piece of furniture had nicks all over. The only thing that looked good was the bed furnishings-mthey were modern. The air conditioning was good and looked much newer. I was very disappointed—especially based on the price. It was about $250 with the tax and resort fees added on. We ended up leaving day early. The only resort benefit we used was the WiFi.

Kinderhook stay was very pleasant. Just did understand why no coffee in big dining room?? Had to walk to club house, not to handy for visually impaired person and 83 years old fellow with neuropathy!! Coffee in room not the same as fresh brewed!

The rooms and whole hotel are very dated and drab. Furniture was old and had scratched. I asked for a better room and the staff arranged one for us. The second room was better but still very dated. We had confirmed dinner reservations at their nice restaurant but were told there were no tables available in the dining room. We were told we could sit at the bar. I do not recommend and would not stay here again.
