Hotel Villa Svizzera Terme

Location was excellent, service top, facilities very nice, value for money good. Good breakfast and other hotel services as well. One thing I wasn't all that happy was slightly misleading information about island sightseeing spots and thermal parks info. Part of travelling is like this, must go and find out ourselves what is going on and where. Hotel could have informed as well better about using efficient bus services from port and to port instead offering expensive taxi services primarily.

Piscines chauffees agréables, chambres fonctionnelles avec petite terrasse privative, proche du centre, personnel a l’accueil tres bien, au service moins sympathiques. Spa sur place sympa. Horaires de service limites (snack, petit dej…)

Very helpful staff. Arranged trips for us and couldn't have been more helpful. The thermal pool was divine. Good continental breakfast. All round lovely location and great place to stay. Highly recommend. Other tips not related to hotel was the overpricing of the taxi drivers. Not consistent and very expensive indeed! Charged 30 euros for a short drive to the port which was around a mile away. Plus between 15 and 20 euros to go less than 2 miles to other places.

This was our seventh holiday to Ischia and the third consecutive year that we have stayed at Albergo Terme Villa Svizzera. The staff team, from housekeeping, to reception, to the restaurant, cannot be faulted and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. We stay half board as the food is great. I particularly enjoy the fish dishes and the Ischian rabbit, and there are options that would suit most people. We saw people that stayed at the same time as us last year so the hotel is clearly doing something right. There is a wonderful shaded, seated area next to the outdoor pool that is perfect for simply relaxing or reading books and an outdoor bar to keep you hydrated. There are plenty of sun loungers around the outdoor pool and gardens. The indoor thermal pool is around 38 degrees and is great for tender joints. When you have done relaxing, Lacco Ameno is a 2min walk from the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel entrance and over the road, as well as a taxi rank for when you want to explore further afield. Reception can arrange your airport transfer which takes the stress out of using a third party. Are we returning to Ischia next year? Yes. Will we stay at Albergo Terme Villa Svizzera? Most definitely!
