Paradise Inn

First, Cliff, the front desk person, was wonderful. He gets 5 stars. The hotel itself? Not good at all. It was like putting. Afresh coat of paint on a rusted out 70 year old car. The room 2102 was in very bad condition, "jet tub" was scraped all over, was filthy and then didn't even work after filling it for an hour. Ceiling tiles were a mess. Everything was terrible. He switched our room to 2114.. it was updated more than the previous room, but we were grossed out. This hotel chain needs to step it up a notch. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I deserve some kind of refund. Showed up to check in at 3 and was unable to because of an internet problem. I called many times and got no answer. I had to completely change my plans it caused me to drive 30 minutes out and back. When I came back the office was closed and my key was in an envelope on the office door.

1. Asked for an extra blanket day one-never got it 2. Said in listing iron available up request-non-had to order one came day 2 3. Charged card TWICE but said it was declined-had to CANCEL my card 4. Said coffee day 2 in lobby-had to make our own-said pastries never came 5. Asked toilet paper in office-had to find on our own-luckily we found a house keeper 6. Manager and people hanging in office not being helpful 7. Shampoo and soap only one use-ridiculous tiny sized 8. Disappointing stay-we should be getting some kind of compensation for all the awful experiences…

Good location in Bennington and rooms are in good condition and certainly adequate to good. The building looks like a do-it -yourself renovation job with poor workmanship, very dark hallways.

Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Building was quiet. Wifi was fast and stable. Very relaxing environment. I would definitely come back to see what future improvements are made to the property as I was told by the front desk staff that they're making a constant effort to upgrade the facilities.
