Very convenient location for Theatre & shopping centre with large multi-storey car park right next door. Hotel was clean & views amazing, especially from the sky bar & restaurant on the 14th floor. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel, great room. Close to shopping centre and food options. Only downside is there was an ice dispenser outside of our family room which when used was extremely loud. Not a great location seeing as a family room usually means children or infants sleeping so the ice dispenser wakes everyone up. Perhaps move it to near the lifts?

We stayed for one night as it’s the perfect location for the theatre. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. We would have liked if the ice machine in the corridor also dispensed cold filtered water and I think that would be a good future upgrade.

All good as usual stayed a few times , Two points about Roof Top bar , why when i order at Bar do i get a service charge ?and why cant you just buy a coffee or small breakfast in morning , only option £18.95 Buffet breakfast ! Staying again soon but not a good location to meet customers as you cant buy just a coffee

A really excellent new modern hotel. The view from the restaurant level is spectacular and breakfast better than most. Lovely bathroom and well equipped bedroom. I won’t stay anywhere else in Milton Keynes from now on, plus there is reasonable ample parking right next door.

What a lovely hotel. Free parking after 6pm. Check in staff friendly. Gym small, but ok for a quick workout. Restaurant a real treat with fantastic views. Noisy through the night with guests coming back but this happens all the time in hotels as guests get drunk and are not respectful. Spoke to reception in the morning and they were understanding and said I should have called down etc. all in all top classy hotel and would definitely return.

Took a long time to check in despite being seen straight away. Room was okay. Very basic and no way to fill up the water bottle. Bathroom had signs of water damage to the door and door surround produce to no proper shower screen. No privacy curtain on the huge window so you either had to change in the bathroom or draw the curtains. Food and drinks are super super expensive so we only had cocktails which were very overpriced getting service in the bar is a chore. You’re told it’s table service then no one comes to your table. We had to really gesture to the staff to get seen which I personally do not like as you can appear rude. Breakfast was way too expensive so a quick walk to Wetherspoons was for us in the morning before we left. Also they state they validate parking but you only get £5 off the £15 per day.

Excellent parking, service and staff. Had a brilliant stay and the view alone is worth the entire expense. If I had to nit-pick the only thing I would say is the glasses in the room were quite dusty on the outside and the shower head itself could do with a bit of cleaning but other then that its brilliant and spotless. Will definitely be staying again and will recommend!

I was not impressed with Hotel La Tour. The welcome at the front desk was not very warm and even though I had clearly booked a room for 2 guests they asked my friend if she had booked a separate room. When entering our room we were most disappointed to find that there was only one bath towel and one hand towel laid out. The duvet was absolutely filthy with what looks like spilt coffee on it. What a shame. I had high hopes of this hotel and instead it was no more than an overpriced premier Inn with no thoughtful extras.

Nice view from room, air conditioner by nice and cool. Didn’t like limescale in shower head that I cleaned myself. Stained duvet looked like a blood spot but didn’t take a picture so no proof, cleaner took picture from a mile away so couldn’t see anything. Mentioned to duty manager but that was it.

Good location, no free parking but with discount when checking out. Lovely lady at the reception while we checked in. Nice size room and clean although shower had a huge yellow stain near the drain. There was an issue either with socket or a hairdryer itself, after drying my hair, I burned myself with one of the pins on a plug. It was extremely hot and dangerous and left a bruise on my finger. I wanted to report it when checking out, unfortunately there was a different lady at the reception who wasn't nice at all when we went to ask about breakfast and when we went to check out. She looked annoyed when I handed her my parking ticket to get discount. Wasn't feeling comfortable to talk to her.

Modern and clean hotel with great views, excellent air con and a spacious room. The shower was large and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed some lovely cocktails, though they were quite pricey, so be warned. Unfortunately, housekeeping didn’t make up our room or replace the towels and water. When I called reception, I was told they “might” be able to fit us in before they went home (charming)! I was also told at booking that they would cover parking costs (as there’s no hotel car park), but when I asked, I was told it would be cheaper for me to pay it myself, which didn’t make sense.

Hotel La Tour is fairly new and the rooms are very nice and being the tallest building in Milton Keynes you do get a good view from the rooms facing Campbell park. If you get one facing the opposite side the view is great as long as you are on the 5th floor or above otherwise it's the car park you're seeing. The only things missing to make the room 4 star would be a mini fridge, and spare pillows which come as standard in other hotels. It would also have been nice to have some more information in the room as I only found out when I was leaving that at the end of the corridor there is an ice machine.

The plunger in the sink was temperamental the hotel Tried to sort but it was still tricky to use. Ice machine outside very noisy! And the door rattled every time somebody open the left lobby door. But it wouldn’t put me off staying again as the rooms are so nice

Clean. Very comfy bed. Bit clinical, could do with something to rest your suitcase on as it lies on the floor. Biggie was the water in the shower wasn't hot enough - I'm not a baby let me control the heat.

Great view and comfortable bed, but that's pretty much it. Desk staff wasn't very welcoming, in the room there was no rack for the luggage, no tooth glass, the shower temperature wasn't constant, the towels were not soft at all. And no fridge in the room. Below average for a 4 star hotel.

Lovely views from restaurant / bar, good breakfast selection, room had everything that we needed, only comment is that the bed was extremely high! I have a bad ankle currently and getting on and off the bed was challenging due to the height, I imagine those people with bad backs might also find this a challenge too.

On checkin I found the staff to be unfriendly and rude when it appeared that despite me Expedia App clearly showing a valid reservation with he hotel system showing a cancelled reservation the rather rude agent was never apologetic for the error (whether caused by Expedia or the Hotel) I expect better customer service from any accommodation that I book to stay at. Then subsequently charging me twice for the same room with only my attending the front desk to have it rectified, again the same agent basically blaming me by stating you will recall when you checked in there was an issue with your booking. I’ve stayed at this property several times and this is the first time I’ve had such an experience.

Hotel is excellent but staff hopeless and unwilling to help. Was promised an emailed receipt for my stay which, of course, never arrived. Chased twice since and been simply ignored. Therefore can’t submit my stay on business expenses without the receipt. Attitude just stinks.

Unfortunately we had a terrible sleep due to the neighbours next door. I appreciate that this wasn’t the hotels thought however we did contact reception on a number of occasions to no avail. This hotel used to be my go to. Will have to try another.

Have stayed a number of times in last year. Nice bar. Good restaurant. Average service and gym. Don’t book on hotels.com and try and cancel as you won’t get any good will or refund. Also, if you leave anything behind in the room and try and make contact with them to get it back by phone and email you just get told you’ll get contacted back but never do. What could be a really good hotel let’s itself down on service

Great location. Parking is in the multi story next to the hotel. £8/£9 per night. Shopping centre is next to the car park. Room and hotel very good. Lifts very fast so no waiting around. Breakfast is on the top floor and has a great view.

Very convenient location for Theatre & shopping centre with large multi-storey car park right next door. Hotel was clean & views amazing, especially from the sky bar & restaurant on the 14th floor. Would definitely stay there again.

new built hotel. Did what you need a Hotel to do. Modern well presented Hotel. Great staff and a good location. Great breakfast, well worth trying the bar.

This is a great place to stay for a theatre weekend. We are always very comfortable and enjoy our stay. The theatre is two minutes walk away and there is also a great shopping centre there.

Reception were great, but unfortunately the bar staff in roof top bar need some basic customer service training asap, glasses in room were filthy, very comfy bed and pillows, room service breakfast menu a bit of a joke. Don’t think I’d ever stay again purely just from how we were treated by the roof top bar staff, shame as everybody else seemed helpful.

Overall a great modern hotel, clean & very comfortable (we had a family room with a super king & a sofa bed). The room was really quiet with lovely views across to the park/lake. Sadly lost 1 star as the gluten free breakfast choice was poor - no pastries/biscuits/muffins or even hot chocolate - Toast, Rice crispies, Fruit & some of the cooked English breakfast buffet items that were GF anyway. Our youngest is coeliac & I had notified the hotel upon booking - whilst there is never the same amount of choice I felt the extensive range that was available for non GF they could have least offered some sort of pastry/biscuit etc.

breakfast too 50 minuets, there was no sausages, bacon, hash browns scrambled eggs, stood waiting 25 minuets while the chef cooked replacement self serve breakfast, when they did arrive was way too hot, too hot to eat. because of this it impacted my day been late for a meeting. avoid breakfast at this hotel, Was also no plates and tea spoons avaible.

Lovely location to the centre. Shame about the restaurant. They are so close to making it good but its not quite there yet. They have a Scollop and Langoustine Pasta and the chef does not know the difference between that and a prawn. The dish is served with prawns, we went a seccond night and our friends wanted this dish. We specifically asked yhe waitress to ask the chef if it was Langoustine or Prawn and she came back confirming it was Langoustine but yet again served Prawns. Also similar issue with the drinks. Your not serving what you have advertised

We only stayed one night in a twin room on the 2nd floor.It was clean comfortable and quiet.We did not eat at the restaurant but had drinks in the Sky Bar before going out to dine then had drinks with friends on our return.The cocktails were £14.50 and really not anything special so would not have them again.

Lovely night away, room was on the small side, but still lovely. Would have been nice to have a table and couple Of chairs right by the big window. Also the corner of the bathroom door and skirting by the shower was peeling due to wetness from shower. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and the cocktails in bar, even though pricey at £14.50 are amazing.

Fabulous location. Don’t bother with the breakfast - online it’s £10 pp, when you check in, they charge £15 and deny the £10 is an option! Actual breakfast wasn’t worth it. Coffee is good, fruit is good, cooked breakfast was very overcooked and inedible. Pastries were hard and dry. Shame, stunning views.

Where do i start. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly…..Restaurant & Bar staff were unhelpful, unknowledgeable and slightly dirty looking (With the exception of a few of the ladies) Unclean clothing, hair needing a good wash etc. 1st day the bar man held my wine glass whilst washing up bits in the sink..i then requested a clean glass..he said it was clean and i then said it had been on a tour of the bar in his hand and the sink and was splashed with sink water..The restaurant food was very nicely cooked and the steak was well rested but the food was cold. The staff are unaware of the wines on the list and have no idea where they are from…The food prices were that of a Michelin star restaurant..£25 for a standard burger and fries. Over £45 for a fillet steak we put cash down at the end of the meal and was told they didn’t accept cash only card..we said in that case to put it on our room we were staying in. They could not do either. We walked back to our room and the bar manager came down and took the cash as it was only taken as a last resort…cash could have just been taken!!! The following day in the afternoon we went up to the bar and were told they couldn’t put our drinks on a tab..even though they had that morning..after speaking to the bar man we were told they could put our drinks on a tab…. We had left our room at 10.30 in the morning, removed the do not disturb sign which the cleaner saw….later that afternoon we returned to find our room unmade.
