Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Midtown

Parking in the parking deck, $45 on top of our already pricier rooms. This felt like a last minute nickel-dime tactic. The room was not stocked for 2 guests despite being a double queen room, no creamer- only one regular coffee pod. The space was clean and linens were nice. Showers were nice. My main lasting disappointment is with the front desk clerk on check in. She seemed irritated with the sight of guests, she was not very pleasant with my question about parking, and the hotels.com site registered my rooms under my name and also my husbands- this is an average mix-up that I do not blame Marriott or hotels for, however I do not like the attitude that I was given when I was asking about the 2 different $50 fees- instead of my $50 fee being on one transaction I was charged two $50 fees as if I had made 2 transactions. My receipt from hotels.com was for 2 rooms under 1 transaction, but again, on arrival these appeared as 2 separate transactions. The clerk working the desk seemed to feel that I was incompetent or that she was without any concern or information to offer me. She was quite dismissive. I would stay again, but want to leave an honest review. This was a family trip that we have been looking forward to and anyone hates for staff to make guests feel like they are an inconvenience. I work in healthcare and am in service to our patients and 46 employees daily, I do understand. I hope she was only having a rough afternoon and this was an isolated event.

The key cards were not working. Someone from the front desk had to walk put you on the elevator and take you to your room, with every entrance. The staff was great, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would recommend after key cards issues are fixed.

It was very nice having the parking garage connected to the hotel for easy access to and from. It was extremely clean environment and the staff was courteous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is very close to the Fox and great restaurants. The staff is great from check in to a nightcap at the bar. Very clean

Due to a mechanical issue , keys for rooms were not working . We had to be escorted to elevators and rooms the entire stay. A very bad inconvenience. Unacceptable at the price we paid

Comfortable bed. Great view from 9th floor room. Convenient to our event. Lack of amenities. We were looking for a nightcap on return from our event, but bar was closed (closed at 10:00). Starbucks on premises was little more than a small kiosk. It offered eggs for breakfast at the outrageous price of $15. On site parking was exorbitant, and was more than nearby lots.

The check in and check out is superb. The room is comfortable and convenient to all amenities of downtown Atlanta. The parking situation for guests is not good. In fact it is horrible especially on weekends when there is an event at The Fox. The owners of the parking garage and the managers of the parking service need to do a better job of considering hotel patrons who have prepaid parking. On weekends when the shows have a matinee and even g performance, hotel guests have about 2.5 hour window to get a car into the garage. I would be delighted to speak with the garage management about a solution.

Great place and very convenient. The parking situation is a big downside. $32 dollars to park per day when you paid over $200 per night for a room is wild to me. Idc if is Atl. The staff was friendly for the most part. The gentleman that checked us in was very kind and professional.

Very clean and convenient to Fox Theatre. Only complaint was the coffee shop where there was only one person who was working as hard as she could. After waiting about 7 minutes for my turn, found out the coffee steamer was not working. Had to walk down the street to get my cappuccino.

The staff did very well despite being under staffed and having to deal with annoyed clients. Apparently rooms were not ready for check in at 4 or 5 or 5:30. The carpet in our room was very damp as if large areas were spot cleaned. The fridge had previous clients opened beverages inside. But the staff was very friendly and as previously mentioned, understaffed.

Overall a great stay, but did wake up to a cockroach next to me head.

Excellent place to stay! Loved how close it was to the Fox, the rooms were dark, and cold! The only thing I thought could be better was the hallways - they were a bit stuffy and had “old” smell to them.

I overall really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The manager Kaeon was very helpful when we encountered an issue upon check-in. The hotel doesn’t have room service, but there is a restaurant on the first floor. I would give it five stars but our room was halfway cleaned the first day and didn’t get cleaned until after 4 pm the second day. Only one bed was made and the toilet wasn’t cleaned either.

Hotel was great and close to everything we needed. Felt very up to date. Only taking an are off because the shower had curly black hair on the sides and in the floor of the shower.

We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we’re in Atlanta. Easy quick check-in. The room was super clean and esthetic. Parking deck had elevator access to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional.

The rooms were clean. We stayed overnight on our way to Orlando. The beds were comfortable, some of the USB ports didnt work,but that was okay.

I booked the two queen room well in advance however when I reached I was told that there was overbooking and no room with two queen beds was available for us. We were given a suite with a king bed and a sofa (it wasn't a pull out sofa as they told us). Though it had more space, my daughter had to sleep on the sofa and she was not too happy about it. The three stars is only for the inconvenience.

the beds were extremely soft and so were the pillows. i slept on the floor 2 of the 4 days just so my back would not hurt in the morning. for almost $200/night i would of expected more. very disappointed.

I booked two twin beds in the room, but the room was too noisy that came from outside of the window, so I had to change the room twice. The phone in my room didn’t work. Also, I had to stay in a smaller single bed room. I felt it is unfair.

We rented the king suite. The living room area was large with L shaped sofa and large tv. Had giant kitchen -work area. Nice layout

Our view left something to be desired. We were in Room 704 and we only had a view of something mechanical on the roof. That being said, your staff was wonderful and the pillows on the beds are fantastic!

My card was overcharged by nearly $600 during my stay. I was told no managers were available each day I went to ask the front desk for help. I was given an email to email 2 separate managers and both of the emails bounced. The hotel doesn't know how this happened and has been unhelpful in the resolution. The rooms were just barely cleaned and very small. For as much as you pay for reservations here there is no complimentary anything, not even breakfast. Not worth the headache or the stay.

Saturday 03-09-24 worst night we ever have… We were with our kids and we can’t sleep because at around midnight the next room was making lot it noise (having sex) my wife decided to call to the front desk but they didn’t do anything to avoid this,around 1:00am she went downstairs and keep complaining about the inconvenience but they answered was that maybe she was upset because the type of noise,but if it was another noise,maybe she doesn’t complaints about it..thats was not respectful answer..They said security was on the floor but that’s mot true,because my wife was outside waiting for them and nobody showed.. she explain that we are there to rest well not to hear that type pf noise,that’s not a motel. The noise finish at 4:30am..that’s unacceptable….

The Staff Members were AMAZING! Gibraan, Kelyn, Lance, Clarence, Lamont, and Cathy’s level of kindness, professionalism, and Customer Service is THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD at a Hotel! Because of them I will stay here whenever I come to Atlanta! Please let them know that I said this about them! They deserve the recognition! Many thanks to them!

Fantastic staff and fantastic stay! This was my second stay in 6 months. Quiet, clean, easy, and friendly. Our shower head was loose and water sprayed quite a bit out into the toilet and floor, but after informing the front desk, he gave us a discount and was very attentive to it noting it would be fixed.

We had a very fine stay in Atlanta, but due to an illness we needed to extend our stay one day. The staff was terrific in accommodating us and allowing us to remain in the same room. This is why we choose to return to The Courtyard for our trips to Atlanta.

Hotel canceled my reservation despite receiving payment and confirmation a month prior. When I arrived at the hotel around midnight, the hotel staff was extremely rude and made zero effort to make any accommodation or even give an apology. I was left stranded in downtown Atlanta. Would avoid this hotel at all cost!

I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and unfortunately, it was not the relaxing experience I had hoped for. Upon checking in, I discovered that the television in my room wasn’t working. I called the front desk, and maintenance was sent up promptly—which I appreciated—but after they “fixed” it, the TV still didn’t work. I called again to report the issue, but nothing was done after that. So, I ended up spending my entire one-night stay without a working TV, which was especially frustrating as I was hoping to unwind. After returning home, I called the hotel to discuss the issue and hopefully speak with a manager. However, I’ve been bounced around from department to department with no resolution or follow-up. It’s extremely disappointing that no one seems willing to take responsibility or even offer a simple apology.

Every staff member I encountered during my entire stay was pleasant and helpful.

I highly recommend this property!! Day and night the staff were exceptional! Lamont, Officer Evans, the gentleman that was there during the day both days (I wish I’d have gotten his name), and Mrs.Arlene at the Starbucks counter were all more pleasant than I can explain! The were professional, friendly, and positive. They made sure we felt at home and were taken care of. My family and I have found us a new place to stay any time we go to Atlanta. The property was both clean and safe, which are very important characteristics in a hotel. Definitely give them a try!

Perfect location for mid town!

Amazing location, right across the theater and many restaurants; super walkable.

Location was perfect. Close to the Marta station, restaurant and bars. Walking distance to Central Park where the music festival was held. Friendly and helpful staff.

Convenient location to dining and Midtown night life.

We had a great stat at this Hotel in Midtown. Good service and close to many restaurants. Easy to Park in the parkinggarage in the same building

Went to the Fox Theater for a concert and this hotel was literally across the street. Staff was super friendly and hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Extremely disappointed in having to pay for parking and breakfast. These are 2 things I’ve been offered for FREE at just as nice and MUCH LESS expensive hotels. The room was not nice enough to charge for parking and not include breakfast.

The only things i didn't like is no breakfast. When i book was said is free breakfast is kind upside me not telling the hold truth online. But overall i thanks all the staff for amazing communication. 👏

We did not have the breakfast. Staff was very nice. We did eat in the bar. Food was good not excellent.

Great place to stay. Don’t take long to check in and the deposit is cheap hell even the room cheap to me. Also the ladies at the restaurant the once room was on point great food n drinks and some really beautiful women. This my go to hotel for now on IG atl.

The hotel itself was a fine overnight stay. The breakfast was a disappointment. Went to get coffee at 8:30. The tables were not kept clean and the coffee area was not supplied with the basics like sugar. Hardly any fruit and the baked goods were pretty much gone.
