The price was good. The motel was a little hard to get to. There was a lot of noise outside our room. The lobby smelled of bleach. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Stayed 2 nights, room was great, bed was comfortable. There was a spider in the shower when I arrived, not to worry..I killed it:) Free breakfast was awesome! My only complaint, they need fix the ice machine on the 2nd floor, guess that isn't a complaint, just an inconvenience:)

I understand they have been remodeling this motel. Very spacious rooms and very clean. However, being on the second floor, you had to go down 2 flights of back steps to get to breakfast. I would have thought it would have been built less confusing. Breakfast was ok; but not a big choice. Maybe they are still working on that??

Terrible hotel choice. No elevator to room, seems to be under construction. Hotel clerk was not visible for quite awhile to check us in. We had to wait for her to show up.Terrible lobby, disorganized, no breakfast as advertised. Do not stay here.

The front desk person was very curt, and quite deliberate in his check-in procedure. I did not enjoy our encounter. I asked if there was an elevator and was told, 'no, they're outside entrances'. I'll figure it out, no problem. Then he told me 'oh by the way, DirecTV has dropped all of the broadcast channels so we don't have ABC, CBS, NBC, (and apparently ESPN or Fox Sports, CNN, FoxNews, etc). After standing outside in a dustbowl all day, all I wanted was a shower. Thankfully, that wasn't terrible (although the tub floor was very slippery and I was CERTAIN I was going to fall). Room was cool. Bed was clean. Floor was like a vinyl plank type, which was fine. At least it's easier to clean, hopefully.

The sheets on one of the beds were dirty…food crumbs, dirt and hairs. The front desk clerk quickly came and changed the sheets and was very nice about it. The floor behind the toilet was also dirty and a dead spider was on the toilet tank. The property overall was in good shape, just not clean.

Traveling though stopped for one night. Already booked room before arrival but still took 22 minutes to check in. Room was in poor condition. It had not been cleaned it seemed but the beds looked to be changed and made (I hope) The sink was dirty, there was pet hair and footprints all over the dirty floor showing it had not been cleaned. There was maybe 6 rooms occupied with the rest being vacant so I’m not sure why getting an uncleaned room would even be an option at 10pm. The lobby was dirty with stained furniture. Breakfast was sub par. Slept for a few hours and hit the road. Won’t be staying here again.

Stayed one night. Was on the interstate side very noisy. Door was not sealed very good. Needs some sound proofing between rooms also. One roll of tp no extra left in room(3 people in room) . Not all lights worked, surge protectors overloaded For the price I paid for one night, it was good enough. But no way would I pay $160/night I’d go down the road further.

The hotel was fine for a place to crash. Our biggest issue was that our AC did not work, and when we called the front desk to tell them they didn’t really seem to care and didn’t offer any solution just a “sorry”. The other strange thing is we only got about 10 very random cable channels.

Solid, clean, comfortable hotel for a stop over sleep during a long road trip. The only concern was the deadbolt was what looked like broken off and missing which made for a wary traveler, but I was too tired to change rooms so I just put a chair in front of the door. Otherwise great room, convenient location.

Front desk lady was nice, room was clean, water was hot. Freeway was noisy. Excellent tv channels. Definitely needs some updating, could actually be a nice place if someone spent some money. You would get your money back, buy full capacity and raising the price $20, and still be lower than the other hotels.

The hotel was full the weekend we were there, but it was very quiet. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The one GIANT problem was the lack of staffing. There was only one person at check in, and we had to wait until almost 4:00 to check in because the room wasn’t ready. We never saw anyone manning the breakfast area. At check out, we had to call a phone number to have someone come to the desk to help us get a receipt, They need to hire some people, seriously. I would absolutely stay here again, but I hope they work out this staffing issue.

The manager was very helpful. It was dark and isolated outside where my room entry hall was. I phoned the front desk to assure I had the correct outside door “B”, and told him my concerns. He offered to come escort me from my car to my room, which he did. He refused a tip. That he as the highlight of my entire trip from Florida to Ohio b

My associate and I stayed out until 3AM and were looking forward to crashing, but out of the blue my door card didn't work. A minor inconvenience, except that there was no one at the desk. I beat on the bell, shout "hello?" several times, and then I notice a sign saying we're cleaning rooms and to call this number to let us know you're waiting. I called it 8 times, listening to it ring approximately 4 feet from me - no answer. Fortunately my associate was noticed sitting in the hallway, waiting for me to come back with a working key by a cleaning lady. With total disregard for security protocol, see unlocked the door for him. I was called and told to come on up. Turns out that the cleaning lady was the manager. The manager was cleaning rooms at 3AM, leaving the desk completely unattended. Why do you have your managers cleaning rooms - and at 3AM no less? Why do you not keep the front desk staffed? It is infuriating for your key to not work and you have to spend 30 minutes wasting your time to get it unlocked. I was so spun up that I could not get my required 4 hours of sleep before checking out. In turn, I booked another night as I was too tired to drive.

Rooms have been renovated and they are the in good shape. Breakfast did not exist. And the number 1 reason for low score was the customer service we receive. I booked with expedia, pre paid, I called on to let them now i am paying Friday night so i can checking on Saturday morning we will be driving all night from Tennessee. Still got there and Tammy de FD agent tell me that i need to call expedia because i was a no show. I said no i am not calling charge the no show to the expedia card and check me in for my one night. (Mind you i am a FD supervisor) i took ker about 20 to check us in. Please train you staff, in customer service.

Nothing was satisfactory. First room had not been cleaned. Second room, the TV had no service, towels and toilet paper were needed. Staff took 2.5 hours to check out the problem, after going to the desk several times to ask about the issues.

The staff was extremly helpful and informative despite it being a very buesy weekend for them. Upon arrivial they even provided us with themed cookies and other goodies for the 'Mothman Festival." On the flipside though they used this influx of guests as an excuse of why our room was never cleaned durring our stay. We were met with attitude when we asked for replacement clean towels and even found staining on one of our comforters which when addressed was also met with attitude. Was a conviant and comfortable place to stay, just wish it was a little cleaner and better staffed.

The hotel was full the weekend we were there, but it was very quiet. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The one GIANT problem was the lack of staffing. There was only one person at check in, and we had to wait until almost 4:00 to check in because the room wasn’t ready. We never saw anyone manning the breakfast area. At check out, we had to call a phone number to have someone come to the desk to help us get a receipt, They need to hire some people, seriously. I would absolutely stay here again, but I hope they work out this staffing issue.

The hotel was just ok. Could smell alot of smoke from people smoking outside room. Floor was not very clean at all. The staff was nice, helpful when I had questions.

Stayed one night. Was on the interstate side very noisy. Door was not sealed very good. Needs some sound proofing between rooms also. One roll of tp no extra left in room(3 people in room) . Not all lights worked, surge protectors overloaded For the price I paid for one night, it was good enough. But no way would I pay $160/night I’d go down the road further.

Very convenient location just off the Interstate exit. Just a short drive to the quaint downtown Ripley, WV area with small local shops and eateries. Very economical for your traveling budget.

Solid, clean, comfortable hotel for a stop over sleep during a long road trip. The only concern was the deadbolt was what looked like broken off and missing which made for a wary traveler, but I was too tired to change rooms so I just put a chair in front of the door. Otherwise great room, convenient location.

Its not really around much but i felt safe and it was a very clean room. Breakfast was pretty okay, i thought there would be more when he said eggs but they were just boiled eggs but they did have waffles and toast and yogurt and some basic cereal. The front desk guy was nice but i was kind of annoyed i needed to move my car to an actual parking spot to check in for 2 minutes...doing the most..but w.e.

I was pleasantly surprised. It still has the old econolodge sign up but it has been completely remodeled. Everything in the room was new and it smelled like a new house. The area is very safe, I grew up nearby so I can say that with certainty.

Front desk lady was nice, room was clean, water was hot. Freeway was noisy. Excellent tv channels. Definitely needs some updating, could actually be a nice place if someone spent some money. You would get your money back, buy full capacity and raising the price $20, and still be lower than the other hotels.

The first day there i had no hot water. It was fixed by evening. I thought there was a variety of hot breakfast options and there wasnt. No tv guide in room. Nothing telling wifi password. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I have stayed here before and seeing the remodel, it was nice. It still has some areas of improvement but overlall it was better. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. Could have used better towels. Also there wasn't much for breakfast. All pre packed items. Overall would stay again

Hotel convenient to freeway. Small repairs needed in room. Continental breakfast supply and food exhausted by 7:30am. Reservation easy to make, checkin and checkout went well.

I understand they have been remodeling this motel. Very spacious rooms and very clean. However, being on the second floor, you had to go down 2 flights of back steps to get to breakfast. I would have thought it would have been built less confusing. Breakfast was ok; but not a big choice. Maybe they are still working on that??

Do not plan on having a nice, free breakfast here. They had whole grain pop tarts, coffee, and oatmeal. Other than that everything was nice. We had an updated room that was missing a light switch cover and the sink faucet was extremely loud. You get what you pay for, but with limited choices in the area I would recommend

The lobby had a bad smell. Room was clean but had no toilet paper holder and one of the towels was very threadbare. Breakfast was not hot and fresh as described on the card in the room. There were a couple of chocolate milks and boiled eggs. No cereal, milk, orange juice, yogurt, fruit, or waffles(waffle maker was turned towards the wall)

At first I was a little leery as there were absolutely no other cars when we got there - all of the window dressings were open so no occupants? lol Room was clean, smelled even cleaner, fairly updated. After returning from dinner, there were CARS!!! Beds were really comfortable - great after flying all day and then having to drive in from Columbus. Next morning, breakfast was really good. Only a handful of ppl at the hotel but waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels and cereal - we left full. Although fruit would’ve been an added bonus. Emily at the front desk was very nice. We stayed in room 116. 2 nights. Very affordable. Would def stay again.

My family of four stopped here for a very quick rest after a long day of driving. We got in at midnight. Lobby staff was very pleasant and kind. The room, while recently renovated, was not well maintained. It smelled of mold and mildew. It was very damp in the room, with a Damprid product sitting right in the closet. The window was leaking, with obvious signs of water damage around the frame and surrounding wall. Beds weren't bad, but bedding felt damp from the moisture in the room. I'm glad we were only here for a quick few hours of sleep before hitting the road again. The free breakfast was passable, but the juice dispenser was covered in gnats, and there were a lot of bugs on the floors around the food counters. Worked for what we needed - a quick, cheap stop, but I was not pleased with the air quality and cleanliness,
