Suburban Studios Milwaukee Airport

The room was nice. The deposit was not notified before stay. Ice machines didn’t work. They didn’t not change out towels or trash when specified that they clean daily.

Not sure how this place had 4 and 5 star reviews when I was looking for a place to stay. Long story short- for real... DO NOT STAY. DO NOT BE LIKE ME trying to save 50 per night. Pay it. I travel a lot! for some reason, i chose this place for a Sun-Thursday stay and I turned that quickly to Tuesday departure. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. moved to the holiday inn around the corner. This is NOT a hotel, this is an extended stay - and leave it off the title of the listing. It's dirty from the moment you walk in. I immediately knew I EFFED up. Should've left then. Floors, elevator, lobby- filthy. Hallways smell like smoke. Got a lecture about not smoking in the room at check in or it would be $100. Had cig smoke seeping through my bathroom vent the whole time. Hallways reek of smoke. No carpet in rooms, bed moves when you walk past it- not secured to anything. Cheapest pillows you could by- about the same thickness as airport pillows but bigger. NO FACE TOWELS. Huh? I actually had soap with me, but NO SOAP in the bathroom? Had to work on this trip- virtually from the room while there, one hard/metal chair to sit. The shuttle was some random private taxi who was 30 minutes late picking me up. No convienience store, place to eat, vending machine etc- the only thing that's really walkable is the mcdonalds across the street. Coffee in the morning was cold? Again, i left after the second night. Terrible. They should be ashamed of themselves.

It was clean, not real friendly but that may come down to a cultural thing, no soap, no shampoo, 2 towels on arrival, no ice bucket, only 2 plastic cups. Ice machine plugged in but on off cycle. Had to ask for ice bucket which they gave me a bag, then no ice which they new it was not working...had to request a large towel, hand towel and wash cloth and soap and shampoo. Told no conditioner at all. So take note if you need to condition hair. Cleaning staff was very good and brought me the items I needed and even knocked and asked if I needed towels. Very nice. Beds are not that comfortable but ok and are on metal frames that move and make noise. Pillows are very lumpy and not very comfortable. No coffe pot either. No cooking wear, plates etc... you have to purchase them which is not stated anywhere in booking that I could find. Room was set on 60 degrees when I walked in. Hallways are warm. Felt uncomfortable once in elevator w a guest that was asking if I stayed there and where. Kinda creepy. Room was clean. Large refrigerator is a big plus. TV is a mess to figure out. Gave up. Also the front desk called me at 10:43am on check out asking if I wanted to extend my stay. Never had that before. Left a tip for cleaning staff. I stayed in the Suburban Studios side. Hotel guests were noisy. Can pretty much hear everything.

Location of hotel is very convenientamd the staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel appears to be undergoing some refresh/updating. The floor in the room needed a good mopping but the rest of the room was fairly clean. Note the hotel does rent rooms for the week so there was some limited cooking aromas wafting through the hallways and the normal family noise you could expect living their lives.

The front desk couldn’t get us checked in, even though I paid months in advance, waited in the lobby for 30 minutes missed part of the concert that we drove there for and still never got a resolution finally gave us keys to the room and said his manager will figure it out. I paid $85 for a room through hotels.com and needed to upgrade to a double bed and they wanted to charge me 95 extra dollars. We found bugs on the pillows and they don’t even serve breakfast, the pool was out of service definitely not worth over maybe $70 for one room for one night not worth the price and very sketchy neighborhood.

Parking was horrible but air conditioning and heat was good

Right off of the freeway. Someone spilled a soda in the lobby and they didn't bother cleaning it up properly

Reasons for my review: 1. Checking in wasn’t the easiest when the lady at the front desk couldn’t really speak English.. 2. We walk into our room and the couch is dirty with stains on it. 3. Shower floor is dirty as well. Gross. 4. The entire place smells like old pasta water or something. Not pleasant. 5. The ice maker for the hotel is broken.. the entire time. 6. The elevator was SUPER slow and ended up having a “use other elevator on the other side of building” sign on it… like what?! 7. Mirror in the bedroom had something smeared all over it. 8. There was a party happening in the basement of the hotel on Saturday and you could hear it from the second floor.. no noise level was ever controlled. Building seems hollow. 9. Couldn’t sit on the bed to watch tv without the entire bed moving away from the wall. 10. Might as well have not given us pillows; they were so flat they were almost nonexistent. Had to go buy some. 11. One bedside table outlet in the bedroom did not work. The light nor the outlet. 12. No exhaust fan in the bathroom which creates a lot of moisture in there. 13. Cannot even shower without getting the bathroom floor soaking wet since the shower has nothing keeping the water contained. 14. The carbon monoxide detector was removed from the room and just missing. I realize it’s not gas cooking but if it was installed at one point; then it should be present in the hotel rooms. 15. Unsafe feeling at night with those that hangout outside the door..

The staff and the room was great. The only thing is that the back door was constantly propped open and anyone could of walk in the building. We came back late and the parking lot was very well lit but again, the back door was open. It looked like the lock did not work properly.

The large rooms were a little awkward but they served their purpose. The fire alarm kept beeping, but I slept through it.

There was a stench in the room and hallway, the door wall lock was busted and didn’t work, made me feel very uncomfortable. It said online that check in age was 18 and I get there and they say it’s 21, luckily my buddy was there otherwise I would’ve been out $95, overall I probably wouldn’t have stayed here had I looked into the reviews a little more.

It’s not a typical hotel. It’s like an empty apartment. No washcloths, hand towels, cups, ice buckets, notepads etc. Clean room and bedding. Broken shower rod. Smells of weed, boiled broccoli, and mildew. Check in front desk was rude but check out desk was very kind and professional.

Clean room

Check in counter too high. Could not see what I was signing. Hotel said was non smoking. When we entered room it smelled like cigarettes. Told front desk I wanted them to handle odor and need sheets and blankets for pull out couch. Could tell maintenance sprayed room but didn’t bring bedding. Then discovered not enough towels and wash cloths. Had to go to front desk to get. No cups to drink with or ice bucket

Had to check in late due to traveling with my husband and toddler. Got in around 1 am to check in. Got to the room across the hotel to have a dirty towel in the shower, a non-connected tv, and a phone in the room with no dial tone. Asked front desk to take care of it, tried asking me if I wanted to change rooms but my toddler was so fussy, I didn’t want us to have to move everything to a different area of the hotel; we had 3 suitcases and a car seat.

Room was spotless. Easy check in, quiet comfortable.

Super clean beautifully updated Beautifu spacious bathroom, huge rooms , dedicates work space with natural ligh I was initially apprehensive about the reviews and shocked at how nice the place is. Will definitly return I dont think the photos do it justic

The motel was clean and employees were friendly. Our neighbor were a little loud with talking and closing doors loud. We had 2 full beds in the room the one needs to be flipped or replace cause the bed curves down so you feel like your going to roll out of bed

The gentleman at the front desk was friendly. The beds were small. I was concerned about getting the security charge refunded, but it was refunded 5 days later.

Room was great

This hotel was ok. It was fine I just needed somewhere to sleep. Pillows are crappy and mattress was ehhhh. Idk if I would stay here again if I am ever in the area. If you need a cheap place to stay it’ll do.

The personal responsibility you take for the place gives the aire of a man who more than works for a place. You made my stay at your hotel a wonderful experience. I was hoping the negative reviews I saw on this property were not true. But alas, my husband stayed here when needed to visit a family member in the hospital. He arrived late (midnight) and the front desk worker didn't believe him that he had a reservation for the evening. Even though he had a confirmation from Expedia. He was forced to pay $100 at check-in that would be held for any "damages". They wouldn't refund this to him in the morning at checkout (8am) until the housekeeper cleaned his room that afternoon. There was light switches in the room that didn't work. The shower had no lip to it so he was worried about water going into the main room. He had to use towels as a dam to even take a shower that morning. This is not a hotel I would recommend someone staying at. Even if it's only for a short 8 hours....

Convenient location, didn't like having to pay for an additional charge for this room because other people are destructive. Was told I would be reimbursed. We shall see.

No in room coffee. No continental breakfast . Room was nice, clean. Un er supplied..(towels, water glasses) looked like recently remodeled but most likly would stay again
