Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa

Multiple coffee and other stains on walls of our room. Very basic room (no microwave, no safe). No space to open up our luggage. No breakfast option close by. No breakfast offered at the hotel. No space to sit down and eat our konbini purchases. Positive: we asked for them to change our shower curtained because it smelled and was stained, which they did the next day. We were to get a late check out for 1100 JPY for an extra hour. Basic complimentary coffee 24/7.

Laundry only 3kgs max capacity. 2 hrs and still not dry. Fortunately there are coin laundries around the hotel . Close to Sensoji Temple and transportation. Staff ok.

Enjoy this chain of hotel. Towels and water everyday. Staff is always polite and helpful. This location wasn't near a train station so it would take some time to roll luggage to. Walkable to many shops and restaurants but not that convenient tho. Free coffee. Pay laundry and 2 machines only.

Our stay was so smooth, with complete amenities, unlimited coffee and chocolate for kids. The cleanliness and service was excellent. Maybe you can add additional washing machine to cater more guests who will need to laundry their clothes.

Our room was small, as expected, but comfortable. Everything worked well. Water was hot and pressure was great in the bathroom. We received slippers and pajamas, and fresh towels every day. We were offered daily room service but declined that. There was a room with two wash+dry laundry machines, a drink vending machine, ice, and a coffee machine in the lobby, and black and green tea to make in the room, where there was a kettle. The staff was very friendly and helpful and came to our room to explain the climate controls. The hotel was very quiet and we slept well. The neighborhood is cute, and there is a large and beautiful temple complex quite nearby, as well as a Tokyo Metro station about 5 minute's walk away. Note that that laundry machine takes either 1h20m or 2h0m depending on load size, so plan ahead, as others will be using the machines too! You'll want to use the dryer: We has trouble getting things dry without it.

Very responsive staff who are accustomed to working with English-speaking guests. Our room was very, very small. Much better for a single traveler. Even though the bathroom is small, it is very efficiently designed including a heated section of the mirror that doesn’t fog up during a shower. Coffee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby is a nice perk. Coin-op laundry is very convenient especially since the soap is built-in to the machine. Attached coffee shop is only open 11:00-18:00 but there are 2 nice coffee shops 2 blocks away. Very close to the Senso-ji (temple), shopping/restaurant district, train station and Sky Tree.

Everything about this hotel is amazing. They would provide new towels, pajamas and 2 water bottle (since we are only 2 pax in the room) on a daily basis. When you asked them to clean the room, you go back and all is neat. There is unlimited coffee and hot choco in the lobby. There is laundy area on the second floor with vending machine and free ice. YOu can even use the microwave here.

We booked two types of room. Both have their own pros and cons. Deluxe room comes with double bed, and bigger toilet room, toilet bowl size is good for big size people. Whereas the twin bed room comes with two twin bed which can be combined, but the toilet is smaller, and toilet bowl is small for big size people. Generally all staffs are polite and attentive to your needs. Just a minor incident in one morning when trying to communicate to a male receptionist who did not seem patient when I was communicating on a missing item which I would like to locate, thankfully the housekeeping was able to resolve it.

Staff was very nice and efficient at check in, bed and room size was good, bathroom facilities new and unique. I appreciate the little mini fridge. The point lost is in cleanliness is because, the walls in the room could use washing because there are coffee and drink drips on them which makes it look dirty, and the same for the Elevator doors, they need to be wiped clean and disinfected.

Everything was fine except for the carpet which had a bad smell. I would recommend a thorough cleaning more often.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, first thought was the room is very small, which is standard for Tokyo hotels but worth mentioning However our bathroom didn’t feel that clean- we found a hair in the bathroom and scummy stuff under the sink We told the reception , the staff were very nice and apologetic and said they would deep clean the room for us and they gave us a larger room for a few days of our stay The washing machine situation isn’t great - 2 machines for the whole hotel, we found they were always being used so had to wait ages to be able to use it which eats into your day Other than that the staff were really friendly, there is a free dens machine which we got coffee from everyday Location is great- 10 minute walk to asakusa station

Zimmer war dreckig und nicht sauber. Zudem war die Zimmerausstattung sehr alt.

駅から少し歩くが、施設は新しく清潔で気に入っているので、リピートの利用でした。 今回残念だったのは、シャワーカーテンのカビと匂い、浴室の通気口に溜まった埃です。それ以外は気になるところもなく、清潔で、申し分ない滞在ができました。

Weird smell coming from bathrooms and found bed bugs in the bed. The staff were very nice and helpful - but we ended up moving to a different hotel as this is not acceptable.

浴室の水捌けが非常に悪く、特に洗面台はすぐに溢れそうになって大変な思いをしました。 それと浴室に入った瞬間シャワーカーテンの生乾き臭が強烈でした。 清掃スタッフの質にかなり問題がありますね。 浴室以外はとても満足のいく内容でした。 フロント対応はとても良かったです。

Chambre japonaise acec entrée lumineuse au sol qui ne s'éteint pas pour une question de sécurité (l'hôtel a peur que le client tombe du au tout petit espace entre le lit et la marche. ) Pas de volet au fenêtres non plus. Des le petit jour vous êtes réveillé. N'a pu dormir ni la nuit, ni le matin...

The room & toilet is very small, there was no place to open a luggage. No storage (dresser) to put your stuff. They should have put some coat hangers on the wall. Staff is excellent.

Excellent amenities, comfortable bed and super clean. The Standard double room is small and was great for 1 person. Not sure how 2 people would manage with the lack of space and storage for more than one piece of luggage.

Rooms are very small… but whatever! You don’t spend much time in the room.

Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig. Alles war sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Lage war perfekt. Wir konnten von dort aus alles machen. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir wieder!

The check in process was really helpful and smooth. Hotel is in a useful location and it was nice to have access to extra pillows and hot drinks. Probably the smallest room we stayed in during our time in Japan.

A localização é um pouco mais distante do metrô, apesar de ser bem próxima a algumas atrações de Asakusa. O quarto tem um bom tamanho, mas não tem janelas que silenciem a rua e a luz de led não apaga, nem durante a noite.

The Quad Room with 2 bunk beds is perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teenagers). Room is very clean and front desk service is excellent.

We had an amazing stay at Tosei Hotel COCONE Asakusa! The staff was extremely helpful with the luggage forwarding service and even called my previous hotel to help me find headphones I had left behind. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Japan!

Staff are nice and did a great job when doing house keeping. The front desk also helped us book a trusted taxi to the airport.

The staff was amazing so the room great and perfect size for me and my brother to stay. It is located in a perfect location to explore and shop. Did I mention that the staff was amazing and so welcoming 10 out of 10 service

Very professional and friendly staff

We are a couple with a 1year old baby. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The bed was a double bed which was a tight fit for all 3 of us but we managed. But if you’re really tall or bigger-sized, it’ll be good to get a different room. Location was perfect for us because it was near restaurants that we like and quite near to the temple and the train station. The only major complaint we have is the check out experience. We were ready to go but just a few minutes before the checkout time, my baby fussed big time and needed some care. I called the counter to ask if we could have 5-10min just to settle our baby. But we were rudely shot down and the staff firmly said we need to be out by 10am. They even called us at 10am (all this was happening while baby was crying) to pressure us to be out of the room. It left us with such an unpleasant feeling that this is not a baby-friendly place to stay in. We understand there is a need for us guests to comply to this out of respect for the hotel to be able to clean and prepare for the next guests. But shouldn’t there be some flexibility when you knowingly open up the hotel for families with young children that things like this will happen? We have travelled a lot with our baby and we’ve never had to ask for a longer (10min is long?) checkout but we’ve noticed that other hotels will tell us to take it easy during checkout because they understand kids will take time to settle. So disappointing.

Staff was very hospitable and helpful in cases where we needed assistance (requesting extra items and handling luggage delivery). The room was very clean and the hotel amenities like the washer/dryer came handy. Would stay here again!

Convenient location in Asakura for sightseeing. Ten minute walk to the metro station which is on a direct train stop from Narita airport.

Quiet neighborhood, good restaurant offer nearby, clean, safe. Metro station is 10 min walk. Very close to Meiji temple. Shops and convenient stores nearby. I would go back and I highly recommend it.

Clean, very professional staff, near almost every major Asakusa attraction. Only downside is there is no subway station nearby; about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the closest station. Tip: there are two Tosei Asakusa hotels; be sure to put in the appropriate address in Google Maps; do not input the name of the hotel.

We loved our stay in this property! The proximity to Sensoji Temple is definitely a plus. One negative thing is the crowd, though, this is expected. Proximity to convenience stores, Asakusa and Tawaramachi Metro Stations, is great. There are other hotels closer to the station, however, it is close enough even with elderly companion during our visit. Please ensure plenty of time if you travel with kids as well.

離最近的地鐵（都營)要走10分，路上會經過淺草寺，飯店設備挺新的，吹風機好用到我也買一隻，空間不大，29吋行李箱攤開就無法走路了,其實2張加大單人床並一起2大2小就夠了，3大人睡還能翻身!飯店門口有免費咖啡機，每天可以來一杯再出門！

A wonderful little hotel in a very quiet residential area. Staff is courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. Sensoji Temple is a very short 5 min walk, to the north end of the Temple area, bypassing most of the crowd. A 7Eleven is just a couple minutes away as are several cafes. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great service, staff, cleanliness and I really enjoyed the cafe next door. The Asakusa area is a very nice area to stay in and the Senso-ji temple is essentially right next door.
