Prima hotel. Wel zelf check in. Maar duidelijke instructies

L'hotel est vraiment proche de la gare de Milano Centrale. Je suis arrivée tard et partie tôt donc la réception etait fermée mais j'ai reçu toutes les informations pour une arrivée et un départ autonome.

Mycket fint rum och trevlig personal, men frukost ett kvarter bort, kort öppettid i receptionen, och det har tidigare brunnit i huset en våning under.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Central Station and the room itself was very clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciated being able to check in a couple hours early. However, having to carry bags up three long flights of stairs was something we hadn’t expected. We also were told we would receive a welcome gift and a welcome drink. The welcome drink was a bottle of water and the welcome gift was one piece of candy. Nice but not something I would advertise as a welcome gift and drink.

Be careful. This is not an Hotel, this is a hostel as best. I stayed at a hotel on the 3rd floor of an old building near the Milan train station, and it was a total disappointment. There is no reception desk, no staff on site, and no elevator. You must carry your luggage up three flights of stairs with no assistance. Communication is via a WhatsApp number, and when I asked for help with my bags, I was told that no one would assist me because shifts start at 10:00 am. The description on Expedia (and likely other listings) is misleading, giving the impression of a normal hotel stay with staff and services that simply do not exist. The overall experience was inconvenient, frustrating, and far from what I expected from a hotel. If you rely on traditional hotel amenities, this place will not meet your needs. I would strongly advise others to avoid it or to verify in advance that front desk service, elevator access, and luggage assistance are available.
