Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pleasanton

Lobby and hall way was very hot, they were having A/C problems.

We liked the breakfast and we liked being next to Wal-Mart for shopping. The only thing I didn't care for is the Ice Machine on first floor not working. The parking lot and trash cans had a lot of trash.

Dirty walls, dirty light fixtures, dirty baseboards, and (we assume) toothpaste on walls in the bathroom. The shower tap pulled off when i went to turn on the shower. Pink mold and green oxidation or mold on shower head. Bathroom floor had hair and dust all over the area arpund the toilet. Wall hook for towel hanging off the wall. Black mold spots on plastic shower curtain. They should be cloth, in my opinion. Window curtains stained with dark spots. The pool looked gross and dirty, but it was not marked as closed. I asked when we left if the pool was closed and they said yes. Cover it it keep it clean but allowing it to get filthy is unsightly and unprofessional.

After staying at "MyPlace" hotel this was inconvenient. I detest the little mini-fridge. the former has a full size refridgerater/freezer appliance. Also the parking is terrible for a full size pickup.

Horrible experience, first room had lots of mold, second room after i move rooms still had mold and scorpions and bugs!! Didn't even get my money back. I left and am currently sleeping in a Wataburger parking lot

We stayed at the hotel due to our grandmothers funeral. The shower had black mold all along the caulking which needs to be replaced . Our toilet did not flush and we had to be switched rooms . The bathroom fan on ceiling was black from all the dust that had never been cleaned … we stayed at this hotel because it had the best rating in Pleasanton. Will not be staying here in the future .

The sleeper sofa was broken in our room and the door latch to our roomdidn't work right

My wife and me stayed there with my kid, and we received great attention from the staff. We had a great time there. We are considering to go back if is possible on a future trip.

Terrible experience with this hotel booked via Hotels.com. We arrived at 10:20 PM and waited 15 minutes for someone to assist us. A man finally arrived and went to fetch two women who seemed to have never done a check-in before. They eventually told me that the room I paid for had been given to someone else but that they would upgrade me. 20 minutes later, another woman (more pleasant) arrived, started over from scratch, and reached the same conclusion but did not mention the upgrade. After making us wait for so long, we ended up going to a room, but it was not the one we had booked. I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Instead, it was just a regular room with a sofa bed. We went back down, it was 11:30 PM, and no solution was offered to us, and even a refund seemed impossible to them. After involving Hotels.com, the cancellation was finally processed correctly, it was past midnight, and we had to find another room… I forgot to mention: no manager could be called, the tone was aggressive, and they told Hotels.com that there would be penalties… in short, an experience far from what you would expect from this hotel!

Water would not get hot, room door had to be forced closed, desk attendant wasn’t very helpful and not very attentive (Stood at the front desk for several minutes and they never came out, so I left).
