The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing , along with the delicious gin and tonics with fruits. The staff were expecting me and the check in and check out was effortless. The showers were hot and the fixtures are designed for a full body wash. Thanks Luis and Liz

But the real highlight? The refreshing pool — perfect for unwinding. All this at a very affordable price makes it an easy favorite.

There was a friendly and inviting vibe. It is adults, males and females. A nice swimming pool and deck area, indoor and outdoor seating at the restaurant or up at the bar. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Was für eine Katastrophe! Gebuchtes Apartment war für die erste Nacht nicht verfügbar, ein kleines Zimmer bekommen ohne Fenster, dafür Frühstück gratis. Im Bad lauerte eine dicke Kakerlake in der Dusche auf uns. Am nächsten Tag das gebuchte größere Zimmer bekommen, da brach sofort das Bett ohne großes Zutun zusammen. Immerhin wurde es zusammengenagelt und hielt die zwei restlichen Nächte. Auch dort Kakerlake im Badezimmer. Vom Nebenraum kam dort Zigarettengeruch rein. Parken nur auf der Straße verfügbar.

The room and stay was great! Had own private entrance and cute patio. Liz was amazing! Omar is great as well!! Liz looked out for my every request and more. I stayed there for a few days with no problem. There is a bar and a kitchen on the property as well as a pool! The area is a few miles from downtown area and if you need to shop for groceries or eat at other restaurants, they’re all in walking distance from the hotel after hours the doors are locked but there was a person always at the counter to let me in. All the staff made me feel welcomed . I plan to come back soon!

When I arrived, the reception staff seemed confused, like they didn't realize I had a reservation and did not take time to explain or show me the property. When I got to the room it was missing many things: towels, a shower curtain, a key for the safe, hand/body soap and shampoo. The room also did not have a mini-fridge. The hotel bar plays loud music from around 8am to 1 or 2am, and the bass is audible throughout the hotel, making sleep difficult. Also there is nothing to do in the area where the hotel is located, and dining options are extremely limited.

The name isn’t what it suggests. It’s very seedy. Sheets weren’t clean, significant mould on the shower head. The people running the place were lovely and helpful, but for what you’re paying there’s loads of other places to go It’s a party place, not a put your head down and sleep place. Pretty poor honestly, wouldn’t recommend

Dont waste your money. Location- very deserted area, at night time felt unsafe to walk alone. Property- Pool area was very pretty. Bar area was clean. Room -Outdated rooms, terrible bathroom, rusted shower heads, lack of basic toiletries. Lighting in the room felt like we are in office. Restaurants- Nearby we found nice Italian restaurant , where food was delicious and owner was adorable. Staff- Staff was very helpful and sweet to attend needs.

I know times are hard, but a little TLC would go a long way as this place is dated! Horrible bright white bulbs (when some aren’t missing), broken lamps, Shower Gel holder empty, no toilet paper. Staff didn’t speak any English (and asked me to pay although I had paid through Expedia already), which is fine if you provide some information in English on a card or something. Wasn’t given the Wi-Fi password or any other information

The staff are incredibly friendly, and we met some nice folks staying there. The pool area and bar are lovely. Our room smelled moldy and was very outdated. We stood in 3” of water every time we showered, since it didn’t drain properly. The owner was not very nice and the place needs a severe upgrading. We would not stay there again.

There were holes in our towels. Stains on the sheets. Broken soap dispenser in shower (missing buttons). TV locked when got in room. Bed not comfortable. Hot water ran out. Neighboring rooms playing music all night.

The staff was helpful about anything I needed. They were so friendly and hospitable with suggestions for activities, shopping and dining. There was a festive atmosphere around the pool and quiet in my room. I’ve already planned a return visit.

Primero escogí pagar allá por si mis planes cambiaban no realizar el Viaje y al transcurso de unos días se me hizo el cargo en la tarjeta … Al llegar allá la habitación era demasiado pequeña y fea nos ofrecieron otra por 10 dlls más … así que desde ahí ya mermaron mi experiencia !

Primero escogí pagar allá por si mis planes cambiaban no realizar el Viaje y al transcurso de unos días se me hizo el cargo en la tarjeta … Al llegar allá la habitación era demasiado pequeña y fea nos ofrecieron otra por 10 dlls más … así que desde ahí ya mermaron mi experiencia !

They double charged me for my room on January 30 and the 31st. Alyssa or whatever the hell her name is came up to the room and told me that she would reimburse me as soon as Expedia contacted her. So I get a message that no they’re not going to honor that they made a huge mistake and will take my money of $186. The hotel wasn’t that great and I will never stay there again. This is the way they treat their customers.

Liz y Omar son excelentes anfitriones. Todo el personal es muy amable y atento. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El lugar es acogedor, volvería a hospedarme si vuelvo a Costa Rica.

Truly one of the best stays of my life. This is the kindest and most attentive hotel Ive ever had the privilege of visiting. The kindness of the owner only matched by the kindness of the staff. They helped me navigate language barriers and local establishments with ease. They are a shining example of why I love visiting Costa Rica. The unmatched kindness coupled with the beautifully maintained hotel make this absolute gem that I will revisit often.

The owners and most staff are friendly and helpful. Liz even arranged a private tour for me, since almost all tours require 2 tickets minimum to join, I don't know why?. I'm traveling solo... The private tour cost about the same as 1 ticket. When I wanted to move to a hotel downtown, Liz helped me get one in Central downtown, clean and affordable. If you are gay or just like quietness, this hotel is great for you and partner : Adults Only!!!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the minute i arrived (early check-in, as i was travelling from the South)The bartender/mixologist,Riccardo, was fab at his job,the chef,Carlos cooked the best food I've tasted in a long time(would put some of the chefs I've worked with in London to shame,and the gorgeous Christian made my stay very special. Just wish i could have stayed longer. Drag show on my last night was great fun.Love you Scarlett Fiora..Look forward to see you all next year(or sooner in Edinburgh Julio)Thanks soo much, Andrew

I know times are hard, but a little TLC would go a long way as this place is dated! Horrible bright white bulbs (when some aren’t missing), broken lamps, Shower Gel holder empty, no toilet paper. Staff didn’t speak any English (and asked me to pay although I had paid through Expedia already), which is fine if you provide some information in English on a card or something. Wasn’t given the Wi-Fi password or any other information

The room and stay was great! Had own private entrance and cute patio. Liz was amazing! Omar is great as well!! Liz looked out for my every request and more. I stayed there for a few days with no problem. There is a bar and a kitchen on the property as well as a pool! The area is a few miles from downtown area and if you need to shop for groceries or eat at other restaurants, they’re all in walking distance from the hotel after hours the doors are locked but there was a person always at the counter to let me in. All the staff made me feel welcomed . I plan to come back soon!

When I arrived, the reception staff seemed confused, like they didn't realize I had a reservation and did not take time to explain or show me the property. When I got to the room it was missing many things: towels, a shower curtain, a key for the safe, hand/body soap and shampoo. The room also did not have a mini-fridge. The hotel bar plays loud music from around 8am to 1 or 2am, and the bass is audible throughout the hotel, making sleep difficult. Also there is nothing to do in the area where the hotel is located, and dining options are extremely limited.

Dont waste your money. Location- very deserted area, at night time felt unsafe to walk alone. Property- Pool area was very pretty. Bar area was clean. Room -Outdated rooms, terrible bathroom, rusted shower heads, lack of basic toiletries. Lighting in the room felt like we are in office. Restaurants- Nearby we found nice Italian restaurant , where food was delicious and owner was adorable. Staff- Staff was very helpful and sweet to attend needs.

Overall great people and fun place to stay that is safe and quiet away from downtown San Jose. They were great to change my room to a nice one because the shower was dribbling in the smaller room that they received. But there is the problem, minor attention to detail. The shower pressure was fine, but the shower head (a small cost) needed to be replaced. Just small things like cups in the room are missing. But overall, great time!

Overall, it was an amazing experience and place to stay. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I also really liked the atmosphere. I wish it was a bit busier, but it was also nice having the peace and quiet. Could have more vegan options, but they did have some. Would definitely come back

We enjoyed our stay. We needed to check in early but the door was locked. We went to their website and used WhatsApp to send a message and someone responded right away and got us checked in. We only stayed 1 night, but from we experienced, I would come back again. Lis helped us out and was fantastic. The pool was ice cold, so we didn't swim. They have a restaurant on the property, so we were able to order dinner when we got back to the room that evening. I told the bartender that I needed to leave extremely early so I wanted to settle my bill. They were able to do that and also gave me a courtesy knock on my door to make sure I didn't oversleep and miss my flight.

Staff was amazing, super friendly. By far the best experience of the stay. Only had breakfast and it was good. Made at a moments notice. Wifi signal could be better, pool really needs a heater for the colder morning months. Neighborhood is super tranquil & quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

First of all, remember this is no longer a gay hotel. It is now “straight-friendly”, but it seems this change is handled quietly. Things you would expect such as bottle water in the room, water glasses for prescriptions in your room, shower soap are not found. Breakfast is not available until 8 am at an additional charge. If you’re planning on a quick start to your day, I’d make other plans. The staff was extremely friendly, but I did have a number of problems with my final bill. They were corrected, but it did take quite a bit of time to get the correct charges.

Not much amenities BUT the staff is absolutely amazing!!!! I will say being charges for coffee was a complete shock but again the staff removed my coffee charges ,they truly made me feel like they had known me for ever. This is a ltgbq resort witch I didnt know at time of booking . I beet very nice people no matter there choice in life. It is very far from things to do and see,about 200.00 us dollar cost to just about any attractions.and that is each way so rental car definitely recommended. I absolutely would stay there again as I am going back for a m9nth in 4 weeks and staying there again.
