Job and Gess have created a little oasis in town where you feel at home right away. They were very accommodating with food intolerances and we enjoyed the homemade breakfasts. The patio and dip pool are great! You have some stores, restaurants and cafés around and the town is near other bigger towns like Vélez-Málaga. Great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Encanto Guesthouse. The room was spacious and clean with lots of lovely extras. The facilities around the guesthouse were great too - we loved the roof terrace and the plunge pool but the snack station was also great. The hosts are amazing and always happy to help. They also make an awesome breakfast which was the highlight of every morning!

Encanto is a charming boutique hotel centrally located in Canillas de Aceituno. The owner provides excellent explanations and warm hospitality. The breakfast is delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable. Room 5, situated quietly in the courtyard, uniquely offers direct access to the pool. Overall, a wonderful place for a relaxing stay.

Absolutely lovely stay, very comfortable room and bed, lovely private terrace, this is a rustic guesthouse with lovely elements, little courtyard, breakfast room, great self check in, plunge pool was sadly empty as we would have loved a dip as it was hot but I assume it's out of season. All in all a very chilled and comfortable stay

Bien ubicado en el centro del pueblo. Es una antigua casa con varias habitaciones y el resto de dependencias de uso común. Tiene un patio interior donde te sirven el desayuno. En general está bastante bien y bien de precio. El dueño amable y atento. Por poner una pega , que requiere un poco de mantenimiento.

Lovely small hotel based in the centre of a lovely small town (Canillas de Aceituno). The Dutch owners were very friendly, always making sure we were OK and the breakfasts were amazing. Bargain price and had a good nights sleep every night, would recommend. No parking at the hotel, but managed to park nearby every day no issues... imagine it will be much more difficult in summer.

La estancia buena, la amabilidad de los propietarios es maravillosa, desayuno super rico, muy cerca de muchos lugares para comer, muy fácil a pie para ver el pueblo, tienen en la planta baja una mini piscina q es maravillosa para tomar el sol y refrescarte. Lo único así más negativo son las almohadas que son un poco incómodas y cuando duermes a pesar de tenerlo todo cerrado se escucha la gente de la calle.
La estancia buena, la amabilidad de los propietarios es maravillosa, desayuno super rico, muy cerca de muchos lugares para comer, muy fácil a pie para ver el pueblo, tienen en la planta baja una mini piscina q es maravillosa para tomar el sol y refrescarte. Lo mejor la variedad y calidad de los desayunos. Job super agradable y hospitalario. Incluso saliendo muy temprano, nos preparo algo de desayuno para llevar. La casa tiene una azotea muy agradable y en general es muy tranquila.

Estancia espectacular. Hotel con el encanto de lo antiguo pero con todas las comodidades necesarias. Los dueños del hotel no podian ser mas encantadores. El desayuno diario era siempre fresco, casero, y variaba cada dia. La atencion excelente y la calidad del lugar, la limpieza, el confort y la ubiacion tambien excelentes. Estoy super contenta de haber elegido este sitio. Imposible que decepcione. Definitivamente recomendable. Volveria sin duda.

Le logement était conforme aux photos, très joli et accueillant. La chambre parfaite également avec une belle salle de bain et une douche spacieuse. Tout était très propre ! Cependant, on entend tout du village, énormément de bruit à cause des fenêtres, je pense. Mais l’hôte a été très réactif et nous a immédiatement fait un geste concernant ce petit bémol qui n’était pas précisé ! Le petit déjeuner était très copieux grâce à Éric qui était aux petits soins ☺️ Un très bel accueil de sa part !

Einfach ein wunderschöner Ort mit mehr als netten Gastgebern. Das Guesthouse ist in einem ruhigen Ort in dem es aber auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt. Hier gilt es zu beachten das Montags und teilweise auch Dienstags geschlossen ist. Man hat kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und das Frühstück wird extra für jeden Tisch zubereitet. Wir waren hier auf der Durchreise und hatten eine schönen Tag.

I was really excited to stay at this guesthouse but when we arrived it was difficult to find our room, even with instructions. We were disappointed in our room specifically. The other rooms looked amazing and spacious, our #5 was not. It was also an interesting design to have the sink in the shower. I understand making a room out of the area to make more money but we found numerous spiders/bugs and there just was no space to move around. Also, I think that if you put on your website that every room has a minibar and plunge pool, that each room should have these. This was not the case, they were communal amenities. The breakfast was good though.

Amazing house, super friendly couple who manages this, very flexible for my breakfast needs. Cozy room, great town with plenty of friendly people. This is highly recommended. We even got permission to park our bikes in front of the house so we felt safer. Michas gracias!

Es una casa campestre, bonita y muy agradable, acogedora. Las normas del uso de las instalaciones están muy claras y accesibles,. Tienen un área de snacks por si se te antoja algo en último momento. No tienen TV la habitación pero no era necesario. El sitio es para relajarte y compartir con quién te acompañe. Es excelente para quien quiera descansar, compartir en familia o solo sentarse a leer. El lugar muy estratégico porque consigues a pocos metros dónde comer. Recomiendo la pizzería que está en la esquina es maravillosa. Si repetiría

Sitio céntrico,razonablemente cómodo,mi mujer echo en falta una televisión en el cuarto y yo un calefactor en el baño.En el desayuno,no todos somos veganos,faltaría algún fiambre o jamón,o bollería,mermelada,mantequilla.Los dueños encantadores.

Fantastic hosts. Loved the breakfasts. Great location. Beds new and comfortable great mattress. This hotel is a renovated home and the owners have done a great job in keeping the character of the original home so you have an authentic experience. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Le logement était conforme aux photos, très joli et accueillant. La chambre parfaite également avec une belle salle de bain et une douche spacieuse. Tout était très propre ! Cependant, on entend tout du village, énormément de bruit à cause des fenêtres, je pense. Mais l’hôte a été très réactif et nous a immédiatement fait un geste concernant ce petit bémol qui n’était pas précisé ! Le petit déjeuner était très copieux grâce à Éric qui était aux petits soins ☺️ Un très bel accueil de sa part !

Job and Gess have created a little oasis in town where you feel at home right away. They were very accommodating with food intolerances and we enjoyed the homemade breakfasts. The patio and dip pool are great! You have some stores, restaurants and cafés around and the town is near other bigger towns like Vélez-Málaga. Great experience!

Absolutely lovely stay, very comfortable room and bed, lovely private terrace, this is a rustic guesthouse with lovely elements, little courtyard, breakfast room, great self check in, plunge pool was sadly empty as we would have loved a dip as it was hot but I assume it's out of season. Únicamente surgió el problema de falta de luz que los dueños solventaron rápidamente acudiendo al local y comprobando que habían saltado los plomos. El check in nos lo adelantaron 2 horas con lo que pudimos disfrutar más. Todo amabilidad. El desayuno a la hora que dijimos, muy bueno. La ubicación del lugar inmejorable.Una estancia perfecta.

Lo mejor la variedad y calidad de los desayunos. Job super agradable y hospitalario. Incluso saliendo muy temprano, nos preparo algo de desayuno para llevar. La casa tiene una azotea muy agradable y en general es muy tranquila.

No tienen TV la habitación pero no era necesario. El sitio es para relajarte y compartir con quién te acompañe. Es excelente para quien quiera descansar, compartir en familia o solo sentarse a leer. Einfach ein wunderschöner Ort mit mehr als netten Gastgebern. Das Guesthouse ist in einem ruhigen Ort in dem es aber auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt. Hier gilt es zu beachten das Montags und teilweise auch Dienstags geschlossen ist. Man hat kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und das Frühstück wird extra für jeden Tisch zubereitet. Wir waren hier auf der Durchreise und hatten eine schönen Tag.

Bargain price and had a good nights sleep every night, would recommend. No parking at the hotel, but managed to park nearby every day no issues... imagine it will be much more difficult in summer.

La estancia buena, la amabilidad de los propietarios es maravillosa, desayuno super rico, muy cerca de muchos lugares para comer, muy fácil a pie para ver el pueblo, tienen en la planta baja una mini piscina q es maravillosa para tomar el sol y refrescarte. Lo único así más negativo son las almohadas que son un poco incómodas y cuando duermes a pesar de tenerlo todo cerrado se escucha la gente de la calle.

Estancia espectacular. Hotel con el encanto de lo antiguo pero con todas las comodidades necesarias. Los dueños del hotel no podian ser mas encantadores. El desayuno diario era siempre fresco, casero, y variaba cada dia. La atencion excelente y la calidad del lugar, la limpieza, el confort y la ubiacion tambien excelentes. Estoy super contenta de haber elegido este sitio. Imposible que decepcione. Definitivamente recomendable. Volveria sin duda.

Super nice place, perfectly clean, and every detail is intentional and well thought out. Beautiful architecture, furniture, decoration. Very communicative and nice hosts who made sure we knew everything we needed to and were fast to answer on WhatsApp if we had a question. Be careful when coming in in case Google Maps tells you to take a smaller road 😅 stick to the roads that are clearly more average size vs the small side streets that will be dead ends 😂 there is parking super close but if it’s full then there’s a parking lot just 5 minutes up the road. Also the air conditioning was great and first hotel in Spain and Portugal that has had all soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Super nice place, perfectly clean, and every detail is intentional and well thought out. Beautiful architecture, furniture, decoration. Very communicative and nice hosts who made sure we knew everything we needed to and were fast to answer on WhatsApp if we had a question. Be careful when coming in in case Google Maps tells you to take a smaller road 😅 stick to the roads that are clearly more average size vs the small side streets that will be dead ends 😂 there is parking super close but if it’s full then there’s a parking lot just 5 minutes up the road. Also the air conditioning was great and first hotel in Spain and Portugal that has had all soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
