Downtown Republica Premium

I had booked a 5 night stay but ended up leaving after only 2 nights and just forfeiting the cost for the rest of my trip. I speak fluent Portuguese and even I had significant trouble communicating with the host and building. Everything was so hi tech as to be impractical. The code for the door to my unit was literally like 15 characters, so imagine the time it takes to enter each time !!! Building is well located for lgbt travelers wanting to be near Republica gay nightlife. Mold in bathroom and it was so poorly vented that it stayed wet during our entire stay.finally the room was very small yet packed with very large heavy pieces of furniture. For two people it was hard to maneuver. On plus side the public areas of building are lovely and the Wi-Fi was good. I recommend asking for a unit with a view over the Praça da República.

Great property, brand new building. Very clean and great facilities. Just need to be careful around the area at night.

They were not available when needed, it is a tenant's house rented by third party, so they are not in the building. they couldn't fix internet for 1 day. Toilet flush is leaking. The building and the location is awesome.

Boa localização. O predio é novo, porém o apartamento não tem recebido boa manutenção: cortina quebrada, ar-condicionado quase não esfriando mesmo no mínimo, uma lâmpada queimada, e o cooktop também quebrado com uma rachadura enorme, uma mesinha na varanda também seria legal. Já fiquei em outros apartamentos neste mesmo prédio e a situação estava bem melhor.
