The hot water was out for the first 24hours. Took away from bonding time dealing with property owner and then plumber on a Saturday ugh. Got that fixed then plumber let’s us know that the fireplace needs a thermocouple that he doesn’t have and has to order so no fireplace the entire weekend.

We had a great stay at Hemlock Hideaway. The property was very clean and had everything we needed and then some! There were plenty of extra blankets, towels, and pillows. Everything you could need for the kitchen was supplied. We brought extra toilet paper and paper towels but never needed to use our own as there was an adequate amount for all 6 of us. The hot tub was not working on the first night, but Mike was quick to get it fixed and had it up and running in less then 24 hours. He was kind enough to reimburse us a small amount for the minor inconvenience. I would highly recommend staying at Hemlock Hideaway, we even saw 2 bears on our last day!

Property exactly liked described. The cabin is beautiful and nicely decorated. We all loved the retro arcade game table and pool table. Plenty of room for three adults and a pre-teen. We had one issue and it was taken care of very quickly. Loft tv decided to come partly down in the middle of the night; first night there. Made an awful loud sound that woke us all up. One message to the owner and it was fixed. We all spent most of our time on the main level deck. My kiddos and granddaughter in the hot tub. Me just listening to nature. So very peaceful!! We all got the rest and relaxation we was wanting.

The cabin is amazing and the Christmas decorations were gorgeous. Everything was as exactly as advertised and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, the board games and the 80’s arcade games. No need to leave for anything. Definitely recommend and we will be back soon! Great communication with the host. She was wonderful!

10 pounds of sugar in a 5 pound sack!! Thank you Linda!! 5 Star Hostess!!This cabin is fantastic!! So fantastic that we booked another week for later this year while we were still there. Perfectly equipped luxury cabin in a clean and quiet resort community. We loved all of the ambient lighting both inside and out. Can't wait to see it dressed up for Christmas!! So much to enjoy here: fully stocked kitchen, new living room furniture with double recliner leather sofa, soaking tub in bedroom, arcade and pool table, first floor back porch with hot tub, second floor porch with swing seat for 2, and a fireplace for cold months.Perfect for couples who need a romantic getaway with a little mountainous adventure.

We had a wonderful stay at Hemlock Hideaway. The cabin is just as advertised and even more beautiful in person. It is very clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. There are plenty of extra linens and blankets, adequate towels, and all kitchen necessities. We brought additional toilet paper and trash bags but never needed to use our own. The hot tub was not working the first night but Mike had someone out the very next morning and it was promptly fixed (just needed a fuse replaced). We even saw a few bears on our last day!

Very clean and comfortable! We really appreciated the fall decor. Many cabin owners forget that families are gathering for the season or holiday and want to feel like they are celebrating the season. We thoroughly enjoyed having that feeling of fall, the fireplace, and being cozy.

We just left this cabin and we had a great three day stay. The decks on the back are great and it was so peaceful outside! If curvy roads are not your thing, this is not the place for you! So glad we had our Jeep to navigate the roads. But you truly had the mountain feel! Cabin was clean with the exception of some trash left up in the loft when we arrived and the shower liner needs to be replaced. It is very nasty. Other than that, the cabin was in great condition! Beds slept well, kitchen was well stocked and loved the game table upstairs!

We liked the cabin, but it had its short comings. The loft bed had been peed in and the sheets were dirty. There was fast food trash between the wall and the bed in the loft. The A/C wouldn't cool the cabin. Everything was covered in dust. The bathroom sink and tub drain slow. For the price point this cabin is at I would have expected better.

A cabin é muito boa 3 quartos, camas e roupas muito boas, 3 banheiros, cozinha completa, boa sala de estar e estacionamento. A administradora da cabana demora para responder. A limpeza nas varandas necessita de mais cuidado. O Ar Condicionado não foi satisfatorio. No geral foi bom e voltaria ao local.

Our stay was great. The cabin is perfect for a couple of small family. We enjoyed the location, the drive up to the cabin is fun and scenic. It was great to have the kitchen for cooking a few meals ourselves. the long days of walking gatlinburg and hiking/exploring the national park made the hot tub so nice in the evenings. We saw multiple bears- a mama and 2 cubs the 1st hour we were there, then 2 days later, a different mama and 3 cubs. After that, we saw a huge make near. I named him Barkley and he had a heck of a scar on his right lip. :-( seeing the bears was my favorite part of our week stay in the cabin. Only thing we had issues with was all 3 of the tv's. We could only get the one on the living room to work, but the location of it makes it very hard to get the remote to work. We ended up giving up and just sitting outside. And the fridge and foster oven were not cleaned out very well from the previous guests. If the tvs were upgraded or actually worked, then this would be a perfect place! All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and made it special. We really enjoyed the hot tub and jetted bathtub! The owner was nice & very quick to respond to us. Our only suggestion is the cabin could use a good deep cleaning. The a/c return was behind the couch and was really dusty along with the ceiling fans. I placed my hand on the metal headboard and it left black dust on my hand so I used a washcloth the clean it off. Otherwise we loved everything about our stay and recommend this cabin for a couples getaway vacation.

Great location for access to Smoky Mountains NP, Dollywood, and Pigeon Forge. Spacious home with bedroom and full bath on each of three levels. Worked well for our family of four with young children. Limited view in summer but probably a nice view of the mountain in winter. Some furniture needs updating, but beds were comfortable. Needs all kitchenware replaced.

Nice little cabin tucked away. Would be good to know how close neighbors are. If looking for something secluded this isn’t completely it. Neighbors can’t necessarily see your back porch but they can be heard from theirs.

The cabin was great lots of space for family enjoyed the downstairs living space. Everything very clean and had all the appliances and things we needed. Hot tub was great. Roads were a little hard in the beginning to find the cabin but once we had done it a few times was easier. Lots of trees so not much of a view but we felt very relaxed and enjoyed our stay

We brought our kids here for spring break and loved it! The house is beautiful and definitely has the perfect cozy cabin vibe. It's within pretty close driving distance of everything but far enough away that it's very peaceful. We all loved it and wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location and cute cabin. The neighbors were a little closer than I would have liked, but during the week they weren't noticeable. We had a very minor issue (tripped breaker) on the first day, but Lunda was very responsive and it was a very easy fix. Lots of room for the two of us and I think if the weather had been worse, we may have spent more time indoors comfortably.

This is our second time staying at this cabin and my family and I absolutely love it! It’s a great location, fun cabin, and if you are lucky you get to see some bears(unfortunately not this stay)! We will stay here each time we can! Linda is easy to work with and very responsive to any needs!

We loved the cabin and had a great time while there. The kids loved all the Christmas decorations and it made our Christmas vacation well worth it. Linda was a great host and left the kids with a gift under the tree. I would come back again. The neighborhood was really nice and quiet.

We were excited to enjoy our 2 day night vacation me and my wife. But as soon as we arrived at the house, it was super cold and the HEATER DID NOT WORK. We depended on the fireplace for a couple of hours. I called the property owner to tell her that the heater was not working properly, it was not throwing airflow like it should and the air was very cold. She was very rude and inappropriate to begin with, she told me to check the air filter and when I did, it was the extremely dirty and clogged, the worst filer I have ever seen in my life (have pictures for evidence). So I send her the pictures of the filter and the vent, she then accused me of lying and stated that it doesn’t look like her filter because the last she changed it was 3 months ago according to her, but that filter looked like it was much older than 3 months. That is horrible! She argued with me the whole time on the phone and RUINED OUR VACATION. I found dirty blankets on the bed (pictures available for evidence) if the filter is that dirty, imagine the bed, bed cover pillows and so on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR THE ATTITUDE OF THIS OWNER PROPERTY!!!

We had a great stay at Hemlock Hideaway. The property was very clean and had everything we needed and then some! There were plenty of extra blankets, towels, and pillows. Everything you could need for the kitchen was supplied. We brought extra toilet paper and paper towels but never needed to use our own as there was an adequate amount for all 6 of us. The hot tub was not working on the first night, but Mike was quick to get it fixed and had it up and running in less then 24 hours. He was kind enough to reimburse us a small amount for the minor inconvenience. I would highly recommend staying at Hemlock Hideaway, we even saw 2 bears on our last day!

A cabin é muito boa 3 quartos, camas e roupas muito boas, 3 banheiros, cozinha completa, boa sala de estar e estacionamento. A administradora da cabana demora para responder. A limpeza nas varandas necessita de mais cuidado. O Ar Condicionado não foi satisfatorio. No geral foi bom e voltaria ao local.

We had a wonderful stay at Hemlock Hideaway. The cabin is just as advertised and even more beautiful in person. It is very clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. There are plenty of extra linens and blankets, adequate towels, and all kitchen necessities. We brought additional toilet paper and trash bags but never needed to use our own. The hot tub was not working the first night but Mike had someone out the very next morning and it was promptly fixed (just needed a fuse replaced). He was kind enough to Venmo a small refund to us for our inconvenience. I would highly recommend staying here…the drive up the mountain is a little adventurous but my hubby quickly became a pro. We even saw a few bears on our last day!

Beautifully lit up with decorations when we showed up! We knew it was our home for the next few days. Very clean and well appointed. We only stayed 2 nights. The fact that the minimum is NOT 3 nights was very consumer friendly. Directions to property and instructions for property were very clear, informative and extensive. We had no problem getting in. Nasty winds had blown over some of the decorations so we set them back up. We think the same winds blew out the pilot light of the gas fireplace. Instructions under the fireplace helped us get it going again. We contacted the owner about the situation and she responded promptly. Wish we would have had more time. Neighborhood was nice and not noisy at all. Roads can be a bit challenging for those of us who are from the Midwest or anywhere flat! Awesome stay!

Perfect cabin for my family of 5. Everyone had their own space and bathroom for privacy! The hot tub and the pool table were a hit with the young adults and the distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was quick! Would definitely rent again! Check in process was smooth too, great communication.

This house is located directly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge off the main road between the 2 cities.. Communication with the rental company and the owner was beyond my expectations. All communication was timely and accurate. The house itself is exactly as presented and was in great order. Our family enjoyed the stay and will be using it again in the future...

Beautiful home decorated full out for Christmas making it the most festive property in the area. My wife and I very much enjoyed our long weekend stay and would definitely stay again. Property is way off the main highway which is a great thing! We had no problems at all following the GPS or owners instructions. Romantic and fun getaway.

We decided to head to the Smoky Mountain area for our daughters spring break. This cabin was perfect for the trip. It was close to both the park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It allowed us to head out early in the morning for activities, come back and relax in the late afternoon before heading back to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge in the evenings. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had all amenities one could need. It was quiet but close to all action as well. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

The cabin was great lots of space for family enjoyed the downstairs living space. Everything very clean and had all the appliances and things we needed. Hot tub was great. Roads were a little hard in the beginning to find the cabin but once we had done it a few times was easier. Lots of trees so not much of a view but we felt very relaxed and enjoyed our stay

We brought our kids here for spring break and loved it! The house is beautiful and definitely has the perfect cozy cabin vibe. It's within pretty close driving distance of everything but far enough away that it's very peaceful. We all loved it and wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed with friends. Checkin was very easy and the cabin was big and spacious and very cosy. All essentials provided. Great location high in mountains with good views from a short stroll. Local bears present weren’t threatening. Too busy to try the hot tub (with regret)! Had a great time and would go again.

Pool table and video games were a hit with Dad and daughter. We enjoyed the upper balcony for bird watching and morning coffee. Enjoyed it was out of way and quiet. Winding road to and from Gatlinburg was fun. Yet, avoided doing the drive at night. Nice place to stay, would hope to come again.

Cabin was clean. Nice to just sit on deck and chill. Drive to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg about 25 minutes depending on traffic. Overall it's a perfect vacation spot.

Property found as advertised. Convenient to have essentials like hand soap, shampoo, dishwasher pods, trash bags, towels and linens provided. Size of home perfect for a large family gathering which was our goal. The home interior was found neat, organized, and clean but the outdoor front porch seating area not so much. We recognize this area is more difficult to maintain because it is outside and due to the tree cover but there were noticeable cobwebs and the chair cushions were dirty. We would expect this not to be the case if the cleaning service vendor came in right before our stay. We had some rain and would not have had to retreat from the deck to inside if the covered porch was cleaner.

Our stay was ultimately satisfactory, but the check-in experience was very frustrating. We had not received the front door access code required to enter the cabin. When we contacted the host through the VRBO messaging system for assistance, we were told to communicate outside of the platform and contact a third-party maintenance company instead.Because we were unable to obtain the access code through the host, we contacted VRBO customer support. VRBO assisted us and the host eventually provided the code, allowing us to access the property.The cabin itself met our expectations, but the lack of timely assistance during check-in significantly impacted our experience. In our many years of using short-term rentals, we have not encountered a similar issue. While the property was acceptable, we would choose a different rental in the area based on the level of customer service we received.
