I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sol Azur Beach & Congress in Hammamet, Tunisia, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and dedicated, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their unwavering smiles and willingness to help, regardless of the situation, made us feel incredibly welcome. A special mention goes to Dorsaf, the Customer Relations Manager. Her personalized and authentic approach made a significant difference, adding a unique touch to our stay. Sami also deserves recognition for his dedication and the extra effort he put into making our visit special. The hotel's location is superb—conveniently close to downtown, just a 5-minute taxi ride or a lovely 20-minute walk away. This allows easy access to local stores, restaurants, and charming spots around the area. The beach at Sol Azur is simply amazing. We had the chance to stay in a suite facing the beach, and waking up to that breathtaking view was a highlight of our stay. The tranquility and beauty of the beach enhanced our overall experience. Sol Azur Beach & Congress offers a fantastic stay with its stunning location, excellent dining, and attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hammamet. L’accueil est chaleureux L’infrastructure est très modestes et ne correspond pas au descriptif : il faut aller à un autre hôtel pour voir la salle de sport et la piscine couverte moyennant un payement supplémentaire La nourriture est variée et en bonne quantité L’emplacement est correcte et on peut accéder au centre ville à pieds Pas de serviette pour la piscine et la plage Les chambre sont trop rustique et vieille et sans serviette Trop basique comme hôte Prévoir produits anti moustique

Ensemble peu satisfaisant, la piscine extérieur est très bien. Néanmoins, il est indiqué sur le descriptif de l’hôtel qu’il avait bien une piscine intérieur. Surprise le personnel nous indique que la piscine intérieur est indisponible depuis dès mois. Ayant un bébé de 8 mois cette option faisait partie de nos critères. Par ailleurs, le système de climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre. La nourriture au buffet est très moyenne. Le personnel pas très accueillant.

Hotel staff is very friendly and the food was very good for breakfast and dinner. Beach is beautiful and loved the nightly entertainment on the stage.

Odeur dans les chambres du 4 e niveau, chambre vétuste, climatisation déficiente dans la chambre, difficile d’avoir des chaises sur la plage et le bord de la piscine. Excellent au niveau de la nourriture.

Hotel bien situé, peid dans l'eau avec une grande piscine pour enfants et adultes.

Dans l'ensemble la prestation est là, bon rapport qualité prix. Le bonheur pour les petits, piscine bien entretenue et sécurisée. Nous avons eu 2 chambres, un chambres propres et rénovée et une deuxième dabs un etat assez délabrée...matelas et frigo dans un etat tres moyen ! A Signaler l'extrême amabilite et gentillesse des femmes ee chambres. La nourriture du buffet est vraiement variee ef tres bonne nous nous sommes régalés. Le seul hic est que pour trouver une table il faut passer par l'un des serveur au resto ! Et là c'est tout ou rien, certain ont oublié le minimum des regles d'accueil...je préfère retenir l'amabilité et la gentillesse du serveur qui s'occupe de la grande table ronde en fonds de salle. Il a rendu notre sejour encore plus agreable. Une equipe d'animation au top ! Le gros bemol ! Vous arrivez à la plage privee de lhotel a 8h00 du matin, il n'y a personne et pourtant tous les transats sont pris (pliés avec des serviettes dessus ...) réservés semble t il par le.plagiste qui n'a pas dexplication a ce phénomène etrange ...extrêmement irritant lorsque les transants restent bloqués parfois jusqu'à 11h du matin et que vous grillez sous le soleil avec des enfants en bas age. En tous cas nous gardons, de bons souvenirs du sol azur.

Groot en mooi hotel. Was nog begin seizoen dus nog niet alles in orde. Mooie, grote lobby, vriendelijk personeel. We checkten uit om 4u en toch hadden ze voor ons ontbijt voorzien. Mooi en groot zwembad. Indoor pool is groot, maar niet aangenaam door chloorgeur en door het water dat van de dakramen naar beneden valt. Direct aan het strand. Alle kamers hebben zeezicht. Grote, ruime kamers. Zijn vier sterren (in Afrika) zeker waard!

La persona che è sempre disponibile e sempre cortese è la Sig.ra IMAN della reception,complimenti. Da rivedere in assoluto i servizi in spiaggia e piscina, il personale occupa dalle sei del mattino i lettini su compenso di mancia. In una settimana non abbiamo mai trovato un lettino in piscina, una vergogna per la struttura.

La struttura è particolarmente datata ma al di là di questo è la scarsa pulizia ed igiene che più da fastidio. L'assenza di italiani nell'hotel la dice lunga. Chiaramente non tornerò assolutamente in questo hotel.

From the moment I checked in, the experience was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a double room reservation and they accommodated us with a suite that had an ocean view. The rooms were clean and well equipped. I would absolutely come back and stay at this hotel.

Die 2 Zimmer die wir hatten waren sehr dreckig. Der Boden+ vorallem die Betten, die Kissen waren sehr gelb von den Schwissrändern oder sonstigem, die Lacken von verschiedenen Nachtaktivitäten verschmutzt und Duschtücher fleckig und eines war noch feucht wie es vorher gebraucht wurde.😧 Bei der reklamation noch am Abend hats geheissen man wechselt es. Aber war nicht so. Im Speiseraum war viel vom Geschirr + Besteck dreckig musste einiges wegstellen. Bei den Früchten z. B. Pfirsich einige faul oder angeschlagen. Personal unfreundlich keine Begrüßung im Gang oder Speisesaal. Einzig die 2 Frauen die einte an der Rezeption und die andere beim Kassieren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Also dieses Hotel weit weg von 4 Sterne. Und ich kenne mittlerweile sehr viele Hotels in Tunesien

Très bon séjour, les chambres étaient propres, le personnel accueillant, belle plage et bonne piscine !

First impression of property is ok but as you begin to explore you find that building needs upgrade. In the rooms the AC is poor condition. Fridge was oit of order and room telephone is not working in any if the rooms. . Room is cleaned daily but sheets are not changed and towels are not replaced either . Shower controlof hot and cold is really poor

L’accueil se passe correctement, sauf que la clim ne fonctionne pas. Après 2 passages du technicien toujours rien. Nuit blanche à cause de la chaleur +l’humidite. La chambre est grande et confortable. Les sanitaire des années 80. Carrelage cassé, mini bar usé. Fuite d’eau des wc. Toile d’araignée dans les coins… buffet minimaliste. Plage magnifique et très bien aménagé. Piscine moyenne mais suffisante. Hélas pommeau de douche de plage casser du coup l’eau coule sans arrêt( signalé). Sinon pour un 4 étoiles Tunisien il mérite 4/10

Bonjour, j’ai passé un sejour de 9 jours dans la globalité c’était super le personnel de l’accueil a la réception eté top ceux du restaurant aussi les serveurs l’hôtel été très jolie et spacieux mais les chambres son a revoir les femme de menage font pas correctement leur boulot on es obligé de leur dire pour qu’elle change nos lit ou pour avoir des serviette elle soupire quand on leur demande , les chambres il ya des fourmis et pas top pour un 4 étoiles on s’attendait a de meilleures chambres.

Das Buffet war sehr vielseitig und schön angerichtet. Unser Zimmer lag ruhig mit Blick auf Palmen und das Meer. Die Poolanlage war recht großzügig und über zwei Ebenen verteilt. Es waren überwiegend französische Gäste im Hotel. Für einen Spaziergang ins Zentrum benötigt ca. 15-20 Minuten. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden, lediglich das Unterhaltungsprogramm hätte etwas vielseitiger sein können.

The hotel is not worth more than two to three stars. The following detracts a lot: - service standard depends on who serves you - wifi down for a whole two days before they got it fixed. Had to buy SIM card. - We lost clothes and jewelery from the room. Here I must point out that it is not an accusation of theft, but can only state that we cannot find them and the last time we saw these items it was in the room.

We liked the water pressure, the view and the proximity to the beach. We appreciated the life guard, Fathi and the money changer Ahlen. We found the property in poor repair, the breakfast included cold eggs and stale bread. The loud music played from morning until night. No working AC, only the fan worked. Upon leaving we were quoted double the going rate for a private driver to Sousse.

Le personnel est gentil mais pas plus,la nourriture ressemble beaucoup à une cantine,la chambre est vieillot te,la plage est moyenne.

Le service est bon , l'accueil des employés est tres bon , mais la climatisation dans les chambres est nul , il faisait tres chaud , et le climatiseur ne refroidis pas , j'ai passé 3 nuit = trous nuits que j'ai pas pu dormir

Mauvaise expérience dans l’hôtel Saleté et inconfort côté chambre et climatisation qui ne marcha pas pendant tout le séjour et le personnel est plus au moins hostile car il manque bokou de choses dans l’hôtel côté restaurant aussi tout est chaud et il a n’ont pas de glaçons pour donner aux clients et le service de la réception de cet hôtel est non réceptif il ne répond pas à nos demandes et nos attentes! Ne pas recommander cet hôtel franchement! Et je regrette avoir réservé une chambre là bas Moi je vis au Canada et j’ai réservé le séjour depuis des mois en arrière en espérant trouvé mon bonheur mais malheureusement ce n’était pas le cas!je suis vraiment déçu et je n’y remettrai j’aimais les pieds!

Franchement j adore cette hôtel mais cette fois je suis impeux déçu par l’accueil sachant que j avais réservé une chambre vu sur mer triple et a l arrivé on m’a dit que y avais pas de chambre avec mes critères malheureusement et j ai du chercher une chambre à leur goût se qui as pris énormément de temps pour m installer et avec la fatigue du chemin sa m’a soûler et après le lit n été pas du tt confortable et l etat de la chambre n été pas très propre (du rouge à lèvres sur le verre ) et quant la femme de ménage venait nettoyer elle fesais le lit très mâle juste elle recouvrait avec la couverture et c tt on voyait tt qui dépasse 🥺 la première fois que je suis aller c été vachement plus propre et plus accueillant se qui ma donner envie de réserver une autre fois mais cette fois pas trop sûr de moi ! Et le restaurant qui as changer de place je trouve trop fermé et trop d odeur de la nourriture alor la quant ils réchauffe les pizza insupportable 😫 avant c été en ba acoter de la piscine c été trop cool je trouve , après l endroit de l’hôtel et son intégralité rien a dire surtt la plage le calme dans la forêt et la belle piscine ❤️ merci au personnel de l accueil qui était très compréhensif et au chef du restaurant qui été juste trop sympa

Poor service the food was not good presented at the buffet and not too many varieties of dishes and desserts Stuff needs to be more professional in service and hospitality If you are looking for good service I really don’t recommend this hotel.

Katastrophe. An der Rezeption wurden wir emotionslos empfangen. Man hat uns 30 Minuten in der Lobby sitzen lassen & dann gefragt warum wir nichts sagen. Dann wurde uns der Schlüssel für das Zimmer gegeben. Kein Wort über Essenszeiten, Abläufe im Hotel oder sonstige Informationen. Im Zimmer kam uns ein beißender Chemiegestank entgegen. Das Zimmer selber war sehr schmutzig. Nachdem wir dann eine Menge weißes Pulver vor dem Kühlschrank gefunden haben, entschieden wir uns das Zimmer zu wechseln. Dies ging ohne Widerworte. Auf dem Weg zum neuen Zimmer sagte uns der Bagagist, dass „sie“ immer viel auf den Zimmern sprühen, um die Insekten fernzuhalten. Das neue Zimmer roch nicht streng, allerdings tropfte es im Flur leicht von der Decke, die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht & das Wasser in der Dusche wechselte in sehr kurzen Intervallen zwischen sehr heiss & sehr kalt. Am besten war aber, dass jetzt das Babybett fehlte. Der Bagagist versicherte uns noch, dass sich darum gekümmert wird & wir das Hotel erkunden können. Nachdem wir am schönen Pool waren, haben wir danach festgestellt, dass immer noch kein Bett gebracht wurde. Also wieder zur Rezeption. Nach dem Abendessen steht das Bett wurde uns versichert. Nach dem Abendessen stand ein Bett allerdings ohne Decke oder Kissen. Wieder runter. „Darum müssen wir uns früher kümmern“, wurden wir vom Nachtdienst angemeckert. Eine Familie & 2 Männer steckten 30 Minuten im Aufzug fest & haben sich nachdem keine Reaktion kam, selber befreit

J'ai séjourné en famille à l'hôtel Sol Azur en Juillet 2022, Août 2023 et Juillet 2024. Je suis très satisfait par la prestation de cet hôtel. J'ai recommandé cet hôtel à des proches qui ont séjourné et qui ont vraiment apprécié. L'accueil est au top et le personnel est accueillant et serviable. La restauration est au top, la piscine est excellente et l'animation est de bonne qualité. Les chambres sont respectables et bien aménagées. Le personnel est très réactif à chaque réclamation. Comme exemple, je suis descendu à la réception pour réclamer du papier toilette. Après quelques minutes, je suis revenu à la chambre et à ma surprise générale, le papier toilette a été mis à sa place. C'est impressionnant la réactivité du personnel. Je pense que c'est un des meilleurs hôtels de la Tunisie dans sa catégorie. Si la qualité de service est à ce niveau, c'est parce qu'il y a du personnel de haut niveau. Au top management, on trouve Madame Dorsaf, Manager de la relation client. C'est une personne hors norme et elle se trouve partout pour satisfaire les clients et tenir compte des souhaits des uns et des autres et des réclamations. C'est une personne magique qui trouve des solutions à tous. Je suis resté perplexe par le travail énorme et efficace de Madame Dorsaf. Au niveau de la piscine, le responsable est Fethi, ce dernier fait un travail exceptionnel pour satisfaire les clients

The property was right in the ocean. I spent a couple of hours everyday there relaxing. The hotel was in walking distance to many restaurants, coffe places etc

L’hôtel est très bien située, vue imprenable. Séjour top. Le restaurant est génial. On y mange très bien le matin comme le midi et soir. Petit bémol sur la demi pension qui n’offre aucun alcool à table si cocktail gratuit. Petit bémol également sur le service des chambres (manque de papiers toilette et de serviettes pour se doucher par moment).

Superschönes Hotel , ob mit Familie oder ohne!!! (Ich war allein da) Total nettes Personal, immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit - egal ob Rezeption, Zimmerdamen, Küchen.- Kellner.- Zimmer.- oder Strandpersonal, Die Beiden Chefkoch waren der Hammer(Chefkoch Sabeur und Chefkoch Mehrez), alle waren ganz toll und haben eine Vielfältigkeit an Kulinarisches Essen vorbereitet alles war perfekt für mich besonderen Dank allerdings an Madame Dorsaf und Chefkoch Sabeur und Chefkoch Mehrez, immer dabei mit großer Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft, Herz, Seele und Verstand. Tolles Hotel, super Animation, abwechslungsreiche Küche, sehr sauberes Hotel und schöner Strand Ich komme definitiv wieder

Tres mauvaise surprise sur le all inclusive qui n'était valable que pour les softs, nous avons ete tres déçus et cela a entaché notre arrivée

Hotel ayant sûrement perdu 2 étoiles... Repas repetitifs et pas élaborés, laissez aller flagrand des femmes de menage,serviettes vieilles et sales. Vu à la salle de resto 1 client torse nu en maillot 2 bain.je l'ai signalé au chef du resto mais aucune reaction. Inernet limite...... Plus jamais içi !!!

We had a stay in the Sol Azur Hotel Hammamet of 7 days, starting on the 13/04/2024. We made a reservation of a standard room with all inclusive. That weekend on the very same day, arrived a lot of Tunisian tourists to stay for the weekend, and the service of the hotel was terrible as they are not prepared to receive that many guests. The food during the weekend was not served on the main restaurant, except for lunch (which a lot of people had half pension, so at least for that meal and options were a little better), but for breakfast and dinner there were no other options then national food, which was cold and old. The guests who regularly frequent the hotel are very impolite, and the staff are not prepared to provide food and quality of service for all the people. For that weekend they barely had bread, no butter or even margarine, the milk was disolved with water to yield more, cold pre made omelets, and when the food ran out, they took a long time to replace it or didn’t even replace it at all. On Monday when most guests checked out of the hotel, they started doing all three meals on the main restaurant next to the pool. The problem was that with the food available for the guests, the workers and cooks consumed the food themselves at the guest’s expense. One feels disrespected watching the restaurant staff, eating guests food in front of everyone. The cleaning was also very poor, with leaks in the toilet.

On Monday when most guests checked out of the hotel, they started doing all three meals on the main restaurant next to the pool. The problem was that with the food available for the guests, the workers and cooks consumed the food themselves at the guest’s expense. The only fresh bread for consumption, a lady cook would take it for her own consumption, and then when I asked if there’s more she claimed it had finished; it was still 7:30 a.m The cleaning very poor with leaks in toilet.

Nourriture très bonne et variée, personnel très agréable et à l'écoute, piscine et plage magnifique et propres,... On reviendra. Mention spéciale à la directrice de l'hôtel qui n'a pas hésité à renvoyer plusieurs groupes de jeunes footballeurs algériens très irrespectueux et à en plus fait un geste pour nous et les autres touristes s'étant manifestés. Merci beaucoup

Parking so small Crowded hotel Breakfast is horrible

L’hôtel est très bien située, vue imprenable. Séjour top. Le restaurant est génial. On y mange très bien le matin comme le midi et soir. Petit bémol sur la demi pension qui n’offre aucun alcool à table si cocktail gratuit. Petit bémol également sur le service des chambres (manque de papiers toilette et de serviettes pour se doucher par moment).
