Beautiful property. Looks like a vineyard. Rooms were very comfy and fully stocked with all amenities. Beautiful tennis courts and pools . Great , attentive and very kind service ( both at the hotel, poolside and restaurant) Breakfast buffet was amazing and offered lots of traditional items in addition to the classic fare. My advice: Forget the scrambled eggs , pancakes and doughnuts for once and give the other options a chance ! Diner was on the pricier side - it is fine dining after all- but definitely worth it! Try the Octopus and shrimp carpaccio! Minor criticisms : Pool closes at 7 pm, which is a shame given the pool bar and pool restaurant . Also, Music choice ( hip hop and 80s tunes) and volume were a bit high and out of place during breakfast, especially with the gorgeous views of the mountains and gorges in the distance. But the staff was prompt to address this once notified. Overall a great experience.

The staff was a delight. The bartender went out and picked the oranges he squeezed for our juice. Best ever!! The room were lovely. The grounds were well maintained with orange and olive trees. Also, 4 clay tennis courts!!

Wow, what a fantastic stay! We were immediately welcomed by the lovely staff and shown the grounds via golf cart. The room was lovely although a little dark, and the bed was one of the comfiest beds I have ever had the fortune of sleeping in. The pool (and the pool bar service) was top class. The tennis courts were lush and set against a gorgeous mountain backdrop. The gym could do with a little update but who am I to complain. And the cherry on top of an already fabulous hotel, was the dinner. Christos was the most amazing and attentive waiter who made us feel so welcome. He recommended such a delicious wine and even introduced us to the world of mastika. The only fault was the cooked breakfast could be better but who am I to complain. Thank you Mystras!!

Lovely resort with several pools, friendly staff, well appointed rooms. Gardens and surrounds are well maintained and lush. Room had a balcony, small fridge, kettle. Close to the Mystras ruins.

Great full service hotel, with fantastic helpful staff, located outside of Sparta and near Mystra new town. Has pool, bar, lounge, restaurant,spa. Great breakfast buffet. Free parking. Looks like old village in an olive grove. You won't find better anywhere around this area.

The Mystras Grand Palace Resort and Spa is a destination in itself. From the cozy rooms, to tennis courts to 2 swimming pools to spa amenities to outstanding Greek cuisine, it offers a wonderful get-away for couples and families. It's location is close to shopping in Sparta and the ruins of the Mystras Castle. If you're in Greece, a must stay is this wonderful resort.

Everything was good but the pool was closed which means they should offer the option of use of the indoor pool without charge. It is petty to charge for use of it at a 5 star hotel.

This is the epitomy of a five star hotel. Beautiful rooms, excellent dining, a fantastic breakfast buffet, and a golf buggy to ferry your luggage. Two lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers. And nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was included despite us not specifically ordering a B&B rate. Just seven minutes drive from Mystras archeological site.

Lovely hotel just a bit too far from Mystras town to be able to walk in. Great pool area but the bar and outdoor restaurant weren’t open yet mid May Our room had a balcony with a nice view but looks like not all have a balcony. Room was very dark, hardly any natural light. Had a beautiful claw footed bath but not allowed to use it as it leaks according to reception. The shower over it was a hand held contraption and had a large step to get into but hard to get out of so not great if you’re older. The restaurant food and staff were very good. Free on site parking, an unusual thing from Greece!

Καταπληκτικό ξενοδοχείο.Καθαρό,άνετο ,περιποιημένοι όλοι οι χώροι ,το προσωπικό χαμογελαστό ,ευγενικό και πάντα πρόθυμο να σε εξυπηρετήσει .Η τοποθεσία του εύκολα προσβάσιμη ..Εξαιρετικό πρωινό με θέα το κάστρο του Μυστρά..Πήγαμε με την οικογένεια μου για Χριστούγεννα και το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα .

Five stars for the Impressive breakfast spread packed in two large rooms and hardworking helpful wait staff… they even have an old fashioned hot sand Turkish coffee maker. All buildings are fairly new, large modern bathroom with huge shower, Room walls are stone that made the room fairly dark, every time returning to the room, it smells musky. Thin and hard towels, thin mattress. No screens so can’t open windows or doors unless one is immune to mosquitoes and flying insects. Few minutes from the Mystras ancient site and short ride to the Acropolis of Sparta. Worst 35 euro per person buffet dinner with music by the pool STRONGLY recommended by the front desk. Not only the six chafing dish of hot food over nuked and uneatable. Few pieces of fruit and prepackaged desert were awful too. The wait staffs were slow and rude. This was the worst meal we had for the entire four weeks trip in Greece. Can’t comprehend the night and day difference of breakfast and dinner. Annoying: receptionists at checkout asked for tips, when we replied no, her face changed and turned away. My years of travels and hundreds of hotel stays, I have never been asked to give tips during hotel checkouts.

The property is very clean and quiet. Both pool areas were spacious. Good delicious and cocktails were amazing. Rooms cleaned everyday. Staff was beyond friendly. The free breakfast was amazing a lot to choose from

Property is beautiful and sprawling yet rooms are a little small. Breakfast a la carte service is slow. Property could use more staff. Lots of stray cats around making a lot of noise at night.

We had 3 adults in one room and the room was spacious. Our king size bed was very comfortable and my son's pull out sofa bed was a queen size bed. The bathroom was the most spacious we had in Greece (9 hotels). Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and the service was top notch. I would definitely stay here again.
We had 3 adults in one room and the room was spacious. Our king size bed was very comfortable and my son's pull out sofa bed was a queen size bed. The bathroom was the most spacious we had in Greece (9 hotels). Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and the service was top notch. I would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The fitness center could be larger with updated / more equipment. The coffee in the room was outstanding!! The room was beautiful. We were a bit distracted by the constant barking of dogs and sounds the turkeys and roosters were making…but it was kind of funny too! If we were to return to Sparta, we would absolutely stay at this hotel! Thank you!

Wow, what a fantastic stay! We were immediately welcomed by the lovely staff and shown the grounds via golf cart. The room was lovely although a little dark, and the bed was one of the comfiest beds I have ever had the fortune of sleeping in. The pool (and the pool bar service) was top class. The tennis courts were lush and set against a gorgeous mountain backdrop. The gym could do with a little update but who am I to complain. And the cherry on top of an already fabulous hotel, was the dinner. Christos was the most amazing and attentive waiter who made us feel so welcome. He recommended such a delicious wine and even introduced us to the world of mastika. The only fault was the cooked breakfast could be better but who am I to complain. Thank you Mystras!!

The staff was a delight. The bartender went out and picked the oranges he squeezed for our juice. Best ever!! The room were lovely. The grounds were well maintained with orange and olive trees. Also, 4 clay tennis courts!!

Five stars for the Impressive breakfast spread packed in two large rooms and hardworking helpful wait staff… they even have an old fashioned hot sand Turkish coffee maker. All buildings are fairly new, large modern bathroom with huge shower, Room walls are stone that made the room fairly dark, every time returning to the room, it smells musky. Thin and hard towels, thin mattress. No screens so can’t open windows or doors unless one is immune to mosquitoes and flying insects. Few minutes from the Mystras ancient site and short ride to the Acropolis of Sparta. Worst 35 euro per person buffet dinner with music by the pool STRONGLY recommended by the front desk. Not only the six chafing dish of hot food over nuked and uneatable. Few pieces of fruit and prepackaged desert were awful too. The wait staffs were slow and rude. This was the worst meal we had for the entire four weeks trip in Greece. Can’t comprehend the night and day difference of breakfast and dinner. Annoying: receptionists at checkout asked for tips, when we replied no, her face changed and turned away. My years of travels and hundreds of hotel stays, I have never been asked to give tips during hotel checkouts.

Lovely hotel just a bit too far from Mystras town to be able to walk in. Great pool area but the bar and outdoor restaurant weren’t open yet mid May Our room had a balcony with a nice view but looks like not all have a balcony. Room was very dark, hardly any natural light. Had a beautiful claw footed bath but not allowed to use it as it leaks according to reception. The shower over it was a hand held contraption and had a large step to get into but hard to get out of so not great if you’re older. The restaurant food and staff were very good. Free on site parking, an unusual thing from Greece!

This is the epitomy of a five star hotel. Beautiful rooms, excellent dining, a fantastic breakfast buffet, and a golf buggy to ferry your luggage. Two lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers. And nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was included despite us not specifically ordering a B&B rate. Just seven minutes drive from Mystras archeological site.

Beautiful property. Looks like a vineyard. Rooms were very comfy and fully stocked with all amenities. Beautiful tennis courts and pools . Great , attentive and very kind service ( both at the hotel, poolside and restaurant) Breakfast buffet was amazing and offered lots of traditional items in addition to the classic fare. My advice: Forget the scrambled eggs , pancakes and doughnuts for once and give the other options a chance ! Diner was on the pricier side - it is fine dining after all- but definitely worth it! Try the Octopus and shrimp carpaccio! Minor criticisms : Pool closes at 7 pm, which is a shame given the pool bar and pool restaurant . Also, Music choice ( hip hop and 80s tunes) and volume were a bit high and out of place during breakfast, especially with the gorgeous views of the mountains and gorges in the distance. But the staff was prompt to address this once notified. Overall a great experience.
