A working farm, with such a wonderful friendly host and authentic french buildings - a proper French experience. We stayed in the ‘white cat’ room, which is behind the swimming pool (not in the main house). We are a family of 4 and had 2 x double beds and a single bed. There was a toilet and separate sink & shower in the room. Beds were comfortable, with plenty of blankets, sheets and pillows. The shared kitchen had a large fridge, 2 electric rings for cooking, plenty of saucepans, bowls, dishes, utensils. Lots of crockery and plenty seating. The pool was lovely and warm, and so refreshing after a long drive! Breakfast was lovely, with cereals, fresh bread and homemade pancakes, loads of jams!! We really enjoyed it here and chose it because of the location, pool and we could make our own dinner. When we arrived it was even better than we expected and we would definitely come back next time we are passing through.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes. Ils nous ont bien expliqué le fonctionnement de cet établissement charmant et rustique ainsi que les endroits sympa à visiter à proximité. Petit dejeuner simple mais efficace. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de transat à la piscine pour se poser tranquillement. Nous avons pu échanger avec d'autres touristes très sympa.

The Priory is unique, it has so much history and a beautiful tumbledown feel. It is a working farm and as such is quite rustic and has a lot of the older horse drawn machinery around and so many swallows and other birds are resident in the barns. There is a little kitchenette in an open barn where you can cook dinner with everything you need and the farm grows the most delicious onions. We were given a lovely breakfast of pancakes, hot chocolate for the children and 8 different type of homemade jams. We didn’t use the pool and I didn’t really fancy it, but the Seine where we went for a walk nearby looked very attractive for a paddle and had a lot of fish in it. A stunning place with so much history and peaceful nature.

Hele leuke overnachting in een historisch pand. Schone, mooie kamer en een heerlijk zwembad. We kwamen te vroeg aan maar mochten direct al gebruik maken van het zwembad en sanitaire voorzieningen die daarbij hoorden. Hele aardige eigenaresse die crêpes serveerde bij het ontbijt dus feest voor de kinderen. Enige jammere was dat op zondag alle restaurants dicht waren in de omgeving.

A wonderful place b]to stay. Sylie and her team are great hosts and very accommodating. The fact that dogs are allowed to stay is very helpful. There are good walks along the river Seine and very good local restaurants.

Suited all our needs for overnight stop with our children and 2 dogs, good communication before and during the stay and lovely to have use of the pool for our kids after a long drive! Finished off with a delicious breakfast the next morning. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Sylvie is a lovely hostess!!

L'accueil est exceptionnel et chaleureux. L'endroit est magnifique et chargé d'histoire. Les enfants peuvent y trouver une piscine chauffée. Et la situation géographique est parfaite pour visiter les environs.

Auf eine sehr freundlich und witzige Art wurden wir empfangen. Das Zimmer war wohl ursprünglich ein Pferdestall. Somit ungewöhnlich aber nicht minder angenehm für eine oder zwei Übernachtungen. Alles was es zum verweilen braucht ist vorhanden. Sauber und ordentlich. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen aber ansprechenden Charme. Definitiv keine sterile Schickmicki Unterkunft, sondern bodenständig, lebendig und ursprünglich. Der Pool ist für Kiddies perfekt.
Auf eine sehr freundlich und witzige Art wurden wir empfangen. Das Zimmer war wohl ursprünglich ein Pferdestall. Somit ungewöhnlich aber nicht minder angenehm für eine oder zwei Übernachtungen. Lovely rustic accommodation. Warm, clean and comfortable. We used as a stopover on a long drive. Was a little hard to find in the dark but the host had kindly waited up for us and was very welcoming. Lovely homemade breakfast - would definitely use again.

En revenant de Nigloland ,nous avons voulu nous passer une nuit pas très loin en famille . Endroit plein de charme , accueil chaleureux,chambre propre et très jolie . On nous a proposé un lit parapluie pour notre plus petite . Petit déjeuner excellent ,pain frais,kellogs pour les enfants et des crêpes maisons toutes chaudes avec plusieurs choix de confitures . Merci beaucoup !! Nous avons l’habitude des hôtels ,je ne regrette pas d’avoir opté pour votre chambre d’hôtes au dernier moment .

We love staying at this unique place. It’s rustic and traditional in a way that is so rare now. We always sleep so well here and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. It’s a perfect stop on the way to the alps but we always wish we could stay longer too.

If you want a truly old France experience, this is the place ! Lovely friendly couple who have turned their 19c priory into a b & b, retaining all the character and architecture of the period, as well as the furniture. Good bathroom facilities and good value for money. The surrounding rural area is stunning.

Quel accueil !!!😍😍😍 Sylvie et son mari. Sylvie, la propriétaire toujours prête à nous raconter l'histoire de ce lieu 😍😍 Toutes ces confitures préparées par Sylvie pour le petit déj 😋 un vrai régal. J'ai pû acheter des fruits et légumes de saison ( cultivé par leur fils) à commander 24h à 48h avant Un grand merci à eux

Suited all our needs for overnight stop with our children and 2 dogs, good communication before and during the stay and lovely to have use of the pool for our kids after a long drive! Finished off with a delicious breakfast the next morning. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Sylvie is a lovely hostess!!

We love staying at this unique place. It’s rustic and traditional in a way that is so rare now. We always sleep so well here and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. It’s a perfect stop on the way to the alps but we always wish we could stay longer too.

If you want a truly old France experience, this is the place ! Lovely friendly couple who have turned their 19c priory into a b & b, retaining all the character and architecture of the period, as well as the furniture. Good bathroom facilities and good value for money. The surrounding rural area is stunning.

It was a very pleasant stay. From the first moment that we entered the property, we knew it! There is a nice atmosphere and very friendly people. In the morning we got breakfast with small pancakes. You can borrow the key to visit the old church next to the Chambre d'Hotes. You hear the river, Seine, in the background. They sell some local and home made products from the farm. The price is competitive!

A working farm, with such a wonderful friendly host and authentic french buildings - a proper French experience. We stayed in the ‘white cat’ room, which is behind the swimming pool (not in the main house). We are a family of 4 and had 2 x double beds and a single bed. There was a toilet and separate sink & shower in the room. Beds were comfortable, with plenty of blankets, sheets and pillows. The shared kitchen had a large fridge, 2 electric rings for cooking, plenty of saucepans, bowls, dishes, utensils. Lots of crockery and plenty seating. The pool was lovely and warm, and so refreshing after a long drive! Breakfast was lovely, with cereals, fresh bread and homemade pancakes, loads of jams!! We really enjoyed it here and chose it because of the location, pool and we could make our own dinner. When we arrived it was even better than we expected and we would definitely come back next time we are passing through.

Lovely rustic accommodation. Warm, clean and comfortable. We used as a stopover on a long drive. Was a little hard to find in the dark but the host had kindly waited up for us and was very welcoming. Lovely homemade breakfast - would definitely use again.

The Priory is unique, it has so much history and a beautiful tumbledown feel. It is a working farm and as such is quite rustic and has a lot of the older horse drawn machinery around and so many swallows and other birds are resident in the barns. There is a little kitchenette in an open barn where you can cook dinner with everything you need and the farm grows the most delicious onions. We were given a lovely breakfast of pancakes, hot chocolate for the children and 8 different type of homemade jams. We didn’t use the pool and I didn’t really fancy it, but the Seine where we went for a walk nearby looked very attractive for a paddle and had a lot of fish in it. A stunning place with so much history and peaceful nature.

Unieke locatie en zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Lekker zwembad, heerlijk ontbijt op tijdstip naar keuze. Verse crêpes! Helaas waren de restaurants in de buurt wat laat(of niet) open op het moment dat wij er waren.

This is a unique place to stay. Part working farm, part old stone manor house. The hosts are incredibly friendly and depending on the occupancy you'll find yourself just mixing in with other guests in the shared lounge / breakfast area, outside tables etc. The rooms are not 'hotel decor' but they're comfortable (the beds in ours didn't match but both were great to sleep on). Breakfast was lovely, crepes with different toppings. We had our dog with us and he loved being able to wander around a bit (and right outside the property is a little village green / plaza). Only slight issue - not too many food options nearby (we went into Troyes, but there are a couple options closer).

De gastvrouw heeft ons zeer goed ontvangen en sprak Engels. Mooi gebouw met een mooie geschiedenis. Het zwembad was ook heel leuk. Lekker ontbijt met zelfgemaakte gerechten. De huisgemaakte confituur is een aanrader! Hier komen we zeker terug!!!!
