Enjoyed our stay and would definitely.stay again The cabin was clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The place was quiet and the lake was nice and clear. Caught fish off the dock as well on the lake. Used the pontoon, the kayaks, canoes and paddle board. Really enjoyed sitting out on the deck. There was plenty of firewood for bonfires. Couple of issues a broken recliner, low battery beeped in the fireplace the entire time we were there and the basement had a musty smell.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was well taken care of, fully stocked with kitchen things and towels, and plenty of space. The yard, dock, and beach were all nice as well. Judd was an excellent host and answered my questions in a very timely manner. I would stay here again in a heart beat!!

We stayed here last summer, loved it so much we came back. It’s in a lovely quiet cove of the lake, plenty of beds, great deck and the pontoon rental price can’t be beat!

We had the best time! So quiet and peaceful. Daily walks, kayak rides, paddle boat rides, nighttime fires at the firepit. Couldn't have asked for more. The home and property is beautiful.

With 6 adults, we had far more cabin than we technically needed, but appreciated the space. Very clean--no musty odors. The place had everything we needed (firewood, boat to rent onsite, modern appliances, wifi, etc). They seem very concerned about noise after 10pm, but we talked around the firepit after 10 without incident. Probably not best place for a wilder group. Definitely recommend.

We had a great friends weekend here! The kitchen is super super well equipped, which was great for our group that loves to cook. The fireplace was great for a wintertime stay and Judd was a super communicative, helpful host.

Perfect set up for a group of 8. We could not have been happier wit our stay. Property was clean and welcoming, bed comfortable and kitchen well stocked. The view of the calm and beautiful lake was the best. Plenty of water toys for all. We had a quick storm with an outdoor table top that shatered when the wind lifted the umbrella. Judd was quick to respond to storm damage infomation and offered help if we needed it. I would definitely stay here again.

Lots of space for just the two of us, but we had a nice chill weekend! We played some games (provided at the house), watched some movies, spent time outdoors, and ate some good food. The house was super clean and well-stocked—the kitchen had some of the best utensils and appliances we’ve encountered at a rental. Overall great stay! Thank you!

Immaculate home on a beautiful lake. Host was very responsive & easy to reach. The perfect spot to explore the local towns & shops. Don’t forget to get up before sunrise & see the stars from your back deck! Had a terrific pizza & game of pool @ Moonlight Bay in Crosslake & a delicious birthday pie from the A-Pine Restaurant. Ventured up to Itasca State park to see the Mississippi headwaters, hiked trails & even saw a pair of bald eagles.Great home & first time visit to MN.

We had 8 guys stay in this cool A frame house. The house was spacious with a cozy feel. The deck was a great place to hang out with a view of the lake. The lake water is so clear that you could see fish and the bottom of the lake in 5-6 feet of water. We would love to stay here again in the future!

The property was wonderful, with a spacious indoor area (lovely large windows), and the large deck! The lake was so quiet when we were there and the pontoon- a great bonus! Before we left we were already talking about coming back.

Cabin was great! Plenty of beds, all comfy. Good common spaces, updated kitchen. Smaller, quieter lake with no big motor boats, which was lovely. Bonus pontoon with the cabin. Host was super responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. Would recommend!

Enjoyed our stay and would definitely.stay again The cabin was clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The place was quiet and the lake was nice and clear. Caught fish off the dock as well on the lake. Used the pontoon, the kayaks, canoes and paddle board. Really enjoyed sitting out on the deck. There was plenty of firewood for bonfires. Couple of issues a broken recliner, low battery beeped in the fireplace the entire time we were there and the basement had a musty smell.

We visited the cabin in the winter and the fireplace / ambiance was great. Beautiful remote scenery with access to dining and activities. The host was very communicative and the cabin provided a perfect place with the appropriate amenities for a relaxing winter retreat.

We stayed here last summer, loved it so much we came back. It’s in a lovely quiet cove of the lake, plenty of beds, great deck and the pontoon rental price can’t be beat!

We had the best time! So quiet and peaceful. Daily walks, kayak rides, paddle boat rides, nighttime fires at the firepit. Couldn't have asked for more. The home and property is beautiful.

Immaculate home on a beautiful lake. Host was very responsive & easy to reach. The perfect spot to explore the local towns & shops. Don’t forget to get up before sunrise & see the stars from your back deck! Had a terrific pizza & game of pool @ Moonlight Bay in Crosslake & a delicious birthday pie from the A-Pine Restaurant. Ventured up to Itasca State park to see the Mississippi headwaters, hiked trails & even saw a pair of bald eagles.Great home & first time visit to MN.

The property was wonderful, with a spacious indoor area (lovely large windows), and the large deck! The lake was so quiet when we were there and the pontoon- a great bonus! Before we left we were already talking about coming back.

Wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back next summer! Two days was not long enough. Very generous to offer the pontoon. We enjoyed the calm beauty of the lake! Thank you to Judd as well.

Perfect cabin for large groups. Close to several golf courses and restaurants to help break up long vacations. Highlight of this cabin is the private fire pit and large deck in the backyard overlooking the lake.

Nice cabin but you can definitely can tell some of it’s been updated but some really need to be. The kitchen was the nicest part of the home. Very well stocked with all the things we needed to cook.The lake was nice but it became clear to us far too late that it was a PRIVATE LAKE which we could not launch our own fishing boats onto. Lots of beds packed in pretty efficiently. Great of you have a bunch of people that don’t mind sharing rooms.The hvac had a really hard time keeping up anywhere but the basement on the 80 day we had.The owner was around on the property and mostly stayed on the other side of a makeshift fence that splits the VRBO from the detached garage. We knew he would be from a message he sent after booking but it did make some of our group uncomfortable that he was in the attached garage a few times while we were in the house. The Star Lake was beautiful and the kayaks, pedal-boat, and canoe were a huge hit for us as we were able to explore and fish on Round Lake and Little Bass Lake through the very shallow channels.
