We stayed here for one night during a fishing trip to Lake Fork. It was very convenient and close to the lake, with plenty of parking. Tina was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Clear Lakes Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay that won’t break the bank.

While not particularly overflowing with amenities, all the basic needs were definitely there. Room was clean, propety seems to be maintained and parking was easy. Everything you need for the basics was good and surprisingly there was even a mini-fridge and dresser, which was cool. I would say for the price point and closeness to Mineola and Winnsboro if you need to work or travel there, was worth it. Staff was super nice and friendly!

My husband and I were in town for a fishing tournament and I booked a king non smoking room checked in to our room the trash wasn’t emptied, bed covers were dirty, and pillows unmade, condoms on floor in shower, just disgusting. We made the staff aware and was moved to another room with double beds…imagine that on a husband and wife trip. This room was cleaner but wreaked with the smell of smoke but said non smoking. There were people outside walking around all during the night which made us feel unsafe we decided not to stay our second night but was charged for the first night. This is by far the WORST place I have ever booked a stay… I would not recommend.

Dirty wash cloth on the arm of the chair when you walk in room. the thin walls with a lady of the evening doing business at 1:30. AM. We left at 1:45 am and there was a mouse in the room. Other than that. Wish there was -3. We drove to Greenville Holiday Inn to got a second hotel for the same night.

Awesome owners and very accommodating. However, they are in the process of renovating the entire property and apparently don’t have much time to clean the rooms. The floors were filthy and the bed linens were not very clean. Before our departure we looked under the beds to make sure that we didn’t leave anything. One could tell that they had not cleaned under them in quite sometime.

The room was wonderful. The shower had great water pressure and was wonderfully hot. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked like a charm. The room was very clean and the gentleman checking me in was so polite. I'll come stay here again.

Surprisingly\xa0for the price a super great hotel to stay, clean, comfortable bed, lot of towels and the front desk nice and helpful the only thing if you wake up easily with any noise be aware that this hotel is in front of a main highway so it’s a route for cars and eighteen wheelers and also construction crews stay there so Saturday morning around 6am will be some extra noise but in my case I don’t get affected for noises so I was good there, recommended place to stay if your budget is limited.

The property was clean & well kept; the bed was very comfortable. My negatives are no nightstand, only 2 hard plastic chairs to sit on & had to plug my phone charger in the bathroom. I’ve never stayed at a property that didn’t have a nightstand with an electric outlet nearby so you could have a glass of water or whatever readily available & your phone right next to you.

Great, affordable place to stay. The only complaint I have is that the a/c was completely off when we arrived. Extremely hot and had to wait on the room to cool down. We arrived at midnight so obviously we were ready for bed and it took an hour to cool off. Other than that, the place was great. I would recommend turning the a/c on prior to guest arrival.

The staff was prompt when I arrived. And even when I forgot my key in the room at 3:00 a.m. they were so kind to give me a fresh one. I would recommend this place to anyone staying through the night.

We were a little worried when we checked in. Lots of long term guests sitting out in front of their rooms smoking. The room itself was excellent, yes it is an older motel, but extremely clean, updated lighting and furnishings. Surprisingly the bed was extremely comfortable and even with all the long term it was quiet. Overall it was a very nice room.

Staff would not answer the phone, acted like they didn't want to talk to you at the window. Especially the man . No clean towels in the entire four night stay , and the bed was positioned in a way that it was very difficult to get into the bathroom. People next door stayed up till nearly three a.m. every night. When they left, they left a huge pile of trash in the parking lot. I go somewhere else next time! ☹️

First night was descent, floor was a little dirty,but no big deal. I extended my stay twice, when I went to desk to speak to them, they were not rude, but not friendly either. The man was yelling in another language and I got the impression there was an issue with me being at the desk. They gave me a number to call to speak to them but no one answered and I could not leave a message. Additionally they never cleaned the room , changed the linen or gave clean towels in my four nights there. One bed was positioned in the room so that it blocked the bathroom entrance. You had to squeeze your body between the bed and doorway, extremely awkward. Pretty sure I won't come back here. The room was one thing, but I don't have patience with people who raise their voice and act like your bothering them.

First night was descent, floor was a little dirty,but no big deal. I extended my stay twice, when I went to desk to speak to them, they were not rude, but not friendly either. The man was yelling in another language and I got the impression there was an issue with me being at the desk. They gave me a number to call to speak to them but no one answered and I could not leave a message. Additionally they never cleaned the room , changed the linen or gave clean towels in my four nights there. One bed was positioned in the room so that it blocked the bathroom entrance. You had to squeeze your body between the bed and doorway, extremely awkward. Pretty sure I won't come back here.
