From the second we were dropped off by our shuttle, we were greeted by Sharon & Eric and given a tour of the property and the keys to our villa. Sharon & Eric are so inviting and go above and beyond making you feel extremely welcomed. The villas are beautiful and very well appointed. The grounds and pool are beautiful and very well maintained and the breakfast crew were amazing and exceeded our expectations daily. We loved our time at Villa Piña.

The grounds and pool are beautiful and very well maintained and the breakfast crew were amazing and exceeded our expectations daily. We loved our time at Villa Piña.

Excellent stay in the Caribbean. Beautiful property. Gardens are amazing. Filled with geckos, dart frogs, squirrels and sloths. Just to name the ones we saw every day. Spacious comfortable room. Delicious traditional style breakfast each morning in the garden and the pot of coffee waiting for us on our private patio each morning was a perfect start to the day. Eric and Sharon are terrific hosts. Their attention to detail is superb.
Excellent stay in the Caribbean. Beautiful property. Gardens are amazing. Filled with geckos, dart frogs, squirrels and sloths. Just to name the ones we saw every day. Spacious comfortable room. Eric und Shannon sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Sie stehen beide mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Hotelanlage ist fantastisch. Tolle Zimmer sehr schöner Pool überall Tiere. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer und alle Angestellte sehr sehr freundlich. Es war ein wenig im Paradies. Dankeschön an alle.

Our hosts, Eric and Sharon were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The morning breakfast was a dining experience. Staff was friendly and eager to help. The premises and gardens were beautiful and well maintained. There was plenty of wildlife on the premises, from a variety of birds to sloths. Would highly recommend.

Villas Pina is a wonderfull place to stay on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. It is beautifully landscaped by the owners Eric and Sharon. We had a roomy space with a private deck clost to the dining area and pool. The entire compound is enclosed at night to keep the owner\'s dogs inside so it is very safe. There are a couple of "resident" slothes that we were able to watch and numerous birds. The Lodge has its own private beach area which is quiet and beautiful. Good restaurants are nearby.

Absolut tolle Unterkunft. Der Garten ist wunderschön, wir haben viele Tiere gesehen (z.B. Tukan beim Frühstück). Das Frühstück war das beste, welches wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Die Lage abseits vom Stadtzentrum aber dennoch praktisch für Ausflüge hat uns ser gefallen. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und haben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Eric & Sharon were lovely. They have built an incredible property. The villas are absolutely perfect. We truly enjoyed learning about all of the plants and animals on their property. They have two beautiful dogs, 6 cats, and a resident sloth named Pearl. Breakfast is delicious. The "secret path" to the beach is delightful. Several of Eric's recommendations were spot on! Make sure to go to Lidia's restaurant. (Yellow curry shrimp was primo!) And definitely ask about an outing with Alex. You will learn all about his farm, see many animals, and kayak to the beach. It was our favorite outing! Thank you Eric and Sharon. We will definitely return!

This is a lovely oasis and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Eric and Sharon are exceptional hosts and the care and attention to detail is evident in everything, from the pristine, comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfasts to the beautiful grounds - with resident sloths! Highly recommend.

The grounds were spectacular and very well maintained. The hosts exceeded our expectations! They were helpful and always around if we needed anything. The included breakfast was amazing, fresh juice, eggs, fresh baking and granola with fresh fruit.

Wir verbrachten tolle Tage in der wundervollen Villenanlage. Die Bungalows sind im sehr natürlich gepflegten und großzügigen Garten eingebettet. Hier konnten wir jeden Tag viele Vögel, Schmetterlinge und Faultiere beobachten und genossen die Ruhe abseits vom Trubel der Stadt. Trotzdem ist man schnell in der Stadt. Der Strand ist auch gut zu erreichen. Die Bungalows sind modern eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist das beste in ganz Costa Rica. Eric und Shannon sind perfekte Gastgeber. Besonders Eric hat uns mit wertvollen Hinweisen und Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt. Wir sagen Danke für eine tolle Zeit.

Es handelt sich um ein Hotel mit fünf Bungalows, die in perfekten Zustand sind und von einem sehr freundlichen Ehepaar betreut werden. Frühstück ist inbegriffen, es handelt sich hier um ein typisch Mittel amerikanisches Frühstück, reichhaltig, sehr wohlschmeckend und alles selbst vor den eigenen Augen angerichtet.
Es handelt sich um ein Hotel mit fünf Bungalows, die in perfekten Zustand sind und von einem sehr freundlichen Ehepaar betreut werden. Frühstück ist inbegriffen, es handelt sich hier um ein typisch Mittel amerikanisches Frühstück, reichhaltig, sehr wohlschmeckend und alles selbst vor den eigenen Augen angerichtet.

Auch auf Google habe ich bereits eine ausführliche Bewertung geschrieben. Von allen Hotels in denen wir in Costa Rica waren war diese Unterkunft mit Abstand die beste. Die Zimmer sind genau wie auf den Fotos und super geräumig wie auch sauber. Es gibt jeden Morgen ein umfangreiches leckeres Frühstück und es wird einem zusätzlich auf den Veranda frischer Kaffee gebracht. Eric und Sharon sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Aber auch das Personal insgesamt war super nett. Wir würden auch bei unserem nächsten Costa Rica Urlaub mit Sicherheit einen Abstecher nach Puerto Viejo ins Villas Pinas machen. Es gab absolut nichts was wir schlecht fanden alles war top! Ich kann jedem diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen

Loved every moment of our 8-night stay. Here are some things we loved: the comfortable, clean villa with the kitchen, our private, back porch with hammock, the coffee delivery to our porch every morning, the delicious breakfasts taken outside in the garden surrounded by bird song, Eric's recommendations and the friendliness of the people who work at Villas Pina. Thank you, Eric, Sharon and all Villas Pina staff for an absolutely terrific stay! We will be back.

Here are some things we loved: the comfortable, clean villa with the kitchen, our private, back porch with hammock, the coffee delivery to our porch every morning, the delicious breakfasts taken outside in the garden surrounded by bird song, Eric's recommendations and the friendliness of the people who work at Villas Pina. Thank you, Eric, Sharon and all Villas Pina staff for an absolutely terrific stay! We will be back.

Villas Pina is a wonderfull place to stay on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. It is beautifully landscaped by the owners Eric and Sharon. We had a roomy space with a private deck clost to the dining area and pool. The entire compound is enclosed at night to keep the owner\'s dogs inside so it is very safe. There are a couple of "resident" slothes that we were able to watch and numerous birds. The Lodge has its own private beach area which is quiet and beautiful. Good restaurants are nearby.

Der Empfang war super nett und angenehm. Das Zimmer und die gesamte Ausstattung war einfach nur wunderschön. Auch der Service, dass man morgens schon einen Kaffe auf die Terrasse gestellt bekommen hat war himmlisch. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls der Hammer. Wir hatten in unserem gesamten Urlaub kein so leckeres Essen. Diese Unterkunft können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

This is a lovely oasis and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Eric and Sharon are exceptional hosts and the care and attention to detail is evident in everything, from the pristine, comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfasts to the beautiful grounds - with resident sloths! Highly recommend.

There is not enough good things to say about this property and the owners. The place is beautiful, the breakfast each morning was delicious and filling, coffee brought to the rooms each morning was a great plus! But more importantly - Eric and Sharon will go above and beyond to make each of their guests feel welcomed, and offer tips and suggestions for places to stop and/or eat. Eric will also answer his phone in an emergency and will help make sure you have everything you need! Would highly recommend, and hope to visit again!

From the second we were dropped off by our shuttle, we were greeted by Sharon & Eric and given a tour of the property and the keys to our villa. Sharon & Eric are so inviting and go above and beyond making you feel extremely welcomed. The villas are beautiful and very well appointed. The grounds and pool are beautiful and very well maintained and the breakfast crew were amazing and exceeded our expectations daily. We loved our time at Villa Piña.

This was an amazing property with lovely, patient staff, and owners who had an answer for each of the (many, many) questions we had. The area is beautiful and safe, and the owners make it a point to make sure guests are getting what they want out of a vacation. Thank you for nudging us to bike to Punta Uva, Eric. Next time -maybe- we'll consider rafting from the airport 😉

Absolut tolle Unterkunft. Der Garten ist wunderschön, wir haben viele Tiere gesehen (z.B. Tukan beim Frühstück). Das Frühstück war das beste, welches wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Die Lage abseits vom Stadtzentrum aber dennoch praktisch für Ausflüge hat uns ser gefallen. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und haben uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Eric and Sharon were excellent hosts. The breakfast fit the local cuisine and tasted amazing. The common areas and the room were perfect for relaxing before or after an exciting day along the Caribbean Coast. Eric's recommendations for local activities were spot on each day. We really felt care for while we were guests.

I literally have never stayed at a more stunning oasis with nicer hosts in my life. The attention to detail and love and care for their home and visitors time in their home and in their city is phenomenal. The personal touches, the caring conversations, the love for their pets and wildlife and nature …. I truly could go on and on. Eric and Sharon were exceptional and if I could recommend more than 5* I would in a heart beat Thank you for a wonderful experience

I can only praise and give positive feedback!! Lovely place & lovely couple who owns it and takes care of you, proposes activities, tells stories about the food, locations etc. Lovely breakfast available every morning, in adittion to the coffee available every morning, which they bring to your room. Lovely place with sloths, birds etc around the premises. Lovely location a bit out of town but close to a nice beach, a store and still only a few min drive from town.

It was amazing and one of the best hotels that I have stayed, attention was on point and very friendly and personally. Owners of the property are the BEST, if you are looking for pleasant and comfortable hotel, this is the one. Cozy, convenience, great location, breakfast is also wonderful

Wir verbrachten tolle Tage in der wundervollen Villenanlage. Die Bungalows sind im sehr natürlich gepflegten und großzügigen Garten eingebettet. Hier konnten wir jeden Tag viele Vögel, Schmetterlinge und Faultiere beobachten und genossen die Ruhe abseits vom Trubel der Stadt. Trotzdem ist man schnell in der Stadt. Der Strand ist auch gut zu erreichen. Die Bungalows sind modern eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist das beste in ganz Costa Rica. Eric und Shannon sind perfekte Gastgeber. Besonders Eric hat uns mit wertvollen Hinweisen und Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt. Wir sagen Danke für eine tolle Zeit.

Eric & Sharon were lovely. They have built an incredible property. The villas are absolutely perfect. We truly enjoyed learning about all of the plants and animals on their property. They have two beautiful dogs, 6 cats, and a resident sloth named Pearl. Breakfast is delicious. The "secret path" to the beach is delightful. Several of Eric's recommendations were spot on! Make sure to go to Lidia's restaurant. (Yellow curry shrimp was primo!) And definitely ask about an outing with Alex. You will learn all about his farm, see many animals, and kayak to the beach. It was our favorite outing! Thank you Eric and Sharon. We will definitely return!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Es gab tolles Frühstück. Wasser und Kaffee stand ganztägig zur Verfügung. Sogar das Toilettenpapier kann aufgrund eines eigenen Klärsystems in die Toilette geworfen werden 😃. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage!

Es handelt sich um ein Hotel mit fünf Bungalows, die in perfekten Zustand sind und von einem sehr freundlichen Ehepaar betreut werden. Frühstück ist inbegriffen, es handelt sich hier um ein typisch Mittel amerikanisches Frühstück, reichhaltig, sehr wohlschmeckend und alles selbst vor den eigenen Augen angerichtet.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Villas Pina! Stayed 4 nights here in April. The 6 rooms all have the same layout and are very practical and spacious. There is a small kitchen with a large fridge, safety box and 2 queen beds! Also there is a large veranda and you get coffee every morning before breakfast, which we very much enjoyed while watching one of the sloth in the mango tree in front of us. The owners Sharon and Eric were really helpful and explained everything and gave some recommendations for activities in the area and restaurants! We felt very welcome. What really stood out for us was the breakfast, we were looking forward to this every day. Fresh coffee with a fruit & granola bowl and everyday something freshly baked by the staff (banana bread, pineapple muffin etc.) Plus eggs of your choice. It was delicious every day!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Es gab tolles Frühstück. Wasser und Kaffee stand ganztägig zur Verfügung. Sogar das Toilettenpapier kann aufgrund eines eigenen Klärsystems in die Toilette geworfen werden 😃. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage!
