I wished I booked for 2 nights. It was wonderful. Bed was so comfortable, staff very friendly. My only regret is I didn’t time to enjoy the amazing bathtub!

vd Valk hotels altijd heel goed . Maar waar ik nu ben geweest Nieuwerkerk aan de IJssel verschrikkelijke kamer bed doorgezakt en er gauw een topper op gelegd om het te verdoezelen en slecht opgemaakt haast niet geslapen. Ook geen informatie map op de kamer dat bij vd Valk altijd aanwezig is met een presentie.verzin als je naar dat hotel vd Valk ga en dat voor 214 euro voor de kamer zonder iets.

Maar waar ik nu ben geweest Nieuwerkerk aan de IJssel verschrikkelijke kamer bed doorgezakt en er gauw een topper op gelegd om het te verdoezelen en slecht opgemaakt haast niet geslapen. Was given a ground floor room, where two ‘walls’ were all completely glazed, with sliding opening, overlooking a river directly outside, with a beautiful view all round. Good sized bathroom with large bath & separate spacious shower cubicle. The most pleasant hotel room I’ve experienced.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay. The beds are very comfortable and a good size bathroom. I had a meal with relatives on the evening of my stay and found the service extremely slow although the food was good. I stayed in room 305 and I reported a very serious trip hazard to the reception staff on check out. There is a step from the bedroom into the bathroom which I tripped over on arrival. The carpet in the bedroom is dark and the tiles on the step are dark so you can't see it plus you don't expect the bathroom and bedroom areas to be on 2 different levels. I was lucky as I was wearing shoes and have good balance which saved me from serious injury. This needs to be addressed before there is a very serious accident. I have added a photo so you can see how dangerous this is.

Mooi, net en ruim hotel. Personeel (zowel bij receptie als bij de bar) was niet erg verwelkomend, ze leken er weinig zin in te hebben. Niet direct wat je mag verwachten van een 4-sterren hotel. Bagagekar was niet beschikbaar en er werd verder geen moeite gedaan terwijl wij veel koffers bij ons hadden. Het verblijf zelf was top.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay. The beds are very comfortable and a good size bathroom. I had a meal with relatives on the evening of my stay and found the service extremely slow although the food was good. I stayed in room 305 and I reported a very serious trip hazard to the reception staff on check out. There is a step from the bedroom into the bathroom which I tripped over on arrival. The carpet in the bedroom is dark and the tiles on the step are dark so you can't see it plus you don't expect the bathroom and bedroom areas to be on 2 different levels. I was lucky as I was wearing shoes and have good balance which saved me from serious injury. This needs to be addressed before there is a very serious accident. I have added a photo so you can see how dangerous this is.

Balkontür fest verschlossen, also keine Frischluft möglich. Unendlich viele zerquetschte Insekten auf dem Sonnenschutz, Kühlschrank nicht gefüllt, nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Was given a ground floor room, where two ‘walls’ were all completely glazed, with sliding opening, overlooking a river directly outside, with a beautiful view all round. Good sized bathroom with large bath & separate spacious shower cubicle. The most pleasant hotel room I’ve experienced.

vd Valk hotels altijd heel goed . Maar waar ik nu ben geweest Nieuwerkerk aan de IJssel verschrikkelijke kamer bed doorgezakt en er gauw een topper op gelegd om het te verdoezelen en slecht opgemaakt haast niet geslapen. Ook geen informatie map op de kamer dat bij vd Valk altijd aanwezig is met een presentie.verzin als je naar dat hotel vd Valk ga en dat voor 214 euro voor de kamer zonder iets.
