Top location, amazing view, good restaurant, but very dirty pool area, indoor pool and wirlpool were great…. Impossible to book a massage… never clear answers… not overwhelming breakfast

Absolutely beautiful location, our room had view over the water heated indoor pool ( it was winter time so we didn’t try the outdoor infinity pool that overlooks the river) very comfortable room, bed and we each booked 60 minute massages at the hotel fitness area one of the best we’ve ever had . The only disappointment was the food and service was hit & miss- some were absolutely fantastic others not very good - could be language barrier? As very few spoke English & while my Spanish was fine in Montevideo - I really struggled with some of the restaurant staff who spoke really quickly and their dialect was harder to understand.
