Hotellet var sammanbyggt med två andra hotell, så frukosten serverades på grannhotellet, mycket bra frukost. Hade städning av rummet 2ggr/dag vilket vi aldrig varit med om på tidigare hotell. Bra läge till city och till Lidoområdet. Härlig blommande trädgård med korgmöbler. Flera bra restauranger i närområdet. Ett hotell som vi gärna kommer tillbaka till.

Hotellet är en del av en resort och man har tillgång till flera pooler. Väldigt fräscht och ligger hyfsat centralt. Väldigt bra frukost

A great hotel in a nice location. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and tidy. The property had the feel of a grand plantation house. The only thing letting it down was the slight complexity over the amenities. Whilst it has its own pool, everything else you require, such as food, bars, larger pools, etc., needs to be accessed from the Pestana hotels next door, which can be accessed through a route within the grounds. We found the breakfast area well, but never found the bar or other areas, as it was slightly confusing. I think a quality onsite restaurant would be a real asset here, along with some evening entertainment. We went out to nearby restaurants every night, as we didn’t feel the hotel had much to offer in this regards. We had a few small issues with housekeeping, but once we raised the problems, they were quick to remedy them. The hotel is situated about 20-25 min walk from the main town of Funchal - so within a reasonable difference. For the price of this hotel, I think things like an airport transit service would be nice. Overall a nice establishment, with good and knowledgeable staff. Felt more like a bed and breakfast facility. There was no room service, to the best of our knowledge. The acid test is always, would you stay again - I would say “yes” but probably when the rooms were on sale price etc. I would certainly recommend the hotel. Clean, good quality, and nice staff. A little expensive for the amenities on offer but otherwise great.
