Excellent room, noticeably better than most hotels -- a bit bigger, better condition, nicer beds, just all-around higher quality than most. Very clean. And maybe it was just the nice weather, but when the AC unit came on, it generally only had to stay on briefly, and then it was quiet again for a long time -- and it stayed very comfortable. It was also quite a bit quieter than most other hotels. Plus, on the ground floor, the rooms have patio doors opening right by the parking lot, which makes it easier to load and unload. On top of that, you can go out the back door and are only about 30' from the door of the bar & grill next door, which has good food, drinks, and service. I truly wish all hotels were this nice!

Not thilled about the sliding glass doors on lower level rooms. Not very secure and one side of the hotel they just open to the parking lot. Was a bit noisey with kids running the halls on the floor above us.

This is a nice little hotel (2 stories, no elevator) in a very small town next to a lake. There is also a good restaurant literally next to the hotel that I highly recommend. Hotel breakfast is fine. The fitness center is just one small room with a treadmill and elliptical. The lake is beautiful but otherwise there is not much else in the area. We stayed here because we were travelling to Storm Lake, IA for an event (about 30 minutes away).

This is a nice little hotel (2 stories, no elevator) in a very small town next to a lake. There is also a good restaurant literally next to the hotel that I highly recommend. Hotel breakfast is fine. We really appreciated how clean and neat not only the room but hotel in general. The resturant was welcoming and the food was very good. The service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again when in area.

Excellent room, noticeably better than most hotels -- a bit bigger, better condition, nicer beds, just all-around higher quality than most. Very clean. And maybe it was just the nice weather, but when the AC unit came on, it generally only had to stay on briefly, and then it was quiet again for a long time -- and it stayed very comfortable. It was also quite a bit quieter than most other hotels. Plus, on the ground floor, the rooms have patio doors opening right by the parking lot, which makes it easier to load and unload. On top of that, you can go out the back door and are only about 30' from the door of the bar & grill next door, which has good food, drinks, and service. I truly wish all hotels were this nice!

We took an overnight trip to Lake View to hang out with family and hit the lake a couple of times. Cobblestone was great! It was reasonably priced and everything was exactly as needed and expected. We especially appreciated breakfast.

This is a nice little hotel (2 stories, no elevator) in a very small town next to a lake. There is also a good restaurant literally next to the hotel that I highly recommend. Hotel breakfast is fine. The fitness center is just one small room with a treadmill and elliptical. The lake is beautiful but otherwise there is not much else in the area. We stayed here because we were travelling to Storm Lake, IA for an event (about 30 minutes away).

Nice quiet and clean rooms, lobby and hallways. The breakfast was great and the kitchen area was nicely cleaned between guests. We will be back!

We really appreciated how clean and neat not only the room but hotel in general. The resturant was welcoming and the food was very good. The service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again when in area.

When I arrived there were dehumidifiers lining the hallway. That concerned me, but when I got to my room the musty odor was overpowering. I opened my sliding glass door to try to air it out, but that was not helpful. I was going to request another room, but the other wedding guests I was with also had very musty smelling rooms, so I don't think that would have helped as it seems most of the rooms were musty. While i understand this can happen with a motel next to a lake, I just wish they would have been upfront about it. I was never so glad to leave...my clothes that I had in my suitcase smelled musty when I arrived home it was so bad. Not sure I would take the chance and stay here again. Otherwise the rooms were clean, just wish it would not have stunk so bad.

For being in a rual small town area I was suprised to find something this nice close to where we needed to be. I would stay with these properties anywhere anytime. It had it all. Everything worked. Very well kept. Great staff. Right nextbto a great restaurant.
