Grand Hotel National Luzern

Room was incredible and hotel itself was very clean and friendly, pool is perfectly useable and just warm enough for a comfortable swim, location is also great. Our only issue with this hotel was the restaurants, prices were EXTREMELY high and portion sizes are laughable.. If you stay here I recommend using other restaurants nearby to make sure you are full without having to spend 200+ just to have a standard meal. Other than this it was a very pleasant stay.

Room was great! Staff just only the one that I checked in with she saw us and avoided it till another staff came in then she hurry to check us in. But overall was great.

Reception (didnt take down her name) was marvellous. We got upgraded to a lake view room, we didnt mention it was our anniversary. Prosseco was offered at check in, what a treat. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. Views to the mountains and lake were breathtaking from our balcony.

The staff was very generous and nice to work with! If you are traveling from the states, make sure to ask for extra pillows as our were quite flat and the bed was lumpy. The pool, sauna, and location were worth paying for, but the room was very small overall.
