This hotel surpassed my expectations! It was clean, the staff were super friendly and overall a lovely place to be. What added a cherry on the cake was the breakfast! It was so good, I loved the items to choose from and the quality and atmosphere was wonderful. The only negative feedback would be the onsite parking, its great but if only it was half the price or free for hotel guests. Other than that, this place is by far one of the best hotels ive stayed In. Thank you to all the staff for making this stay one of my favorite experiences.

Everything was very good. However having to go downstairs for milk when you expect some milk in the room and only have to go down for extras. The hotel staff and stay was excellent. Do be aware that the carpark is private and costs a lot! This will stop me staying next time

It was a decent room for a good price. Friendly check in. Comfortable and quiet. Parking charge is high. Use the pay and display across the road. Love the history of the building. That should be displayed in some way. Would stay again.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful including assisting with paying for hotels car parking £8 for 24hrs. Double bedroom was adequate if a little tired in places ie bathroom, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast which was included in the price i paid had full English, cereals, fruit, yogurts, etc. Serving staff again were friendly too.

Likes; Interesting old building, near the station. Good breakfast included. Decent rooms and apartments. Friendly staff. Dislikes; Strange bar hours, closed on a weekend unless football is on, then shuts at 1500 ?????? Have to use the pub next door, but feel they are really missing a trick.

Couldn’t get a parking space, although parking was cheaper over the rd by almost double. Room very bare, not homely at all. Beds could do with replacement for sure. Breakfast I was told it would be continental at £7 per person which I paid for the night before. On arriving to breakfast next morning, shocking, drink wise was fine offering orange juice, apple juice as well as tea and coffee but the food, it was the food that was shocking. A couple of cereal bars, porridge pots which you add water to, very few yogurts,a couple variety box’s of cereal, 2 pieces of brown bread, 4 white. Cakes and cookies. When toasting bread, hardly browned bread, 2nd time burnt bread! Would never stay at this hotel again, by far was worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at

Was very pleased to discover this hotel. Beautiful building, room was as good as the other hotel group we normally use. Small points to mention, towels are small, and we had no soap in the bathroom, toilet seat was dirty, had to wash it before I could use it. Otherwise very happy with our stay, will definitely use again.

Room was a good size and very clean,bed really comfatable,Tea and Coffee in good supply also could get extras from reception. We went to tge Clarenden Pub which is 2 mins walk from the hotel,really friendly and we had Sunday Roast there and it was to die for.If we go back to Hull we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again

I always stay here when in Hull, it's a lovely hotel, close to the centre, the rooms are always clean and well maintained and the beds are so comfortable.

Really easy check in and helpful staff. Really comfortable and clean room, with huge amounts of space. The bed was really comfy and with crisp fresh white linens. The building is really interesting due to it's history and it's conveniently located near the central shopping district of Hull. The breakfast was a real highlight!

The actual room was decent (minus the brown stains on the walls and sofa). However when we pulled up to the hotel we thought we were catfished!The outside building and grounds were unkept and rundown. Inside the lobby and hallway the carpets we dank, dingy, and dirty. The room itself looked like it had been remodeled quite a bit compared to the outside.

We booked the twin room (2 adults and 2 under 2 years) the room was clean large and with two king beds. The room had air con (but no fridge) cooked breakfast is by order (full English with veg sausage options) uncooked cereals, drinks, fruits is buffet style. The hotel has all the basics on point and the staff are great.

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city center. Hotel staff were kind and helpful. The bed was awful, pillows completely flat. Room was very basic but had everything necessary.

Based on reviews opted iver a much more expensive brand in close proximity. (Tree x2) Its positioned itself to become attractive for investment and although only a single night was plesemtly surprised. Room large and clean. Bathrokm was a little small for the size but not really a issue. Materials in bathroom were budget but good condition Didnt try resturant, tesco accross.the road.

The room was opposite the shopping centre/ roads with boy racers racing up and down the road. Very Loud which settled around midnight. Overall the staff were lovely but the clientele staying in this hotel were football fans who were on "it"and made quite the racket...not ideal, would never stay here again.

It really was a great stay with a warm welcome from David, a massive room with a kingsize bed that was super comfy and very clean. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. I only had one problem and that was that the shower was too hot due to the thermostat having broken, I reported it late at night and it was fixed by half past eight the following morning. All in all a great stay and I would most definately stay again, due to other committments I only managed to eat at the restaurant once and opted for the Mexican burger that came with a very generous helping of onion rings, chunky chips and salad, I am a big eater but just could not manage it all.

Check in was very Easy. And the receptionist was very helpful . Easy to find from Hull Railway station.I went though the St Stephen Shopping centre and out the other end down the path and hotel is just across the road. Nice room with nice bathroom. TV and could get the red button on the BBC. Breakfast was free and I was not expecting much but was great Choice of cerials, Fruit juice. You have to fill in a small slip for cooked breakfast one sausage one bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, tomatoes, beans. Breakfast came from the kitchen and was hot horray. Not under infa red lights where it is mostly cold in other hotels. Only one coffee machine. Toast and Crumpets, Crossiants, danish pastry's, muffins. Hotel nice and clean there is no lift. but stairs were quite good. so i would stay here again.

Mattresses need to be changed, breakfast service not great and all seemed quote short staffed. Have to pay for parking so add that into the cost. Very clean and a lot of space in the room.

It's a fantastic property and friendly staff and clean rooms. Very close to city center, train station and hospital.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful including assisting with paying for hotels car parking £8 for 24hrs. Double bedroom was adequate if a little tired in places ie bathroom, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast which was included in the price i paid had full English, cereals, fruit, yogurts, etc. Serving staff again were friendly too.

The room was opposite the shopping centre/ roads with boy racers racing up and down the road. Very Loud which settled around midnight. Overall the staff were lovely but the clientele staying in this hotel were football fans who were on "it"and made quite the racket...not ideal, would never stay here again.

Check in was very Easy. And the receptionist was very helpful . Easy to find from Hull Railway station.I went though the St Stephen Shopping centre and out the other end down the path and hotel is just across the road. Nice room with nice bathroom. TV and could get the red button on the BBC. Breakfast was free and I was not expecting much but was great Choice of cerials, Fruit juice. You have to fill in a small slip for cooked breakfast one sausage one bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, tomatoes, beans. Breakfast came from the kitchen and was hot horray. Not under infa red lights where it is mostly cold in other hotels. Only one coffee machine. Toast and Crumpets, Crossiants, danish pastry's, muffins. Hotel nice and clean there is no lift. but stairs were quite good. so i would stay here again.

We booked the twin room (2 adults and 2 under 2 years) the room was clean large and with two king beds. The room had air con (but no fridge) cooked breakfast is by order (full English with veg sausage options) uncooked cereals, drinks, fruits is buffet style. The hotel has all the basics on point and the staff are great.

Likes; Interesting old building, near the station. Good breakfast included. Decent rooms and apartments. Friendly staff. Dislikes; Strange bar hours, closed on a weekend unless football is on, then shuts at 1500 ?????? Have to use the pub next door, but feel they are really missing a trick.

Really easy check in and helpful staff. Really comfortable and clean room, with huge amounts of space. The bed was really comfy and with crisp fresh white linens. The building is really interesting due to it's history and it's conveniently located near the central shopping district of Hull. The breakfast was a real highlight!

Couldn’t get a parking space, although parking was cheaper over the rd by almost double. Room very bare, not homely at all. Beds could do with replacement for sure. Breakfast I was told it would be continental at £7 per person which I paid for the night before. On arriving to breakfast next morning, shocking, drink wise was fine offering orange juice, apple juice as well as tea and coffee but the food, it was the food that was shocking. A couple of cereal bars, porridge pots which you add water to, very few yogurts,a couple variety box’s of cereal, 2 pieces of brown bread, 4 white. Cakes and cookies. When toasting bread, hardly browned bread, 2nd time burnt bread! Would never stay at this hotel again, by far was worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at

The hotel has a beautiful view and is very clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Special thanks to the restaurant staff, who provided excellent service, especially during breakfast. They were attentive and made sure guests had a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Check-in was smooth, we stayed in room 58 which had a double bed, tv, on-suite shower & toilet, plenty of plug sockets and tea & coffee making facilities, heating & aircon, room was clean. We had breakfast included which was really good with a selection of cereals, toast, fruit, yogurt, tea/coffee & a full cooked breakfast. The hotel is really central to everything, we parked the car in St Stephen’s car park which is a 1-2 minute walk & costs £4.50 for 24hrs. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it, thank you for a great stay.
