Room was not very clean, shower drain was blocked, unable to use shower for entire stay. Notified office in morning after first night, nothing was done, another room not offered

Nothing was ideal. The person at the front desk said she didn't have a room for the reservation we made. Then gave us some stupid story about a broken pipe and then a sudden cancellation and proceeded to give us the dirtiest, unkept room I have EVER seen. The person at the desk was rude. We checked in about 4pm and there were a few others in the lobby doing the same. So when I went back down a short time later to get a couple pillows that she said she would bring by in a bit and then she asked for payment upfront which was unusual and unexpected I told her no problem, he'd be down after we got settled in to take care of it. My husband went down there about 6pm and the office was dark and the was locked. We went to dinner. The next day, we went down in the morning around 9-10 and it was still closed and didn't open till after 4:30. My husband went down to the office at that time while I went to the store and was met with hostility and anger from the clerk because she didn't get paid the evening before, although we tried but the office was closed. She yelled at him, calling us thieves and told him we had 20 minutes to leave the property. He told her about the condition of the room and told him to get out and the room was clean. We left and cut our vacation short because of this. The clerk treated us terribly. The room was horrible and our trip was ruined. I left 2 voicemails that same day and have yet to receive a call from anyone.

The service and the cleanliness, the manager was also super sweet

The room was disgusting! Floors have not been cleaned...EVER! I found old toothpicks/floss laying on the floor. There were hairs all over the pillow on the bed. The bathroom does not have a mirror. The toilet seat is installed crooked and sh#t stains on the underside of the toilet seat. The towels are small and thin...bring your own! The TV is small and the sound you get from it reminds of a small AM transistor radio. I will NEVER stay here again! You would be smart to not stay here as well!
