The Pera Bosphorus Hotel

Staff was very accommodating. Hotel is in a perfect location, near Galata Port. View from rooftop is incredible.

My favorite Hotel is Pera Bosphorus Hotel. Centrally located in Karaköy next to the Galataport. You can also view the Bosphorus , Maiden Tower, Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from The loi Bosphorus Lounge on the 6th Flooor of the Hotel

I would not recommend this hotel despite its good location. Cons: Upon arrival, neither WiFi nor phone lines were working. Breakfast on the rooftop is chaotic — it’s crowded with non-guests who come for the view, so expect long waits and no relaxing start to your day. When I asked for an iron, they didn’t have one. After 24 hours of follow-ups, they said they had lent their irons to other hotels nearby, clearly to push their paid ironing service. The rooftop restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, only shisha — so you’ll be stuck eating while surrounded by heavy smoke. At 3 AM, when checking out, the doorman insisted on calling their airport taxi, which cost me 400 TL extra because the meter was already running. Staff seemed overworked and poorly trained. No sense of hospitality — never heard a single “welcome” or “enjoy your stay.” Pros: The A/C worked well. Free bottled water. Prime location. In short: This place feels more like a busy rooftop restaurant with some rooms underneath, rather than a professional hotel.

Pera Bosphorus Hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to major attractions. The rooms are well kept and the housekeeping team does a great job. The rooftop restaurant which is cal Loi is unbeatable with great food and outstanding service. The bird feeding on the terrace is a charming touch and makes the experience memorable. The only minor downside was that the drainage in my room was not working perfectly, though I did not request any repair or room change during my stay. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay in Istanbul and I would happily recommend it.

Sound isolation was bad. Very loud area and stayed on 5th floor right under the terrace restaurant and they were working at night making a lot of noise. Couldn’t sleep well

Everything was excellent, cleanliness annd anmeniti and food. Every staff member was courteous and polite and friendly and helpful. Our stay at the hotel could not have been better. The sea view from our room and the roof terrace dining was outstanding and so beautiful. We felt so relaxed in the hotels calm and quiet atmosphere. Thankyou

If you don’t have an ocean view room, you will either have a view if a building or a view of a building that looks as if it was bombed. Hotel cleanliness is 5 out of 10 That’s my main complaint Customer service was good and they were helpful to address any matters.

We love our first night in Turkey at Pera Bosphorus Hotel. We loved the restaurant choices however limited to similar options among all. We loved the atmosphere. Breakfast was AMAZING… Hotel and room were very clean. A big issue with shower not draining and mold noticed along edges of shower. Toilet seat in public bathroom on floor -1 was very loose. Since our stay was brief we didn’t make time to bring these issues to management. I am sure they would have been more than happy to take care of these concerns.

Otelde konaklamaya başladıktan kısa süre sonra odada yoğun bir kanalizasyon (lağım) kokusu olduğunu fark ettik. Resepsiyona bildirdik ve oda değiştirildi; ancak sorunun sadece bir odaya değil, birden fazla odaya ait olduğu anlaşıldı. Check-in’den yaklaşık 1 saat içinde durumu bildirmemize rağmen, kalıcı bir çözüm sunulamadı. Otel müdürünün sabah geleceği söylendi ancak ertesi gün defalarca sormamıza rağmen müdüre ulaşılamadı. Hijyen ve sağlık açısından kabul edilemeyecek bu durum nedeniyle konaklamayı erken sonlandırmak zorunda kaldık. Süreç boyunca yaşanan iletişim eksikliği ve çözüm üretilememesi hayal kırıklığı yarattı. Benzer bir durum yaşamamak adına özellikle hijyen hassasiyeti olanlara dikkatli olmalarını öneririm.

Tek sorunum oda yalıtımları üst düzey olmadığı için yan iki odamın gece geç saatlerde kadar kapıları açık şekilde müzik eşliğinde muhabbet etmeleriydi. Genel olarak otel konumsal bakımdan kesinlikle kalabileceğiniz bir oteldir. Yanında kinluks otellere istinaden tam fiyat performanstir.

Lindo hotel bien ubicado cerca del GALATAPORT pero muy ruidoso por la noche imposible dormir, imposible descansar. Sin insonorización.

Odaların ses yalıtımı yok. Yan odayla aranızda bir duvar var gibi ama sadece görüntüyü kesiyor. Ses yalıtımı sıfır aynı şekilde su sesi de çok geliyor. Saat 2 ye kadar dışardaki müzikli eğlence mekanlarının sesi kafanızda çınlıyor

Connection internet tres mauvaise, très très lent.

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht von dem Hotel. Zunächst waren die Sanitäranlagen nicht hygienisch bzw. nicht ordnungsgemäß gereinigt. Des Weiteren waren die Nächte zum Schlafen nicht möglich. Die Geräuschkulisse war so hoch sodass wir unangenehme Geräusche aus dem Nebenzimmer mitbekommen haben. Dabei handelte es sich um eine Dame die eingeladen wurde. Die Wände waren so dünn, sodass wir Verhandlungen mitbekommen haben. Die Zimmer an sich sind so klein, indem man kaum stehen kann. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir uns schnell einen neuen Hotel aufgesucht und wollten nur noch weg. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

Ik verbleef op de vijfde etage. Onder de lounge van het hotel. Je hoort tot diep in de nacht de stoelen schuiven. Wifi is slecht. Zit wel op een top locatie. De hygiene is ook wel goed wordt elke dag netjes schoongemaakt.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The service felt like old-world respect and service. Reasonably priced.

The reception team provided all kinds of support during our stay. Location was great. The otel was very clean.

Das Pera Bosphorus Hotel liegt sehr zentral, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Galataport und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von Karaköy mit seinen zahlreichen Bars, Restaurants und Cafés entfernt – ideal für alle, die Istanbul zu Fuß erkunden möchten. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet. Durch die Nähe zum Galataport kann es vorkommen, dass große Kreuzfahrtschiffe die Aussicht auf das Meer zeitweise vollständig versperren. Zudem sollte man beachten, dass es insbesondere nachts durch den Hafenbetrieb und die nahegelegenen Bars recht laut sein kann. Die Schallisolierung der Zimmer ist nicht optimal, sodass Geräusche bis spät in die Nacht hinein wahrnehmbar sind. Im obersten Stockwerk des Hotels befindet sich das Loi Restaurant, das mit einem beeindruckenden Blick auf den Bosporus überzeugt. Insgesamt ist das Pera Bosphorus Hotel eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für Reisende, die eine zentrale Lage und die Möglichkeit zur Erkundung Istanbuls zu Fuß schätzen – wer jedoch Ruhe sucht, sollte die potenziellen Lärmquellen berücksichtigen.

A great location!!!! Booked this hotel last minute for a short trip to Istanbul and was blown away at how conveniently located it was. Just minutes from Galata Tower, but also fairly close to Sultanahmet district (we walked there basically on accident took about 20 minutes). You’re also about a 2 minute walk to the Galata Port which is an amazing shopping area right on the Bosporus, absolutely gorgeous and many great shopping and dining options. Had no idea that existed and was so pleasantly surprised. You’re also conveniently located to the ferry port and tram station if you need to get around quickly. The hotel itself is nice. Everything is brand new and feels clean. Staff is very nice and helpful! One of the biggest downsides was the thin walls. You can truly hear any and everything happening around you. Neighbors to our left taking a shower, neighbors to the right talking on the phone, party boats cruising the Bosporus, music etc… another downside was no included breakfast as many hotels in Istanbul offer this. But there is no shortage of amazing food options VERY close by! If you’re looking for a decent place to lay your head for a fair price while spending most of your time out and about exploring this is the place!!

The hotel looks very nice and comfy. It feels very vacacional. Breakfast is delicious, highly recommend the tea. Waiters are nice as well. Ahmet helped us grab three cups of drinks, appreciate it.

Hotel is good! Location perfect! Staff is ok! Breakfast only turkish set! Its ok but for those who like it!!! It is no byffet!!! Wifi very poor!!! You can say no WiFi!!!
