Although this property is secluded it was a decent stay. It’s a newer property and hope that it can stay in good shape in the years to come. More outdoor seating would be nice. Too bad they did not add a pool. The keurig at front desk is handy and appreciate. The staff were nice.

Our room was very clean. There was an issue with the plumbing being repaired which rendered us without hot water for a bit but other than that it was a nice stay. The outside courtyard was great. Access to fresh coffee 24/7 was awesome too.

Stay APT was a great hotel if you have a big family and stay for more than a week. No pool, no breakfast, but it had an awesome kitchen and super large bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was extremely clean and modern, and all our needs were met. The staff was super helpful and I truly enjoyed having the kitchen available in our room. I was a little disappointed there was no pool or breakfast, but I knew this going into the booking. Overall, AN AMAZING hotel and I'll definitely be back!

The floor was dirty as well as the appliances were never wiped down after the last renter. The kitchen counter was dirty as well with food still on it. The TV in the bedroom didn't work and when I tried to reach out to someone for help there wasn't anyone to help.

This is a no frill hotel suite. The facility advertizes no smoking and makes you sign a no smoking statement at check-in. I smelled smoke when waiting at the elevator to first go to my room. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke which was initially hidden by an open window. My son witnessed guests smoking from a hooka in the courtyard. The carpet felt like it had a greasy film on it. I found a cigarette butt under the bathroom sink and my son found a broken comb in the closet - items that should have been found by a standard cleaning between guests. The open concrete "hallways" were dirty. The room layout was good and the bathroom was well-designed.

The room smelled like dirty mop water and there was a dirty towel from the previous people still hanging in the bathroom. Did not offer housekeeping. THE TV DIDN'T WORK! and when we attempted to discuss this issue, we were given the run around answers, and it was never fixed during our stay.

My grandmother was displeased with the cleanliness of the sheets / linens. I believe they had been laundered, but had small spotting/stains from previous guests. She would not sleep on these sheets, and management moved us to another room with very crisp fresh sheets.

Initially, check-in was nice and smooth. Staff was courteous, but along the way to our room, I’m immediately noticed the interior of the property could use some housekeeping. For a new property, it had a stale, unpleasant odor, and it only got worse in the elevator. The set up of the room was nice but definitely needed a good, thorough cleaning. Hair in the tub, dirty handprint stains on the bathroom door and light switch, stained sheets that we reported but were never addressed or replaced, extremely limited kitchen amenities, and no staff on site to address any of these concerns.

All in all the property was ok, and for the most part, clean, and the people helpful. However we were shocked every time we came into our room that is smelled like smoke and was stuffy even with the air on, and this is a smoke-free property. Also, when we first got to our room, there were stickers on the windows and the walls, holes in the bedroom wall from pictures that had been hung, pushpins around the the rooms. This stay checked the two most important boxes for a hotel stay--comfotable accomodations and pleasant staff. We checked in about 1/2 an hour early and the front desk staff and housekeeping worked to make it possible and were extremely personable and pleasant. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've experienced and obviously freshly cleaned. The bathroom fixtures were spotless, but the fan was overdue for a good vacuum. Although the kitchen was functional, there were no forks or any sort of baking pan (probably stolen by previously guests). I had brought forks, but we couldnt heat up our snacks. Even though our room looked out at the highway, it was not loud or distracting, but there was some sound carrying from within the hotel.we didn't use the courtyard, but it was a cute feature. It was a ways out of town but convenient from the highway. Overall a great place to land for a few days.

This property was great for our visit with local family. The suite was spacious and featured the kitchen and sitting room in the front and the bedroom in the back with the bathroom dividing the two. Things we liked include clean bathroom, bedroom and kitchen area. The beds were comfortable. There was also easy access to the nearby interstate. We do have a few problems to mention. The kitchen is full-sized with a full fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher, but there was a deficiency in the outfitting of the kitchen. There was only a handful of silverware, a few bowls and plates, a few cups, and a single pot and pan to do any cooking. Had we used the kitchen anymore than we did, we would have had to go buy dishwashing supplies in order to do so. Also, the building is built as an inverted motel, which means all hotel access doors faced an outdoor courtyard. A heavy storm blew through while we were there and water seeped into the living area under the door. This probably could have been prevented if there had been a rubber strip installed along the bottom of the door. Thankfully, none of our belongings were in the area. Also, the walkway to the elevator and stairs could get slick with standing water after a storm. Overall, this was a great place for us to spread out and enjoy a few days with our family. I imagine it would also be good for an extended period, as long as you are well equipped to meet the deficiencies in the kitchen.

Nice property in nice condition and nice staff. It looks just like the photos. Bring ear plugs because it’s next to the freeway.The hotel area seems safe enough, but if you go 3 miles south, not so good. We’d probably stay here again.

Property was nice. AC unit did not work in both rooms. We were told we would be credited but we were not able to get new rooms due to over booking. We were then charged for both rooms. Costing not only the rooms. But paying ten times as much for another hotel w short notice. So the place was nice the booking and payment system is insane. I am still fighting for credit on both rooms. All I’m all a complete disaster and it’s still Going on. Expedia was no help either.

Check in was a disaster. Received an email from the property to check in thru the app. Downloaded the app and then tried to check in right at 3pm. Said room was not ready. Tried again for the next 3 hours and kept saying the same thing. We finally went to the property to see when we could check in and the manager said oh we don't do the app check in, your rooms been ready since 3. Could not have cared less we had been waiting 3 hours for our room and they were at cause for delay. Inside room: No mixing bowls, nothing to use to cook in oven, no sponge to wash dishes. Definitely not a full kitchen as described.

Sick as a dog. Went out to the pharmacy to grab meds around 9:30 PM, forgot my room key. Called emergency after hours maintenance. The fellow showed up and complained so much about having to let me in my room THAT I felt the need to explain that I wasnt feeling well and had made an honest mistake by forgetting my room key. Sick as a dog. Went out to the pharmacy to grab meds around 9:30 PM, forgot my room key. Called emergency after hours maintenance. The fellow showed up and complained so much about having to let me in my room THAT I felt the need to explain that I wasnt feeling well and had made an honest mistake by forgetting my room key. Derrick greeted upon arrival (the check-in area has a separate entrance from the rooms) and made quick work of checking me in. He had a great attitude and informed me of work being done on the property and asked me to let him know if anything was amiss. The room I was given was exactly like the picture, this property is truly like staying in an apartment. There were a few small issues (slow drip in tub, hinge area of toilet not cleaned, tub not rinsed out); however upon reading my initial review Derrick himself came to address these things. I would absolutely stay here again.

One of my tvs didn’t work and staff was not able to help. Front desk hours said 7am - 5pm. The front desk area remained locked until around 10am. When housekeeping was told that no one was at the front desk, they said that that occurs every day. I loved the room, but customer service was not that great (except housekeeping). Housekeeping was excellent!

I had received a text a few days prior regarding keyless entry through the app. I downloaded the app and tried to check after the 3:00 check in time and kept getting an error that the room wasn't ready. There was nobody at the front desk. We sat there a while with our kids and nobody showed up so we left and went shopping a few hours and I kept checking the app and always got that same message. Finally close to 6 I went back to the hotel and someone was there and I informed her of the issues with the app and she said "oh yeah that's not working yet". Well maybe communicate that with your guests!! We were wondering for a few hours if we would even get to check in that night, which is not a good feeling with two kids that far from home. The hotel was very clean and our room was very clean, the door knobs all seemed broken but other than that it was a spotless room.

Nice property in nice condition and nice staff. It looks just like the photos. Bring ear plugs because it’s next to the freeway.The hotel area seems safe enough, but if you go 3 miles south, not so good. We’d probably stay here again.

This is a nice place to stay! The staff was very accommodating to request. There is lots of options to eat around the area, and it’s fairly secluded near lots of other hotels. it’s easy to find right off the highway A good central location if you are vacationing in Charleston. Having access to a full kitchen helps save money on eating out. I would recommend if your trip is 3 days

You can hear the highway. It is not a huge deal & I would not let this deter a stay there. The staff are the hardest working staff I have seen in a long while. If you need anything they stop what they are doing to help. Seriously, they are lovely!!!

Our stay began with a friendly and attentive receptionist. She was helpful in sharing local insights. The room was spacious and very well taken care of. This stay checked the two most important boxes for a hotel stay--comfotable accomodations and pleasant staff. We checked in about 1/2 an hour early and the front desk staff and housekeeping worked to make it possible and were extremely personable and pleasant. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've experienced and obviously freshly cleaned. The bathroom fixtures were spotless, but the fan was overdue for a good vacuum. Although the kitchen was functional, there were no forks or any sort of baking pan (probably stolen by previously guests). I had brought forks, but we couldnt heat up our snacks. Even though our room looked out at the highway, it was not loud or distracting, but there was some sound carrying from within the hotel.we didn't use the courtyard, but it was a cute feature. It was a ways out of town but convenient from the highway. Overall a great place to land for a few days.

This property was great for our visit with local family. The suite was spacious and featured the kitchen and sitting room in the front and the bedroom in the back with the bathroom dividing the two. Things we liked include clean bathroom, bedroom and kitchen area. The beds were comfortable. There was also easy access to the nearby interstate. We do have a few problems to mention. The kitchen is full-sized with a full fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher, but there was a deficiency in the outfitting of the kitchen. There was only a handful of silverware, a few bowls and plates, a few cups, and a single pot and pan to do any cooking. Had we used the kitchen anymore than we did, we would have had to go buy dishwashing supplies in order to do so. Also, the building is built as an inverted motel, which means all hotel access doors faced an outdoor courtyard. A heavy storm blew through while we were there and water seeped into the living area under the door. This probably could have been prevented if there had been a rubber strip installed along the bottom of the door. Thankfully, none of our belongings were in the area. Also, the walkway to the elevator and stairs could get slick with standing water after a storm. Overall, this was a great place for us to spread out and enjoy a few days with our family. I imagine it would also be good for an extended period, as long as you are well equipped to meet the deficiencies in the kitchen.

Stay APT was a great hotel if you have a big family and stay for more than a week. No pool, no breakfast, but it had an awesome kitchen and super large bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was extremely clean and modern, and all our needs were met. The staff was super helpful and I truly enjoyed having the kitchen available in our room. I was a little disappointed there was no pool or breakfast, but I knew this going into the booking. Overall, AN AMAZING hotel and I'll definitely be back!

This is a new property so everything was clean and in great condition. My only complaint is that the kitchen had minimal supplies. We didn’t even get a dish towel, just a dishcloth and one pot holder. There were four plates, bowls, cups and glasses. The same with the silverware although there were a couple of cooking utensils. Three pans, two were frying pans and a round baking sheet. I think they should have just a couple of serving bowls at least. The staff we dealt with was very friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Well..nice and convenient. Price was great. Just a few quirks and improvements needed. The refrigerator doors need to be switched to open the other way, seriously. Could use some dish soap, dish towels and dish washing cloth. Better pans, maybe a sauce pot. Other than that it was okay. Nothing extravagant. I would stay here again.

This place was very nice. The Manager was kind and helpful. Upon entering I could smell bleach and that was perfect because it meant than the disinfected the apartment. The Island was beautiful and I had lots of place to prepare meals.

This was a birthday trip, and we truly wanted to make the best out of it, but we genuinely tried to spend as little amount of time possible in this hotel room. First of all, it was filthy. The room was pretty gross. Second, there was NO hot water the entire time. Third, there was no one to get ahold of to inform them of these problems because there is only someone at the front desk for a few hours a day.. we got through it, and I talked with hotels.com about my issues, they tried to help as much as they could. I don’t recommend staying here.
