Everything was great except the internet connection.... It was super slow and no one was able to help me with that. The hotel outsources the tech help for wifi and the customer service on that line was useless.... the staff at the lobby were very nice but there was nothing they could do about it. Otherwise the hotel is very good

Economical room really not big enough for K bed but bed comfortable. Nice and clean but odd appointments, i.e. light & fan switches for shower room were in adjacent vanity room, 'round the corner. Never did find out how to turn on vanity light, had to use flashlight to brush my teeth by. No elevator, most rooms 2nd floor walk-up. 1 parking space per room.

Hotel Aria is great option if you’re in town for business travel, like I was. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the updated bathroom fixtures. There was great water pressure in the shower in my room. Satellite TV provided a lot of channels as well. Bed was comfy. There were some not so great moments like power flickering multiple times. Not sure if that happens often or if I just got unlucky. But overall if you’re looking for an affordable option while traveling to Mountain View, this location was solid. Also, the WiFi signal could’ve been a little bit stronger. Didn’t try breakfast and was only in the room in the evenings during my 3 day trip.

Easy check in & out. Nice and clean hotel. They tell you at check in it is required to have the rooms cleaned daily. Rooms have a mini fridge,. Microwave & coffee maker. Breakfast bare is provided in front lobby: toast, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, fresh fruit, juice & coffee. Stanford patients/families do get a discount if you book through the hotel directly. There is a $10 parking fee for extra cars.

The bathroom of my suite looked clean, but had a rancid smell, a combination of sweat and urine. I arrived late so I didn't want to deal with changing my room. In the morning, I was about 15 minutes late checking out when the hotel manager called me and spoke to me in a very unpleasant manner, saying that I would be charged extra $35 if I stayed 30 minutes past check out time. I explained that my ride was running late and that I needed just 30 minutes extra. She was not accommodating at all. I've stayed at much nicer and fancier hotels and none have been so rude to me as a guest. I will certainly not stay at Hotel Aria again, if the management continues to be so rude and unpleasant.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was super clean and neat. The area is nice and quiet, very nice since I got back from my concert and just wanted to take my makeup off and crash. I would for sure book here again

At first glance the room looked very clean but if you pay attention to detail like myself, you will see that the room isn’t that clean. The bath room and especially the shower need a deep clean.

So first off, this is a motel and not a hotel. Wasn’t clear from the posting but was surprised when I got there, but overall things went well. Check in and communication was good, room was clean and serviced every day. Just the basics in terms of amenities, definitely a 2 star hotel. Shower was pretty nice though. Nice waterfall shower with good pressure. Free parking was also a massive plus and always had plenty of space in the parking lot. It seems like it was maybe a run down motel before, someone bought it and cleaned it up a bit, and that’s that. I got a particularly bad room that’s basically in the parking lot. It also was basically daylight outside my window day and night because of the parking lot lights. Overall, it was clean, good location, and nothing really to say bad about it. I think if they could replace the carpets and clean things up a bit more, it’s a pretty decent affordable option.

Worst night in a “hotel” in a long time. First of all, this is not a hotel, but a motel. Open aisles with the room windows facing them and lights right outside the windows with no way to prevent them from shining into the room but a curtain with massive gaps. Secondly, the road noise from Camino Real (main road it’s on) was absolutely unbearable. The room was 2nd floor facing the road, while some rooms are probably better in the rear of the building (none available I was told). At 30-50m from the road, and the road surface being very rough from the heavy use, constant traffic, it couldn’t have been worse. I hate ear plugs but went ahead and bought at Walgreens and used some last night, but could hear the noise through them anyway. To be fair, the room and bed were fresh and modern and recently done/redone, so that was “nice”, but a hotel is for sleeping so if you don’t get that due to noise and light, everything else is irrelevant including a good price for the general area.

Clean. This is a remodeled motel. They did a fantastic job. There is just parking. The room remodel is amazing. The AC unit was clean and quiet. The bed and shower are great. Iron microwave and fridge provided in a standard room.

On day 2 of my stay, I told the manager that the housekeeper may want to wear a mask when cleaning my room because I am sick. The manager cancelled my reservation and told me that I would have to go to another hotel. I had already spent one night at the hotel and I was kicked out despite having paid fully on Expedia. The hotel itself was nice and I wish that they didn't strand me like that. I had to scramble to find another hotel at the last minute which was really inconvenient.

Room was nice and comfortable inside, good amenities give it a 5. Unhappy we were placed in a room in the car driveway and after dark, massive overhead lights went on in that drive tunnel under the upstairs rooms and glowed around the double drapes!! Give that a 2. The tv is tiny to see across the big room. Give that a 3. The biggest complaint, the windows are *sealed shut* throughout the place, when Mountain View has some of the BEST year round temperatures!!! Yes wall fan/a/c. The lack of fresh air however was a deal breaker. Give that a 0. Building with big operable windows in every room -- that they sealed SHUT. Avg a 3 final score. Won't stay again.

Was in town for the Kesha concert- the room was perfect for our stay. Super easy to get to the Amphitheater, lots of food options around us. The room was neat and updated. Both of us loved the bathroom with the rain head shower. The staff was kind and prompt with checking us in. If you’re in the area for a concert this is a very convenient hotel.

The room was well cleaned but smells musty. The front desk was unwelcoming, unfriendly, even rude ("we will check to see damages in the room tomorrow!!"). This was at check-in! They didn't allow to use a restroom after checkout in spite of cleaning staff in the room ready to clean after. Who does not allow guests to use the restroom in a hotel? Quote "Sorry you checked out, go down the road, you can use the bakery restroom! "

I have never experienced a stay like this one, and I don't mean this in a good way. When my family came to pick us up for dinner later the night of check in they did enter the room to wait as we finished getting ready for a total of about 20 minutes. During that time my family member was then rudely question by the front desk on why they were on the property, yet I had disclosed during check in that my family was going to be stopping by and even gave a license plate number. When we did leave for dinner I received a text from the front desk saying that they saw people exiting my room and that my deposit WAS going to be charged. I immediately called the front desk to let them know that no one was staying and explained I was simply being picked up for dinner. I was then told that when I come back that I was going to have to be quite because it was going to be late and If they did see anymore people or cars that again my deposit will be charged. I left to dinner upset at the conversation and at that point uncomfortable and unable to relax staying there. Upon returning back not just one key card wasn't working BUT both key cards. Having to go back to front desk to get replaced cards the first thing said by them was "It's only two people staying right? two people?" I felt they did that they deactivated our keys on purpose to make a statement. 1 key card being demagnetized I would understand but 2 after the text and conversations? Alra was front desk and was extremely rude and judgy

I left to dinner upset at the conversation and at that point uncomfortable and unable to relax staying there. Upon returning back not just one key card wasn't working BUT both key cards. Having to go back to front desk to get replaced cards the first thing said by them was "It's only two people staying right? two people?" I felt they did that they deactivated our keys on purpose to make a statement. 1 key card being demagnetized I would understand but 2 after the text and conversations? We cannot recommend this hotel. It is clean but we struggled with their service and comfort sleeping. This morning the housekeeper came into the room at 8:45 am even though the “do not disturb” sign was there. She knocked and entered immediately despite my partner saying that someone was in there. This was totally inappropriate. We had the room until 11am for check out. She absolutely should not have come in. The first day we arrived the maintenance person let himself into the room without being allowed in just 20 minutes after my partner had gotten there. My partner was in there alone. This was totally inappropriate and potentially dangerous for her. My daughter was staying in a separate room and she was hassled for not having housekeeping one day. On Saturday night at 3AM, some idiot knocked loudly on our door and other doors, looking for someone. It woke us up. Finally, it wasn’t possible to make the room dark due to the extremely bright light just outside the window of room. Overall we had a really lousy experience there and cannot recommend it to anyone. In the future people should have the option to turn down housekeeping. It felt like it was forced on us. It seems illegal that they make daily housekeeping mandatory.

I had complications from the moment I booked this room. I received multiple messages from the hotel after booking, for days in a row, demanding my estimated time of arrival. I provided my ETA, yet continued to receive two more phone calls regarding the office closing at 9:00pm. This felt nearly like harassment. The hotel website and third party booking states that you can request late check out. Upon arrival, the front desk lady stated that was absolutely not available due to full bookings.. however my car was one of two in the entire parking lot. I booked this room to get some sleep after my night shift at the ER and at 8:00am the hotel employees were shouting from afar to each other right outside my room door, which did have the Do Not Disturb sign on. When I exited my room, I said to the elderly female employee, “You guys are really loud outside of a room with a Do Not Disturb sign.” The lady completely ignored me, did not acknowledge what I said at all. Yet one minute later when the maintenance man was walking towards her, literally crossing paths with me, she continued shouting to him. As far as the room itself, well the “King” bed is two double beds pushed together. Also, false advertisement as there is no breakfast. Do not stay here! I am extremely regretful with choosing to keep my reservation and stay there after contemplating to cancel following the initial overload of messaging and phone calls about my arrival time that felt like harassment.

The front desk woman was extremely rude. She made it clear that she didn’t want us there and we weren’t welcome. When we got to our hotel room, the tv didn’t work. Also, there were no hand towels by the sink. Overall a horrible experience. I do not recommend!

The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was super clean and neat. The area is nice and quiet, very nice since I got back from my concert and just wanted to take my makeup off and crash. I would for sure book here again

We’ll certainly stay at this hotel again next time we’re in the area. Very good location: safe area to walk around, just a 10 minute walk to the pedestrian street with restaurants coffee bars. Very relaxed feel about the property. I think it’s a small family run hotel and the staff keep an eye on everything which keeps a high standard of security cleanliness etc The bus to Paolo Alto stops close to the hotel with good shopping 45 minute drive to San Francisco, the bridge, Pier 39

Was in town for the Kesha concert- the room was perfect for our stay. Super easy to get to the Amphitheater, lots of food options around us. The room was neat and updated. Both of us loved the bathroom with the rain head shower. The staff was kind and prompt with checking us in. If you’re in the area for a concert this is a very convenient hotel.

Excellent place to stay. Everything inside and out looks new and beautiful. Staff was very cheerful and helpful. Nice location. Short drive to the Shoreline Amphitheatre and several shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

I like this place, have stayed there a few times now. Nice staff, very clean rooms. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but it's better than nothing. I try to stay there every time work brings me to the area, its certainly a better place than several others I've tried on the same street.

This is more of a motel than a hotel. I was very disappointed in the breakfast offered. It’s mostly just cereal, yogurt, and bread. They also pretty much hounded me for an expected check-in time, which I thought was very strange at the time, but now that I see and know that it is a motel situation with a teller window, I guess it is somewhat consistent for the place. The room was clean and even nicely furnished.

Older looking property from the outside but all the rooms have clearly been renovated. Parking can be a bit tough if it is crowded. Location is good. Staff was friendly but not very interactive. Breakfast was subpar with just some cereal and toast but it was OK. Rooms were clean. Overall, good value in the area and if you want to support local, this will give you the same basic amenities and rooms as the chain places down the street

This hotel appears to have undergone a major renovation and the rooms are attractive, and clean. Management are new(?) and seem overwhelmed, at times rude. They have very aggressive automated messaging, and are obsessed with times of arrival, departure and room service. Breakfast average at best, coffee machine was broken for 2 mornings. Overall, not a relaxing place to stay.

It is a motel not a hotel. So if you're imaging yourself checking in to a hotel, that's a mistake. Don't expect there will be receptionist there 24/7. A few things to consider: 1. Daily housekeeping is mandatory - meaning if you just want to rest in the room for a whole day, you can't. I was forced to be out for a few hours in the bay area, where I felt homeless. They advertised special packages for folks who are visiting that area because of medical reasons (e.g. Stanford Medical, nearby eye surgery center) - so if you are here for medical reasons need a room to stay, don't come. 2. When I returned to my room from mandatory cleaning - they actually left ALL the cleaning supplies on my desk. NICE! I saw detergent, dirty clothes... 3. You are required to have a smart phone download an app at the receptionist in order to unlock your room every time. They don't give you any room key. So if your room is maxing out data or memory, good luck. 4. Breakfast is included but no hot breakfast - only bread, muffin, cereals, juice and coffee. I was counting down to check out and I finally did. I would never ever go back to this place again.
