Bella struttura ma lontano da tutto (un pò difficile da raggiungere si consiglia SUV per affrontare uno sterrato di un pò di kilometri). La stuttura è anche un pochino datata (non tutto funziona), ma belle le due piscine (che si possono utilizzare anche la sera) e il ristorante funziona davvero bene (ottimi cibi messicani). Paesaggio incantevole. Colori del mare caraibici e snorkeling che merita.

Property is in very good condition. Great new lounge chairs, umbrellas and hamacks on the beach this year. Lots of little improvements, and still great food and excellant service. We like the peaceful setting...very relaxing!

Es un resort que nos ha sorprendido bastante. El estado de las instalaciones es excelente, nuestra habitación de gran tamaño, muy cómoda y perfectamente limpia. Cuenta con muchas amenidades como cafetera, secadora, plancha, refrigerador. Tiene también una terraza muy bonita donde pudimos disfrutar del amanecer con una buena taza de café. Además de esas comodidades, la ubicación es privilegiada: frente al mar y con una playa absolutamente nadable. Cuentan con kayak, SUP, equipo de snorkel, bicicletas de cortesía. Aquí el aburrimiento no tiene lugar, a pesar de ser una ubicación remota hay muchas cosas que hacer. En cuanto a su cocina… wow! Quedamos sorprendidos por la calidad de los platillos de su restaurante, muy sabrosos e innovadores. El personal desde los meseros hasta el chef fueron muy atentos y amables. La piscina tiene agua salada por lo que no se padecen las incomodidades del cloro y demás químicos. Definitivamente recomendamos este resort para una estancia relajante y/o llena de actividades y diversión.

This is an amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere on the Sea of Cortez about 30 minutes north of Los Barriles. You will be off road for about 6 Km on rough road. Once here you will be spoiled with sun drenched beaches with no one to bother you. The grounds are very well kept as are the rooms overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. They attend to you without being overbearing. If you need something all you have to do is ask and they respond with professionalism and courtesy. They treat you like family. You are just a short set of steps to the beach which is secluded with no vendors to bother you. They have kayaks, SUP boards, ATV's, 4 wheelers for off road, snorkeling equipment, etc. for your use. The restaurant is fabulous with excellent food. All of the portions are very large and fit for 2 if not very hungry. I have been working my way through the menu and everything I have tried is excellent. As I said the portions are very large. This is my 2nd stay here in the past month. I was so impressed with my 1st stay that I just returned mid April. Once again I will come back out in May or June. This is my go to escape from Cabo San Lucas where I live full time. There are no stores anywhere close by, nearest is Los Barriles, so if you need something get it there before coming out. You should have a high clearance vehicle right now as the road is rough. The staff have been amazing. Remember this is very secluded.

We loved our stay! All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing to be aware of is this property is about 30mins from main road (you get there on a rocky road) we had an SUV and didn’t have an issue. If you are looking for something private and intimate I highly recommend. The hotel has a cute private beach with cabanas that are nice and clean. We loved the paddle boards and snorkeling gear hotel provided (I highly recommend going snorkeling so much fish right around). Food was tasty (tho if you are staying more than 4 days you might be running out of options) and drinks were great! We would definitely return!

The property is on a very beautiful stretch of beach and very nice staff. The food was also really good. It's a tough place to get to, one easy road but GPS took us the very challenging dirt road (not the hotel's fault). Unfortunately the hotel had multiple construction projects going on. They were jackhammering to dig for the new sewer line which is pretty annoying to listen to all day when you're on vacation. The pool wasn't working and doesn't look like it will be for quite some time. They are building a structure down at the beach and at the entrance to the property. Workers even started at 7:50AM on Sunday! If they would have told me about the construction and pool, i would have stayed some where else and enjoyed myself more. Cut the trip short and went to La Paz. I wouldn't go back, but if you are planning on going to this place I would definitely ask them if the pool is working and if they are in the process of construction....

The the staff was very helpful and kind, we really enjoyed staying there the access to the beaches close to the room. The pool was very clean both of them. We had a Jacuzzi in our room and the view was spectacular.

This place is fantastic. We went there for a baby moon. Highly recommended! The service was great! The chef is really great and made special wishes a reality. I’m definitely coming back. The access to the beach can’t be beat. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lots of pillows. They included kayaks, snorkel equipment, and their cabanas were not at extra charge. The service team was phenomenal! So kind, respectful, helpful and nice.

The good: The staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. The property is beautiful. The restaurant is excellent. The spa service is first class. The not so good: The road into the resort is not maintained and is a rocky, coastal beach trail. If you know this ahead of time and plan accordingly (rent an SUV) or pay for a shuttle it’s not as big of an issue. If you rent a low clearance econo model, you are in for a different experience. The water pressure could be better, but honestly who cares about that in paradise. Highly recommend

Not Recommended Unless You’re Prepared While the property location is visually superb , I would not recommend this hotel unless you have a four-wheel drive vehicle and are comfortable with significant shortcomings. The road access is challenging, making arrival tricky without the right car. Unfortunately, the amenities leave much to be desired: the shower only offered a tiny trickle of hot water—cold wasn’t even an option—and service was clearly understaffed (we waited nearly 50 minutes for a simple omelette at breakfast). Even more concerning, I found three cockroaches running in my room, which is simply unacceptable and points to major cleanliness and maintenance issues. The place feels neglected, either due to poor management or a lack of staff to perform basic upkeep. Disappointing experience compared to expectations

We wanted to stay in or near La Paz and Expedia suggested this stay for us with great price arrived 2 days late on a 4 night stay due to rain along the very, very long trip far from civilization. driver kept commenting that it was not near La Paz. Additionally there was a heavy rain along the ridges of a mountain we were crossing and a big rock fell on the taxi’s car. Ended up stayin @ Hotel El Cathedral near the Malecón of La Paz.Highly recommend it. Stayed another night Now back to Hotel Pescadero Cleaning not provided daily. Glass around pool is dirty. Very few staff, they are either in or around the reception desk or at the bar. Sink in my room was almost completely loose Very cheap shower head. 2 water bottle provided in the fridge and are not replaced during your stay No ice machine You’re phones will have very weak signal WiFi is not provided to you so you will have to hang around the bar to get signal Unless you drove yourself there, you will have no connection to any nearby store you will forced to buy everything at the bar. There is nothing nearby just desert. And empty beaches which are full of rocks and seashells. You can rent an atv or use kayak it is not free. Uber does not work out there either. There is no ride service available when you try searching. If you want to go to the next town over you have to pay 200 round trip There was a 2 sec blackout. You had to ask for more toilet paper. There is no ATM machine. If you drive there be careful

Beautiful and scenic property. Grounds are immaculate. Employees and service are exceptional. Views of the beautiful beach from even basic rooms are stunning. We had a basic room and it was large with a very functional bathroom. AC was very cold but could easily be adjusted. Food was hit and miss with the one on-site restaurant. There's no gift shop for snacks, etc and that would be a gre

Ubicación uníca y privilegiada con esa playa y paisaje. El servicio de todo el personal fue super amable, su comida muy rica y en general todo de precios razonables. La habitación muy cómoda, espaciosa y limpia.

The location is gorgeous and secluded, had an amazing time kayaking at the beach. We stayed in the bridal suite with the jacuzzi, disappointed that the jets didn’t work though. The property is clean and well kept, the restaurants were just ok, nothing outstanding. Overall it was a great stay.

El lugar es paradisíaco sin duda, el hotel está en buenas condiciones en general pero el personal es limitado; y aunque ponen mucho esmero, no les alcanza. es un hotel al que acudimos frecuentemente pero esta vez nos dieron una habitación que no cumplía con lo requisitado, no fue posible conectar a internet en la habitación a pesar de que el hotel lo ofertaba, olvidaron hacer la limpieza un día. Cabe mencionar que nos cambiaron de habitación, con los trastornos que esto implica; pero el internet siguió ausente.

The location is gorgeous and secluded, had an amazing time kayaking at the beach. We stayed in the bridal suite with the jacuzzi, disappointed that the jets didn’t work though. The property is clean and well kept, the restaurants were just ok, nothing outstanding. Overall it was a great stay.

The the staff was very helpful and kind, we really enjoyed staying there the access to the beaches close to the room. The pool was very clean both of them. We had a Jacuzzi in our room and the view was spectacular.

We stayed 2 nights and loved this place! The rooms are great, each with a huge balcony and ocean view. It is quiet, very private, great for couples. Service was absolutely amazing! Food was great (above all breakfast) and restaurant prices were very good considering the hotel is middle of nowhere. It tends to get very windy in certain months so plan accordingly. And it is hard to get to! But you can make it in a regular car (we did). There are only dirt roads and they are rough. Go through El Cardonal (even if coming from Bariles or Cabo), that road is somewhat better. Apple maps suggests that route whereas Google wants to take you directly. Or rent 4x4 ;)

Our room was beautiful with views of the ocean. Unfortunately construction was going on all day with backhoe and screeching and beeping. We had a hard time enjoying our patio and view of the ocean. It stopped at 5:00pm. The hotel manager graciously waived our dinner charge but the dinner was terrible and breakfast was terrible. Our room was dated and internet very bad. We are world travellers and wonder why they are behind the times so much?

The view is amazing. The rooms are outdated. Internet not working properly. Could not connect in the room. TV is only in Spanish. Food is expensive. Staff does their best but the resort needs a renovation. There’s nothing around the resort. If you’ve been there before and you know what to expect, then you won’t be disappointed.

Zida is an amazing person. She not only checked us in with ease and speed, she personally took us to our room, made sure everything was perfect, she did anything we asked. This place is in a remote but beautiful location, we loved it so much we added a night to our stay. They included an amazing delivered to your table continental breakfast, free bottle of wine, 15 minute massage, and 2 welcome drinks from the bar. We upgraded the massage to an hour for very little extra. The massage was awesome. Rosy has magic in those hands. We loved seeing the whales, Mobula rays, dolphins, and more. We didn’t snorkel yet but have been told it’s excellent. The value of this place is maybe the best I’ve ever experienced. The sunrises are beautiful if you can wake up early enough to see them. All in all we loved the place.

This property is simply beautiful. It is remote, so if party life, crowds and noise is what you’re looking for, this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking to relax in a quiet, beautiful setting and enjoy the ocean, great attentive staff, wonderful food, and a beautiful area on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, you won’t be disappointed. Personable, fun staff go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure you’re comfortable. You’ll feel like family during your stay and will be sad to say goodbye! 5 stars! A big thank you to Ernesto, Miquel, Rosie, Bella, Zayra, and Juan for all your hard work to insure our vacation was wonderful and one we’ll always remember!

We loved our stay! All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing to be aware of is this property is about 30mins from main road (you get there on a rocky road) we had an SUV and didn’t have an issue. If you are looking for something private and intimate I highly recommend. The hotel has a cute private beach with cabanas that are nice and clean. We loved the paddle boards and snorkeling gear hotel provided (I highly recommend going snorkeling so much fish right around). Food was tasty (tho if you are staying more than 4 days you might be running out of options) and drinks were great! We would definitely return!

This place is fantastic. We went there for a baby moon. Highly recommended! The service was great! The chef is really great and made special wishes a reality. I’m definitely coming back. The access to the beach can’t be beat. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lots of pillows. They included kayaks, snorkel equipment, and their cabanas were not at extra charge. The service team was phenomenal! So kind, respectful, helpful and nice.

El personal tiene múltiples tareas y con todo y ello mantienen una muy amable disposición y hacen un esfuerzo por satisfacer las necesidades de los invitados. La comida se sirve en porciones generosas, las amenidades no son muchas pero son funcionales y bien montadas, la alberca, el bar, el restaurante y el SPA, en lo que nos tocó ver a nosotros. Las habitaciones están actualizadas, con buenos enseres y servicios, y las camas son cómodas. Para un viaje con el propósito de desconectarse del mundo y reconectarse en pareja o familia es ideal.

The property was so peaceful and breathtaking. The staff were very kind and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of the accessibility, the main road is very long with rough terrain. Not Recommended Unless You’re Prepared While the property location is visually superb , I would not recommend this hotel unless you have a four-wheel drive vehicle and are comfortable with significant shortcomings. The road access is challenging, making arrival tricky without the right car. Unfortunately, the amenities leave much to be desired: the shower only offered a tiny trickle of hot water—cold wasn’t even an option—and service was clearly understaffed (we waited nearly 50 minutes for a simple omelette at breakfast). Even more concerning, I found three cockroaches running in my room, which is simply unacceptable and points to major cleanliness and maintenance issues. The place feels neglected, either due to poor management or a lack of staff to perform basic upkeep. Disappointing experience compared to expectations

Beautiful resort well away from town. Incredibly peaceful and serene. Incredible staff and hospitality. You will need an offroad capable vehicle to get to and from the resort. Which for us we love, it keeps the resort quite private as it is hard to get to for many people not comfortable with offroad travel.

This is a lovely resort once you get there....access is a little challenging over rough dirt roads. We were very impressed with all of the staff who went out of their way to accommodate. The dinner service at night is slow so plan to enjoy a cocktail while you wait. Food was acceptable but not outstanding. Offers snorkeling, paddleboarding, swimming, ATV rentals, a nice beach area, and ocean views from your private room patio. Beds are comfy and bath is nicely appointed. This is an amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere on the Sea of Cortez about 30 minutes north of Los Barriles. You will be off road for about 6 Km on rough road. Once here you will be spoiled with sun drenched beaches with no one to bother you. The grounds are very well kept as are the rooms overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. They attend to you without being overbearing. If you need something all you have to do is ask and they respond with professionalism and courtesy. They treat you like family. You are just a short set of steps to the beach which is secluded with no vendors to bother you. They have kayaks, SUP boards, ATV's, 4 wheelers for off road, snorkeling equipment, etc. for your use. The restaurant is fabulous with excellent food. All of the portions are very large and fit for 2 if not very hungry. I have been working my way through the menu and everything I have tried is excellent. As I said the portions are very large. This is my 2nd stay here in the past month. I was so impressed with my 1st stay that I just returned mid April. Once again I will come back out in May or June. This is my go to escape from Cabo San Lucas where I live full time. There are no stores anywhere close by, nearest is Los Barriles, so if you need something get it there before coming out. You should have a high clearance vehicle right now as the road is rough. The staff have been amazing. Remember this is very secluded.

Shout out to Kaila, Beatrice, Juan, Yovan, Rosie and Jesus the manager The beach below was beautiful. The snorkeling was great. September is not the best month to visit. We experienced Hurricane Lorena with only minor problems.

The not so good: The road into the resort is not maintained and is a rocky, coastal beach trail. If you know this ahead of time and plan accordingly (rent an SUV) or pay for a shuttle it’s not as big of an issue. If you rent a low clearance econo model, you are in for a different experience. The water pressure could be better, but honestly who cares about that in paradise. Highly recommend

This property is simply beautiful. It is remote, so if party life, crowds and noise is what you’re looking for, this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking to relax in a quiet, beautiful setting and enjoy the ocean, great attentive staff, wonderful food, and a beautiful area on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, you won’t be disappointed. Personable, fun staff go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure you’re comfortable. You’ll feel like family during your stay and will be sad to say goodbye! 5 stars! A big thank you to Ernesto, Miquel, Rosie, Bella, Zayra, and Juan for all your hard work to insure our vacation was wonderful and one we’ll always remember!

This is a lovely resort once you get there....access is a little challenging over rough dirt roads. We were very impressed with all of the staff who went out of their way to accommodate. The dinner service at night is slow so plan to enjoy a cocktail while you wait. Food was acceptable but not outstanding. This is a great place for a couples getaway or to book several rooms for a friends or family reunion. Offers snorkeling, paddleboarding, swimming, ATV rentals, a nice beach area, and ocean views from your private room patio. Beds are comfy and bath is nicely appointed. Internet is a little spotty during times of heavy usage. We enjoyed our time there.

We loved our stay! All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing to be aware of is this property is about 30mins from main road (you get there on a rocky road) we had an SUV and didn’t have an issue. If you are looking for something private and intimate I highly recommend. The hotel has a cute private beach with cabanas that are nice and clean. We loved the paddle boards and snorkeling gear hotel provided (I highly recommend going snorkeling so much fish right around). Food was tasty (tho if you are staying more than 4 days you might be running out of options) and drinks were great! We would definitely return!

The good: The staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. The property is beautiful. The restaurant is excellent. The spa service is first class. The not so good: The road into the resort is not maintained and is a rocky, coastal beach trail. If you know this ahead of time and plan accordingly (rent an SUV) or pay for a shuttle it’s not as big of an issue. If you rent a low clearance econo model, you are in for a different experience. The water pressure could be better, but honestly who cares about that in paradise. Highly recommend

We didn’t do our research… Everyone else had grocery shopped, brought their own drinks, and generally didn’t rely on the restaurant/bar there. Also the drinks were all watered down. Recommend a car and some solid prep in advance- this spot is beautiful but not near any resources

Beautiful, serene and secluded location. The service in terms of food and food quality was not great. The staff was kind and approachable but seemed to lack training and leadership to deliver a positive experience for guests.

Nice private beachfront hotel. Great super friendly staff. Good food, although do not be in a rush. Wonderful beach with lots of water sports options. Great views of whales breaching right in front of our room. Bit of a journey to get here but worth the drive.

Beautiful view and gorgeous beach. Please note that they were very understaffed and at times hard to find anyone to assist. Our room had the worst methane gas in the bathroom. We had to keep the sink and shower covered and last day had to use friends shower as it was smelling so badly. We ended up nauseous and with headaches. We informed manager and he was aware and said plumber could not come until the next week. Did not offer to even move us. He did give us a credit to come back. LOL. We live in Hawaii and just do not go to Mexico on a whim and it expired so could not use. We almost slept outside one night the smell was so bad . Cleaners could barely clean in bathroom due to the methane and then just used perfume to try and mask the smell which made it even worse !

Llevamos muchos años yendo a este gran lugar, el cual ha mejorado bastante, en cuanto a la comodidad de las habitaciones, también ha mejorado en su cocina. Lo único es que han subido los precios, muy excesivos para la calidad y sobretodo el servicio. Otra cosa que quitaron que era muy atractivo, eran las promociones de que pagabas la noche y te incluyan en el desayuno, aunque fuera continental. El lugar es increíble y la renovación de las Albercas le da otro toque mucho más bonito. Otro detalle que tienen que arreglar es las regaderas, no puede ser posible que se bañe uno con un pequeño chorro de agua. Seguiremos regresando porque nos encanta el lugar, pero ojalá pudieran solucionar esto.
