I will start with the pros. Very clean and staff was pretty friendly. Sitting as close to Rt 90 as it is, it was extremely quiet. Cons…. Not a one of the 6 usb ports worked in the room. Was not able to charge our phones. Upon entering room we looked everywhere for a remote and couldn’t find one. Went to call down to the desk and that phone didn’t work in the room. Elevator seems to be on its last leg and one trip away from a disaster. The price that we paid for this hotel was definitely not worth it . We do not plan on returning to this hotel ever .

The parking lot is a sheet of ice all over. Dangerous to walk on. No one addressed the icy parking lot at least from last night at 11 pm until 10 am this morning. Front desk was made aware at check-in and he said “there is nothing I can do about it, they know, but nothing has been done.” Front desk at check-out said, “I will have maintenance put salt on it. “ An apology would have been nice.

I chose this motel specifically because it had an outdoor pool. When we checked in, they did not tell us that the outdoor pool was out of service because the pump had died and it was full of algae. It ruined my time there.

For 155.00 a night, I expected more. Found out there's a soccer tournament here this weekend, hence the price gouging 🙄. Breakfast was cold cereal, breads and bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs. They had waffle makers, but no batter. No syrup. No eggs,bacon or sausage. Hot water was empty so was one coffee dispenser. Had to ask for additional pillows and no toiletries were provided. Pool was nice, however, they allow non guests to swim in it and never question them. We witnessed 4 people come into the pool that weren't guests bring glass beer bottles (guests weren't allowed ) while the rest of us were paying for the privelage. Older lady at the desk says this happens all the time and they dont say anything to them. That's wrong. Will only stay here again if I have no choice.

From the check-in to the room… I DO NOT RECOMMEND! This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. The room was still dirty. Rags on the counter, stained and holed linens. The shower/tub combo was unusable to to it’s degraded quality of the failing apart tub and the MOLD growing everywhere

The only good things were the bed (comfortable) and the breakfast. The bedspread and shower curtain were filthy. On arrival, the main lobby bathroom had feces on the toilet. When we brought it to their attention, we were told someone will clean it tomorrow

The staff was unresponsive, bed was horrible, the A/C didn’t work properly, the Phone didn’t function, the two elevators only one worked, the food was minimal and cold. We had to request information on how to turn the TV on (light switch by door entry). The hotel room was moldy and dirty, the bed cover had blood stains on it. We were not offered a receipt upon check out. I’ve traveled eye led the world, this by far was the worst. I would give zero stars if possible. I’m not sure if this event was just us (one time event) or this is how it is always. I’d hope this just an off season situation.

The people were nice and tried to help but didn’t do a very good job cleaning. Our first room they gave us had not been cleaned at all. The beds were still messed up and dirty towels in the bathroom, floor had coffee or pop spilled all over etc… the 2nd room they gave us the floors were very dirty. They came up and mopped around the toilet where someone had pee splatter on the floor but the carpet had not been vacuumed and had multiple dirty spots that needed spot cleaned. I walked in my bare feet through the room and the bottom of my feet turned black. I had to wash my feet before I could put shoes on. The Kleenex box was empty, the shower curtain was moldy. It was overall not a clean place.

The Wi-Fi was absolutely terrible. The only place that I could pick up Wi-Fi was in the bathroom in my room. Pillows were so small I needed for just to make up the size of a normal pillow. The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke despite being non-smoking, and I heard a dog consistently barking throughout my stay.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom light was very dim. The bathroom in general needs an update. The tub was old and dingy. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The towel bar in the bathroom was evidently moved and the wall where is it was not patched. It was very difficult to hear the tv even through we had the volume all the way up.

Elevator is in bad shape, poor lighting in the room including bathrooms. The air conditioning goes back to 72 deg sometime in the night irrespective if we set the temp to 67 or 68. It becomes really hot.

The walls seemed paper-thin (I could hear the guest in the next room having a conversation, and he didn't even seem to be speaking loudly.) There was no coffee machine in the room, no lamp on the desk, and there was a corner of the room was showed a bit of moisture mold. If you can't find the thermostat, look behind the TV.

We had a service dog with us.. not only did they ask for a pet fee, but also argued about seeing her documentation. Stated that it was management that required it. Outlets didn’t work in some areas, bathroom was dirty. Staff was not friendly

Our stay was ok. Check in was alot longer than we would have liked. In the middle of checking in the attendant took a phone call that was at least 10 minutes so we were standing there waiting. Terri at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice! The room was big and clean. Stores we needed were a short drive away. Restaurants and fast food were either walking distance or a short drive. The room phones didn't work but she said they were getting that fixed. The pool was a little dirty. It looked like things from the road blowing in.

Not too far from the interstate which makes it pretty convenient. Right next to Mercyhurst University, which is why I chose it. Plenty of parking space. As soon as I came in, the front desk staff was there and ready to check me in. Check in process was smooth. Place is clean.

Good location; nice pool with 3 restaurants within walking distance for dinner; close to Erie beaches; the zoo and golf just 5 minute drive. And only a couple minutes away from the casino. Will stay here again.

Check in was smooth and effortless. The lady at the desk was warm welcoming and friendly. She also managed the morning breakfast stations and she was friendly to the guests. Breakfast was two waffle machines. The line was rather long on the weekends as they only have x2 waffle machines. Packaged oatmeal to mix with water. Single packaged muffins that was tasty. Fresh fruits : apples , bananas , oranges. Low-fat yogurt or hard boiled eggs. Coffee that was fresh and tasty. Variety of fruit juices. Bagels and toast. The breakfast was free and the reason for our stay, it was Al a carte. Cleanliness : foyer was inviting and clean. Hotel was remodeled. First floor was the best. Guests enjoyed the outside pool. We were on the 2 nd floor that at times had a water mildew smell . Elevators were dated. Inspection date was not specified. Tub in our room had rust and water stains and held water and didn’t drain properly. Linen was fairly clean. They offer room service : we didn’t use , menu looked like a local pizza shop and was plentiful. Overall due to the tub issues we would not stay again as I considered better quality with the tub as in considered this unsanitary…

Pleasant stay good size room breakfast was phenomenal!! Dual waffle iron was the best. All the fixins. Breads were individually wrapped. Muffins. Oatmeal. Great place for the small amount we paid!!

For 155.00 a night, I expected more. Found out there's a soccer tournament here this weekend, hence the price gouging 🙄. Breakfast was cold cereal, breads and bagels, yogurt, boiled eggs. They had waffle makers, but no batter. No syrup. No eggs,bacon or sausage. Hot water was empty so was one coffee dispenser. Had to ask for additional pillows and no toiletries were provided. Pool was nice, however, they allow non guests to swim in it and never question them. We witnessed 4 people come into the pool that weren't guests bring glass beer bottles (guests weren't allowed ) while the rest of us were paying for the privelage. Older lady at the desk says this happens all the time and they dont say anything to them. That's wrong. Will only stay here again if I have no choice.

My wife and I have been to a lot of places and stayed at many different hotels. This hotel is a Clarion Pointe property of Choice Hotels. It's a chain hotel, run according to a chain's playbook. So imagine my surprise when I read a number of negative recent reviews telling me in no uncertain terms that this was a terrible place. I came and stayed in late September 2026. According to the Choice Hotels website website, this is what this hotel chain is supposed to be about: Experience contemporary design touches, on-demand connectivity, modern fitness essentials and curated food and beverage options—from a complimentary better-for-you breakfast to premium beverages for purchase at our marketplace. This is exactly what it is. The room was spotless, the bathroom was not super high-grade but was also spotless. The room had been recently renovated. I couldn't see a single reason for all the negativity. It's a Clarion Pointe hotel. It isn't the Radisson. It isn't a fleabag, or even an economy motel option. It's not a place you'll be ashamed to take your wife or family member or work contractor or church group or kid's hockey team to. The staff, especially Sam and Bill at the front desk, is very good at what they do, and always ready to help. There's plenty of peace and quiet. It's clean. It's in an accessible location, Bottom line: this was a nice hotel and I'd stay here again if I come back to Erie.

The staff was super helpful and the breakfast was good to have each day. The only reason I wasn’t 100% happy was the tub in my room drained very slowly. Which means you’re standing in your own dirty water as you’re taking a shower, which is one of my biggest pet peeves in the whole world. Otherwise, clean and safe property with several options for food nearby and a short drive to the airport.
