It worked out perfect for us. It’s secluded enough that if my dog barked, he did not disturb anybody. There’s a hiking path right next to the side so I could take my dogs for a nice long walk. Even though it was secluded, it was close enough to any place around. Shopping was only nine minutes away. Downtown Charlottesville was just a very short ride.

We had a great time staying at Pine Grove Cottage and Keith was a fantastic host! He was extremely accommodating and very responsive through the app. The house was perfect and had everything we needed, including croquet for the kids and plenty of firewood for the fire pit. We did some antique shopping and walked the trail down to the creek. Definitely worth the visit and would love to stay again.

Woodsy property in a neighborhood. Very close to Charlottesville. We loved grillling and s’mores by the firepit, & playing in the yard and with the board games. Very comfortable for two pairs of adults and a pair of children.

Well-maintained property, rural, and quiet neighborhood with lots of lawn for our dog to run and a trail to walk. House had everything we needed for a nice stay and was close to a venue we were visiting in the area. Owner was very responsive when texted. Nice patio and BBQ area a plus.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! When we first arrived and the door code didn’t work, the property owner was quick to return my call and get us in! My dogs also loved running around in the yard and sniffing in the woods!

The property was very scenic, and we really enjoyed taking our dogs for a walk in the woods. Home was beautifully furnished and cozy.Homeowner promptly responded to our message when the electricity went out in the area (obviously no fault of their own) and quickly let us know when it was restored.Would stay here again!

Nice place, good location away from the busy C’ville. But close enough for a short drive to UVA, lots of wineries and Monticello. Beds are very comfortable, and plenty of pillows. TV has plenty of channels. Kitchen well stocked and nice layout. Nice outdoor fire pit with wood provided. Private neighborhood.

We spent a weekend here during a baseball tourney based at UVA. We had our two dogs with us and the property was great with yard space for the dogs to play (not fenced). It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Only thing we noticed was some fireworks one evening perhaps set off at community center just around the corner. But otherwise it was quiet and you don't really see or hear neighbors. House had everything we needed and was clean. We enjoyed our weekend here. Thank you!

Owner communicated with me on VRBO messaging until I told him about the "pee" stains on the mattress pad and some mouse poop in the bed! Luckily there were clean sheets left in the dryer, with a bunch of towels I folded. Not their fault, but ticks were awful this time of year. We only stayed one night and did not hear a thing from the manager when we told him these things. Worst VRBO I have ever been to. Trailer park just down the lane and a large dumpster right across the road in the front yard too

I stayed at this VRBO because of the proximity to my son who I was visiting. It was easy to get to, clean, quiet, comfortable, and I felt safe. It suited my needs perfectly. And it was close to multiple restaurant options in Zion Crossing. I would stay here again on future trips.

I don’t believe the house was cleaned recently. The house was literally covered in bugs, you couldn’t get in the front door without bugs all over the door. They would find their way inside as well, crawling all on the walls and floor. Every room had cobwebs and spiders in them. The blanket on the main bedroom bed had dried up blood on it and there were stains all on the floor and chair in the living room. There was some sort of dried up vomit on the bedroom floor at the doorway. The bathroom smelled of mildew and shower not cleaned. The house provided a place to sleep and the bare minimum of what we needed but it definitely needs cleaned and exterminated. The backyard was great.

We loved our two week stay! The bed was comfy and the entire house had a cozy feel to it. The kitchen was well stocked. Our grandsons spent one night with us and they loved the bunk beds. We loved the location because it was only a couple of miles from our son’s house.

Good parking, excellent wifi, yard great for pups or families. Close to Cville and Zion Crossroads and Pleasant Grove Park for great long walks. AC is in room, worked well, but loud. Washer dryer great! Front door did not lock. Mattresses were hard on our senior frames.

We passed through the Charlottesville area and stayed for one night. The house was comfortable for my family of 5 for a short stay. If it had been for longer, it would have probably been a little cramped. Also, it wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but I didn’t realize- the house does not have central air, just window units. They cool adequately and make it comfortable. Just an fyi for people who may have small children who may have their sleep disrupted by a louder window unit Clicking off and on. The hosts responded quickly to our questions and concerns.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights and this time. The mattresses are terrible. They feel like just a piece of foam, that you sink into. We could not sleep in the master bedroom. We actually slept on the bunkbeds.

The property was clean and quiet! Great to stay at while in town for the triathlon. The main bedroom was extremely comfortable but the sleeper sofa should not ever be slept on - extremely painful. Would recommend upgrading that bed.

Cute little house, comfortable with character. It rained so we did not use the back porch fire pit area. Had a problem with the furnace, but the owner replied back and we were brought electric heaters (the furnace needed more repairs than could be done in a short period of time.) The only drawback was the view across the road. The neighborhood does not have curbside garbage pick up, so there was a dumpster across the street. Overall, it was a nice little house and I would stay there again.

I stayed at this VRBO because of the proximity to my son who I was visiting. It was easy to get to, clean, quiet, comfortable, and I felt safe. It suited my needs perfectly. And it was close to multiple restaurant options in Zion Crossing. I would stay here again on future trips.

Cute and quiet little house. The beds were super comfy. Not far at all from Monticello & Carter Mountain. We enjoyed our short stay.

Nice place, good location away from the busy C’ville. But close enough for a short drive to UVA, lots of wineries and Monticello. Beds are very comfortable, and plenty of pillows. TV has plenty of channels. Kitchen well stocked and nice layout. Nice outdoor fire pit with wood provided. Private neighborhood.

Property was as pictured, had a very nice outside area. Only complaints would be mattress in main bedroom very low and very soft and screen door was ripped on the front door so we could not have the door open.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely fantastic and incredibly convenient. A huge bonus for us was the outdoor space, which was perfect for our dogs to run around and play. Highly recommend!
