Our family travels to the area several times a year. We have rented a number of properties. This is by far our favorite. The views were amazing and the amenities top notch. We could have stayed at the cabin, not ventured out at all, and had an amazing trip. The pool was perfect. We have rented several cabins with indoor pools and none of them come close to this one. The view, the temperature, the cleanliness… We hope to go back soon. Worth every penny.

The view is stunning, and the climb up the mountain is steep! This property had everything we could possibly need, and was the perfect getaway for the family. 5G connectivity via a fixed wireless dish on the balcony is a huge bonus for this area! Property is exactly as shown per the site and the owner/manager is extremely responsive and well organized. The welcome email has every detail you could think of as well as what to find in the area. Pool was very comfortable on arrival which was important for the kids, sauna and hot tub both worked, and everything is very well marked. Electronic door lock for pool room is another huge relief for parents. Really enjoyed our stay, and the property was wonderful to come back to after long days of hiking and family fun.

Our family really enjoyed the private pool (with TV!) and hot tub! The view was gorgeous too! My son loved having his own room on the lower floor. The master bedroom was beautiful. My daughter had her pick of 3 couches! There was plenty of room. The deck was the best spot to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed. Not far from 3 great areas of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Townsend. Will be back!

This was an amazing property with perfect views and everything the kids need to stay occupied. The pool was the perfect size and the sauna was amazing! I loved that the water area had a separate lock so our little kids couldn't wonder in without us knowing. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room kept us busy. And the location was perfect, with very nice views of the mountains. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Its about a 15-20 minute drive into Pigeon Forge, which is close, but far enough away that you're not the among all that loud traffic and tourist attractions. Very quiet and quaint atmophere out there and we definitely recommend!

Great location! Cabin was clean and it had a spectacular view!!! Owner was very nice and stayed in touch and answered any questions we had. I liked that everything was labeled in the house. The only thing Is I didn't like the Layout of the game room, it was in the pool area. My little ones kept wanting to go downstairs to the game room and I had to be with them every single time since the pool was right there. They are 6 & 4. So it took away from my relaxing time but good thing the pool is only 4ft deep 😀. This cabin has all the amenities! We had a blast! 🥰

We loved our stay here. We were close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to enjoy the activity and entertainment, but it was nice to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet in the cabin. The views from the deck were stunning, and we loved having the indoor pool. My kids wanted to swim all day, and I felt comfortable knowing there was an alarm having small children. The property was clean and check in was easy. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We splurged & rented this property over New Year's. Overall the place was clean but there seemed to be lots of dog kibble throughout (I'm assuming the vacuum didn't pick it up?) and hair on the floor of multiple rooms. The master carpet had what looked like pee stain (notified owner right away & she said she'd have carpet cleaned when we left). The showers were very clean and felt brand new inside! The highlights were the heated indoor pool (even my husband went in and he NEVER does)! The sauna and hot tub were also bonuses. The kids were super excited about the game room however one controller was missing. I notified the owner & she ordered one but it didn't arrive in time so the kids were bummed that they couldn't play with each other. As noted, the roads leading there were windy and steep but after a day we got the hang of it. The views were gorgeous! There were a few cabins very nearby but we didn't really interact with anyone except we screamed HAPPY NEW YEAR back and forth at midnight which was fun. The skies were cloudy except for the last night and we were able to see some of the most gorgeous starry filled evening skies. It was awesome. The kitchen was stocked with crock pot, toaster, blender and griddle and there were lots of grocery options nearby (Dollar General was within five minutes and Kroger & Publix about 20 mins so we stocked up and ate most breakfast and lunches inthe cabin.) Pigeon Forge was close with loads of fun touristy options. Hiking was close, too.

The location of this property was amazing - beautiful views with lots of outdoor space. The owners were extremely responsive and friendly. The space was very clean and well stocked. The sauna, pool and hot tub were amazing additions after hiking days. The only thing that was unexpected was that I thought there were 3 bedrooms and wasn't expecting the additional bedroom to be in the basement.

The host was amazing to communicate with if anything popped up & any questions we had from check in to check out. The only item we didn’t rank a “5” was cleanliness due to the amount of ladybugs which it clearly states in the bio on their VRBO page (it was just that time of year for our visit). Beautiful property with everything we needed for our family of 5 & our dog.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. The mountain was steep and scary to drive on with icy roads but that’s what made the views stunning! The owner was helpful and always available even on Christmas when we ram into an issue. The pool was warm and a neat addition. You will not be disappointed if you chose this cabin. For pet owners the bedroom has nice cushy carpet for the dogs to sleep on as well. This was important to me because our dogs have real beds at home.

Kitchen was well stocked with basics like olive oil and spices. I wasn't missing any of the usual kitchen utensils. Checkin was easy and the hosts were always communicative. Neighbors nearby were quiet and very friendly. We loved the novelty of a pool, the views were beautiful, and overall looked forward to returning to the cabin each day. The house felt so clean and the spacing was wonderful.

My husband kept saying "this one is my favorite" during our stay. Weve stayed in many but its becoming a bit more difficult to find pet friendly cabins with amenities that we like. This cabin is perfect for relaxation. The master bedroom is so grand! We used the pool and sauna everyday. We were on the back deck morning and evening. We will be returning. Thanks for sharing your home with us and our fur baby.

Comfortable & relaxing stay. Location: short drive away from the chaos of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We appreciated being able to escape the hustle & bustle with this private home. The mountain location provides a beautiful view of the mountains. Outdoor space: plenty of parking space. My sons used the space to play with their RC cars while we grilled on the charcoal grill. Deck: outdoor furniture wasn’t overly comfortable but was acceptable & clean. Pool: indoor pool is the highlight of the house according to my kids. They did not want to leave. Perfect size for our family of 4. Beautiful pool & the water was a comfortable temperature. The smooth tile around the pool does get slick. Game room: unique addition. My kids didn’t play as much as I thought they might. Main floor: open floor plan that kept us together as a family. The kitchen was clean/updated. Well stocked with various kitchen appliances/utensils. Only things we could have used but improvised was a vegetable peeler & muffin pan. The couches & chairs are comfortable. Bedroom: the mattress is very comfortable. Large & inviting space. Bathrooms: updated & clean. The property manager was great to work with. All communications were quick & efficient. We highly recommend this home. Perfect private location with amazing view & a pool that you will have to drag your kids out of.
Comfortable & relaxing stay. Location: short drive away from the chaos of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We appreciated being able to escape the hustle & bustle with this private home. The mountain location provides a beautiful view of the mountains. Outdoor space: plenty of parking space. My sons used the space to play with their RC cars while we grilled on the charcoal grill. Deck: outdoor furniture wasn’t overly comfortable but was acceptable & clean. Pool: indoor pool is the highlight of the house according to my kids. They did not want to leave. Perfect size for our family of 4. Beautiful pool & the water was a comfortable temperature. The smooth tile around the pool does get slick. Game room: unique addition. My kids didn’t play as much as I thought they might. Main floor: open floor plan that kept us together as a family. The kitchen was clean/updated. Well stocked with various kitchen appliances/utensils. Only things we could have used but improvised was a vegetable peeler & muffin pan. The couches & chairs are comfortable. Bedroom: the mattress is very comfortable. Large & inviting space. Bathrooms: updated & clean. The property manager was great to work with. All communications were quick & efficient. We highly recommend this home. Perfect private location with amazing view & a pool that you will have to drag your kids out of.

We wanted a very relaxing trip and this house was perfect for that. The house had everything you could want from the beautiful views, indoor pool, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, cable, and very comfortable beds. Additionally the owners were super accessible and responsive.The power went out on the street for a brief moment and the owner kept me upto date as she got updates from the power company. It was nice being able to communicate with the owner directly who prioritized our satisfaction. I'd definitely recommend this house. We'll be back!!

We had a 5 day stay. It was really nice . They have a great set up. Kids loved the pool and game room. Great views. About 30 min from Pigeon Forge. If we could change anything it would def be the master bedroom mattress but besides that everything is really well thought out . We will for sure be back .

Our boys 4 & 6 had a blast with all the activities available in to condo - crayons and coloring books, indoor pool, outdoor hot tube (we turned it down for them) and the game room. We loved this place! Lastly- Ali was SUPER responsive throughout the booking process and followed up on other items immediately.

This was our family’s first time visiting the Great Smoky Mountains and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was very spacious and had everything we needed for a long stay. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. It was a great place to enjoy our time so we didn’t have to spend as much time out and about fighting the crowds. Ali was very responsive and helpful with the few questions we had during our stay.

The host was amazing to communicate with if anything popped up & any questions we had from check in to check out. The only item we didn’t rank a “5” was cleanliness due to the amount of ladybugs which it clearly states in the bio on their VRBO page (it was just that time of year for our visit). Beautiful property with everything we needed for our family of 5 & our dog.

Cabin was clean. The cabin had everything we needed. Private heated pool and sauna were wonderful and relaxing! Was only 20 minutes away from Pigeon Forge. Cell service was great. Propery manager was very helpful and check in/check out was easy. Woild stay there again.

From the very start the owners were in contact with is, answering any questions, checking in through out the stay to see if we needed anything. The Cabin was very clean. My 3 pre-teen and teen boys loved having a pool in the cabin. We could not have asked for a better stay. We will use these owners again for our next trip.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. The mountain was steep and scary to drive on with icy roads but that’s what made the views stunning! The owner was helpful and always available even on Christmas when we ram into an issue. The pool was warm and a neat addition. You will not be disappointed if you chose this cabin. For pet owners the bedroom has nice cushy carpet for the dogs to sleep on as well. This was important to me because our dogs have real beds at home.

Kitchen was well stocked with basics like olive oil and spices. I wasn't missing any of the usual kitchen utensils. Checkin was easy and the hosts were always communicative. Neighbors nearby were quiet and very friendly. We loved the novelty of a pool, the views were beautiful, and overall looked forward to returning to the cabin each day. The house felt so clean and the spacing was wonderful.

This place is awesome! Close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that there is plenty to do. Close to Great Smoky Park National Park. So much to do close by. And just as much at the cabin. Very clean, and the pool room is incredible. Ali was awesome to work with. And the drive up the mountain to the cabin is so fun! Definitely recommend this cabin for your family vacation.

Cabin was great! Loved the amenities and communication was great with the owners. Cabin was a little ways away from town... so nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle... but close enough to enjoy all the PF and G-burg has to offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room kept us busy. And the location was perfect, with very nice views of the mountains. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Its about a 15-20 minute drive into Pigeon Forge, which is close, but far enough away that you're not the among all that loud traffic and tourist attractions. Very quiet and quaint atmophere out there and we definitely recommend!

We had a great experience at Soakin in The Smokys. House was clean, views were amazing. My Kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. The drive up to the house can be a little steep and scary if you are not use to driving up mountains. We arrived at night due to getting behind schedule so we were a little nervous but once you drive up a couple of times you get use to it. Ali was great and checked in on us to make sure we were ok. I would definitely book this home again!

We loved our stay here. We were close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to enjoy the activity and entertainment, but it was nice to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet in the cabin. Our family was very pleased with our stay. The home was beautiful, with all the amenities you could possibly need and then some. We loved the location of the home, it was only a short distance to the park, the grocery store was near by and there was plenty of restaurants to choose from. Gorgeous view, just breathtaking!

The cabin was amazing! Everything was described accurately & was very clean! We had groceries delivered from Krogers which made the experience even better. Our kids loved the private pool!

My wife and I just finished a wonderful, and relaxing stay at "Soakin in the Smokies" (05/28-06/01/2016). Absolutely beautiful, relaxing, fun, enjoyable, and easy in and out. The cabin is exactly as the photos show on their web site and the VRBO site. We used the WAZE App, and it took us straight to the cabin. The cabin has really great views of the mountains and the valley. All the furniture inside and out was nice and comfortable. The king size bed was very nice and comfortable with us sleeping great every night. My wife recently had "jiffy Knee" replacement surgery, so we specifically choose a cabin with a pool to help her range of motion exercises. It along with the hot tub, and sauna were wonderful and very helpful. The arcade was also very nice and everything worked perfectly. All contact before, during, and after was responded to almost immediately by Ali, just wonderful. Everything to Pigeon Forge, from the cabin is 20-35 minutes, Gatlinburg another 15 minutes. Very convenient to everything. If you are wondering about bears, Sunday afternoon about 2:30 PM, as we drove up to the cabin a large black bear meandered out of the woods to check our trash bin and then over to the neighbors' trash bin, into their backyard, and back into the woods. There is absolutely nothing I could complain, or fuss about even if I tried. We loved our long weekend at "Soaking in the Smokies" and you will too! We would definitely stay her again on another trip to the mountains.

The Cabin was so relaxing and perfectly named…Soakin in the Smokies. Everything is clean and uncluttered. We stayed a week and hiked everyday, and came home to work out all the kinks in the pool, hot tub and sauna. They really helped to recover for the next day’s adventure. The Cabin is up there! The drive is surprisingly high, but the views are worth it! Morning and evening views with soft sunsets and clouds settled in the valleys. It was a great stay!
