Great location, a few blocks to Tube, easy and direct route. Quite apt and very nice deep tub! Great restaurants nearby not to mention shopping. Loved the private garden too!

We loved our stay in Tass’s apartment and he was a great host, really responsive to any queries & offered useful recommendations for local restaurants and sights. The apartment itself was ideal for three friends, nice spacious living room and everything we needed in kitchen for a short stay - the location was excellent, just a few minutes from Portobello Road and we enjoyed sitting in the private garden in sunshine!

We had an excellent experience at Tass's place. Though we only stayed two nights, Tass treated us like long-term guests and made the whole experience feel painless. The place itself is very bright and spacious with beautiful Notting Hill views. Great to have laundry and a functioning kitchen to feel at home during your trip, and how nice to have your very own garden! And the location – wow! I couldn't imagine a better one for a rental in London, down a picturesque street steps from Portobello Road and multiple tube stops, plenty of restaurants, etc. If I had to give one piece of constructive feedback I'd say the mattresses could use an update, though they weren't uncomfortable. To be fair, few of the places we stayed in the UK had super comfortable bedding and even in the States we often find it hard to come by comfy beds in vrbos.We stayed at a few different places in and around London on this UK trip and this was a favorite (and I think my 5 year-old daughter and wife would agree). Heartily recommend and thanks again to Tass for making us feel so welcome!

Our family had a wonderful time visiting London while staying in Tass' flat in Notting Hill. The location of his place couldn't be more ideal. The flat is on the 3rd floor (no lift!) and the living room overlooks a lovely garden. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern. The kitchen has pretty much everything you'll need to make meal at home, and there is a dishwasher and laundry machine. The neighborhood is absolutely adorable; the little shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all around you when you step out the door. It is safe, with lots of families walking children to school in the mornings, yet it is vibrant with plenty to do. It is a perfect location to see all the historical spots in London, and is walkable to Kensington Palace and High Street shopping. Tass' and Betty are communicative and very friendly. We highly recommend!

Such a great flat! Excellent location!! Would absolutely stay here again. Check in was easy, place was clean. Owner was friendly and easy to work with and provided ideas for restaurants and transportation that were very helpful. And it was great to be able to do a load of laundry while there! Only cons being it could use a little updating and TLC. It is an old building with old plumbing, small bathroom, no microwave, and the bed seems to swallow you in the center. But worth the small inconveniences to stay in such a great spot!

This Notting Hill location was excellent. We enjoyed the local everything here - people, Portabella street, restaurants, shops, etc. It was was about a 10 minute walk to the tube, which got us everywhere we wanted to go with few changes. Everything else was a 2 min walk from the apartment. To enjoy the Portabella market experience, a Saturday stay is a must - I've seen street markets, but nothing like this one. As for Taz, the owner, he was quick to help with everything, even taxi service (Vemal is amazing). My only complaint with the apartment was it lacked drawer space in one of the rooms. It had a closet large enough to hang clothes and store our luggage, but had to get creative with our other clothing. (The second bedroom has plenty of space for both.) I would certainly stay here again as the location is amazing if you want to "live like a local". PS - the private garden is a must see - quiet, beautiful.

Pros: Location was perfect for getting anywhere in London. Loved the private garden. Swings and slides for the kids. Check in and communicatin was easy.Cons: Mattress in the main bedroom is completely collapsed. Mattress in other bedroom ancient but still able to sleep. Toilet seat broken. Shower head covered in lime scale. Exhaust fan in bathroom was so coated in dust it didnt work. When we arrived all the windows were open, however for safety reasons for our children we needed to shut the windows. The damp smell quickly became apparent. Upon investigation we found a clothes horse with wet towels and bed linen on it inside the apartment. It would take days to dry. Unfortunately the sheets on the bed smelled musty which would be because they were previously hanging on the othes horse in the apartment. I'm sorry but its totally unacceptable to have wet linen and towels hamging in the unit when a guest is staying. The whole apartment is extremely tired and in desperate need of attention that was more evident i think because it didnt feel clean. Overall: great location and layout but broken items and wet linen ruined experience.

Much to see and do in the Portobello Road area and this flat is right around the corner. It is up 3 flights of stairs if that matters to you. Kitchen is well equipped and everything you need for your stay is provided. Great communication and house manager met us for check in.

This apartment is not huge but suited the 4 of us (all adults 65) just perfectly. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed including a dishwasher and washer / dryer. Everything was clean.The location was perfect walking distance to the Portobello markets, underground station, shops, buses restaurants and Kensington gardens. Our host was very easy to communicate with, offering great suggestion on where to go and what to do in the area. You do have to go up a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment but we all managed it easily.We had a fantastic time in a great location. Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

I have always wanted to visit London. My son and I wanted to stay in Notting Hill since it was convenient to so many shops, restaurants, and close to the Tube. The property was clean and whenever we had questions the owner responded immediately.

Très bien situé , rue calme à 2 min de Portobello Road avec café, bakery, restaurent et boutique . Autobus vers le centre ville juste à côté . Desservi par deux lignes de métro. Bel immeuble avec verdure à l’arrière . Aurait besoin d’une couche de peinture pour rafraîchi le tout. Et bord du bain à refaire. Matelas d’une des chambres à changer. Cuisine peu équipé . Plafond haut qui donne de l’espace. Vent en tout temps donc pas besoin de climatisation

We enjoyed the Notting Hill neighborhood and Portobello Street. The private garden is a great place to relax and the flat was clean and a great place to stay. Our only wish might be a microwave oven.

This property is in the perfect location. Lots to see and do in the area. The property was perfect for 2 couples, it was clean and has everything needed to make for a comfortable stay. The host has great communication and was very helpful. The only thing that we could complain about was the main communal stairwell to the flat was quite dirty, if this clean it would make a much better first impression. Other than that, I would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Die Wohnung ist in die Jahre gekommen u. könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Es war jedoch sauber und für 5 Tage, wenn man permanent unterwegs ist, ausreichend. Ruhig gelegen u. schnell an der UBahn.

This place was in a great neighborhood with easy access to the tube, bus lines, cute cafes and restaurants, and great shops. The apartment had everything we needed and offers some wonderful views of the neighborhood and rear garden. We had a wonderful time there!

To be fair, few of the places we stayed in the UK had super comfortable bedding and even in the States we often find it hard to come by comfy beds in vrbos.We stayed at a few different places in and around London on this UK trip and this was a favorite (and I think my 5 year-old daughter and wife would agree). Très bien situé , rue calme à 2 min de Portobello Road avec café, bakery, restaurent et boutique . Autobus vers le centre ville juste à côté . Desservi par deux lignes de métro. Bel immeuble avec verdure à l’arrière . Aurait besoin d’une couche de peinture pour rafraîchi le tout. Et bord du bain à refaire. Matelas d’une des chambres à changer. Cuisine peu équipé . Plafond haut qui donne de l’espace. Vent en tout temps donc pas besoin de climatisation

Such a great flat! Excellent location!! Would absolutely stay here again. Check in was easy, place was clean. Owner was friendly and easy to work with and provided ideas for restaurants and transportation that were very helpful. And it was great to be able to do a load of laundry while there! Only cons being it could use a little updating and TLC. It is an old building with old plumbing, small bathroom, no microwave, and the bed seems to swallow you in the center. But worth the small inconveniences to stay in such a great spot!

This Notting Hill location was excellent. We enjoyed the local everything here - people, Portabella street, restaurants, shops, etc. It was was about a 10 minute walk to the tube, which got us everywhere we wanted to go with few changes. Everything else was a 2 min walk from the apartment. To enjoy the Portabella market experience, a Saturday stay is a must - I've seen street markets, but nothing like this one. As for Taz, the owner, he was quick to help with everything, even taxi service (Vemal is amazing). My only complaint with the apartment was it lacked drawer space in one of the rooms. It had a closet large enough to hang clothes and store our luggage, but had to get creative with our other clothing. (The second bedroom has plenty of space for both.) I would certainly stay here again as the location is amazing if you want to "live like a local". PS - the private garden is a must see - quiet, beautiful.

This apartment is not huge but suited the 4 of us (all adults 65) just perfectly. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed including a dishwasher and washer / dryer. Everything was clean.The location was perfect walking distance to the Portobello markets, underground station, shops, buses restaurants and Kensington gardens. Our host was very easy to communicate with, offering great suggestion on where to go and what to do in the area. You do have to go up a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment but we all managed it easily.We had a fantastic time in a great location. Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Location is excellent -- just 2 blocks from Portobello Road and 1 mile from Notting Hill Tube station. However, it is up 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. It is sparsely furnished and needs some sprucing up, especially its only bathroom.

We loved our stay in Tass’s apartment and he was a great host, really responsive to any queries & offered useful recommendations for local restaurants and sights. The apartment itself was ideal for three friends, nice spacious living room and everything we needed in kitchen for a short stay - the location was excellent, just a few minutes from Portobello Road and we enjoyed sitting in the private garden in sunshine!

We had an excellent experience at Tass's place. Though we only stayed two nights, Tass treated us like long-term guests and made the whole experience feel painless. The place itself is very bright and spacious with beautiful Notting Hill views. Great to have laundry and a functioning kitchen to feel at home during your trip, and how nice to have your very own garden! And the location – wow! I couldn't imagine a better one for a rental in London, down a picturesque street steps from Portobello Road and multiple tube stops, plenty of restaurants, etc. If I had to give one piece of constructive feedback I'd say the mattresses could use an update, though they weren't uncomfortable. I have always wanted to visit London. My son and I wanted to stay in Notting Hill since it was convenient to so many shops, restaurants, and close to the Tube. The property was clean and whenever we had questions the owner responded immediately.

This brightly lighted flat has nearby grocery stores, a book store, a butcher, bakeries, liquor stores, flower stand, and restaurants-- everything one could need. The flat was great. Bedding was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the lounge spacious. We stayed for 5 1/2 weeks and had a grand time. We look forward to returning. Our host Tass was friendly, attentive and responsive.

We absolutely loved our stay here and I can't say enough about how it made our first trip to London so enjoyable. Working with Tass was a pleasure as he was super helpful with information about the apt and the area with clear instructions concerning check-in and checkout ... no issues at all. Tass was remote in NYC, so a gentlemen named Solomon let us in when we got there and helped us get adjusted. Super nice guy. The Notting Hill area is just splendid being convenient to great shops, fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and pubs just minutes away. The Notting Hill Gate Tube station is only 15min walk with bus stops right across the street. This made it super easy to get around London. Loved that both the Tube and Bus are tap to pay. This wonderful apt was such a joy to come back to after a long day around the city or after long day out of the city … which we took to Bath. Look forward to coming back in the future

We had a great stay here! Tass was very responsive and provided recommendations for things to see and do and great places to eat and drink! We arrived before check-in time and were able to drop off our bags while they were finishing up cleaning, which was really helpful. The apartment is in a great location and was perfect for exploring London for a few days.

This place was in a great neighborhood with easy access to the tube, bus lines, cute cafes and restaurants, and great shops. The apartment had everything we needed and offers some wonderful views of the neighborhood and rear garden. We had a wonderful time there!

Our family had a wonderful time visiting London while staying in Tass' flat in Notting Hill. The location of his place couldn't be more ideal. The flat is on the 3rd floor (no lift!) and the living room overlooks a lovely garden. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern. The kitchen has pretty much everything you'll need to make meal at home, and there is a dishwasher and laundry machine. The neighborhood is absolutely adorable; the little shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all around you when you step out the door. It is safe, with lots of families walking children to school in the mornings, yet it is vibrant with plenty to do. It is a perfect location to see all the historical spots in London, and is walkable to Kensington Palace and High Street shopping. Tass' and Betty are communicative and very friendly. We highly recommend!

Great location in nice neighborhood. We were 2 older ladies and felt safe walking in early evening around the neighborhood. Underground and bus services are a 5-10 minute walk for access to all major tourist destinations. Good restaurants pubs and Portobello street market are 5-10 min walk.

A brilliant location with private aces to a beautiful garden. A great apartment if you are looking for an authentic London experience. Only minutes to trains snd bus stops and lots of great shopping and restaurants in easy reach. Not suitable for anyone who can’t manage a few flights of stairs with luggage. The street was beautiful and quiet. The owner quick to respond and very helpful.

Only minutes to trains snd bus stops and lots of great shopping and restaurants in easy reach. Not suitable for anyone who can’t manage a few flights of stairs with luggage. The street was beautiful and quiet. The owner quick to respond and very helpful.

We loved staying here during our visit to London! Tass was a very helpful, responsive, and friendly host and the location was fantastic! Close to so many great places to see, restaurants to enjoy, and easy to get to any main attractions and sights, this is a lovely place to stay!
