This is as lovely quiet hotel (ignore other reviews that mention noise from clubs and bars nearby - they clearly have reviewed the wrong hotel!). The location is slightly out of the main area of Zipolete - but only 1 minute from the beach. The pool area is amazing and the pool lovely. Whilst there is no breakfast of food available they do provide a constant supply of coffee and facilities to make tea. There is a local shop at the entrance and loads of restaurants nearly. Our only comments would be that the room balconies need to be improved - there is no protection apart from a single rail which felt slightly unsafe, no chairs are provided (why not - we just could not understand this - some residents took the pool chairs to use) and the views from the upper rooms are blocked by the overhanging roofs). Oh snd a small fridge in each room would have been nice.

CoCo's is a beautifully designed and situated lodging within steps of the Playa de Amor or just relaxing and cooling off in the crystal clean refreshing saltwater pool. Management and staff are so pleasant, helpful and make you feel welcomed and invited.

This place was fantastic! A little oasis up on a hill. The hotel has a cute beach access path that takes you down to the beach, a really cute pool area, and everything else you could need for a relaxing time.

Staff were wonderful, kept the whole place spotless. We were on the second floor which had the palm leaves which was lovely but this floor did not have air conditioning. The a/c was on the main floor only. Staff gave us a floor fan to use along with the ceiling fan. There was no ocean view but the ocean was 200 feet away and could hear the waves all the time from the hotel. No restaurant onsite but 2 within a block and both were excellent. One opens onto the beach. The pool was wonderful and cool as the days in Zipolite are very hot.

The property is clean and modern. The staff was nice. I have to do a thumbs down on this due to the stairs and lack of AC. There are several stairs to access our room. And there was no AC - how did I miss that one? The room had a genuine thatched roof and small lizards would periodically appear - no big deal to me, but if you are squeamy, maybe to you. Zipolite is one steamy hot place and AC is a must. There was music going all night - I mean all night - not sure from where, but there was a beach party real near the hotel. The room was decorated nice, there was a ceiling fan, but it was small. It was almost too hot and loud to sleep that night, but each of us managed a few hours of shut eye.

La recepción es muy atenta a tu estadía, todo el personal es amable y agradable. Las habitación son cómodas y están nuevas. El lugar es maravilloso, tienes mucho contacto con la naturaleza. En general todo estuvo excelente. Un tema importante es respetar que si las políticas del hotel es aceptar a personas de 14 años en adelante lo respeten. La recepción es muy atenta a tu estadía, todo el personal es amable y agradable. Las habitación son cómodas y están nuevas. El lugar es maravilloso, tienes mucho contacto con la naturaleza. En general todo estuvo excelente. Un tema importante es respetar que si las políticas del hotel es aceptar a personas de 14 años en adelante lo respeten. The property is good in terms of facilities. But our first night we experienced a terrible service, the general manger Agustin, received us and the. He left us because some personal issues and there was nobody else in the property. Later a person arrived that was supposed to guard at night, but he was everything but a guardian, he made some improper comments, like he saw my friend and me sleeping, and then he suggested my male friend that they can share me in a sexual way, also he suggested him not walking with money because was unsafe, like suggesting he was going to robbed him. I felt really insecure, I had to block the balcony door with a table, because I was really scared. The manager told us he was being lay off, and was a lie, he was there again the next day. So if you consider staying here, not recommended for women traveling alone. You will not feel safe.

Wow! I can’t find one mild complaint about this place! They are just perfect and close to the beach, but in the woods behind. It has a jungle feel. I never use the pool at a hotel, especially so close to the beach, but we loved going in the pool after dark. Love this place.

This is as lovely quiet hotel (ignore other reviews that mention noise from clubs and bars nearby - they clearly have reviewed the wrong hotel!). The location is slightly out of the main area of Zipolete - but only 1 minute from the beach. The pool area is amazing and the pool lovely. Whilst there is no breakfast of food available they do provide a constant supply of coffee and facilities to make tea. There is a local shop at the entrance and loads of restaurants nearly. Our only comments would be that the room balconies need to be improved - there is no protection apart from a single rail which felt slightly unsafe, no chairs are provided (why not - we just could not understand this - some residents took the pool chairs to use) and the views from the upper rooms are blocked by the overhanging roofs). Oh snd a small fridge in each room would have been nice.

The property is clean and modern. The staff was nice. I have to do a thumbs down on this due to the stairs and lack of AC. There are several stairs to access our room. And there was no AC - how did I miss that one? The room had a genuine thatched roof and small lizards would periodically appear - no big deal to me, but if you are squeamy, maybe to you. Zipolite is one steamy hot place and AC is a must. There was music going all night - I mean all night - not sure from where, but there was a beach party real near the hotel. The room was decorated nice, there was a ceiling fan, but it was small. It was almost too hot and loud to sleep that night, but each of us managed a few hours of shut eye.

Staff were wonderful, kept the whole place spotless. We were on the second floor which had the palm leaves which was lovely but this floor did not have air conditioning. The a/c was on the main floor only. Staff gave us a floor fan to use along with the ceiling fan. There was no ocean view but the ocean was 200 feet away and could hear the waves all the time from the hotel. No restaurant onsite but 2 within a block and both were excellent. One opens onto the beach. The pool was wonderful and cool as the days in Zipolite are very hot.

Its a nice hotel with a beautiful pool and easy walking access to the beach. If you like camping with insects and mosquitoes this shouldn't be a big issues. I couldn't sleep beacuse I felt something on my arm and it was a cockroach, then at the middle of the night another bug was on my leg. Im afraid of insects and it didn't help that my room didn't have AC. 3 out of 5. Its was not for me.

Gran hotel, me encantó la ubicación, está un poco escondido pero es parte del encanto, con acceso a la playa Zipolite y muy cerca de las escaleras a la playa del amor. Sin duda de mis favoritos.
