the room was cleaned daily,beds made and changed where necessary. The staff were friendly and polite, the only issue with the air conditioning was you could not control it from your room, no matter how we tried we could not regulate to a reasonable temperature, the outside temperatures were if the mid to high 30's the room could be cold at night, however blankets were available in the rooms if required. Lovely friendly cafe at the top of the road, great staff, nice english style breakfeast at very reasonable prices. Great staff same two ladies for the 6 days we were there. Great supermarket across from the cafe, train station 4 minutes walk.

This is a great place to spend a night as it is so close to the train station. The room was ok in size but a little on the small size with two suitcases and two hand luggages. There was a fridge and kettle which was hugely beneficial. The staff were very helpful and nice. One thing I really like is that you can completely block out the light on the window, and you can control whether you have the slats partly open or closed. This means that with a late arrival we could still have a good sleep. Some of the furniture seemed flimsy so we were careful. There was a chemist right next door and there are some cafes and shops nearby.

We stayed here because it was in close proximity to the train station and we had plans for a couple of day trips. It was convenient for that purpose, but a bit of a hike to get to the main Barcelona attractions if that's what you are planning. The hotel was generally clean and the room had a decent shower. However, there was a musty smell in the room that wasn't the most pleasant.
