TV never worked. No toilet paper, soap, nor towels when I arrived. Promised to discount room but never got discount. Next door to a dispensary, so lots of traffic. On a very noisy street. Convenient location to downtown. Has a usable laundry room.

The photos are deceiving. The staff was fine. However, when I opened my rooms I received two kings when I originally reserved 2 queens in each bedroom. I was too tired and couldn't find staff since the lobby closes at 9 pm. The room was clean enough. The parking was very limited. The location was great. This is probably okay for a one night stay but I wouldn't suggest anything longer than that. It needs a huge renovation IMHO.

This is a great place if you are on a vacation and just need a place to sleep for the night and not the amenities of a full service hotel. The rooms definitely had the "landlord special" renovation done to them and the heating unit was loud even when not running, but overall it was very clean and modern. For the price, it exceeded my expectation and even exceeds some of the lower-tier branded hotel chains. There is even more value when you consider the free parking given the expensive and timed meter downtown area. My room had direct access to the rear parking which was very convenient. A passerby told me to watch out because the neighborhood was bad but I felt safe my entire stay, and it was a pretty nice neighborhood and a quick walk to many great restaurants and drinks. I had a great stay here and in Colorado Springs and will return again.

Wanted no star rate but no option but 1 star. Very cheap because really cheap. Bed sheets, blanket, pillows and pillow cases are looking dirty, all stained. Pillows need replacement. Tenants in some room, kept door and windows open while laying in bed and watching TV. Felt unsafe for me and my kids. Ended up not staying in this place and looked for another place. Hopefully the management will refund me. Please remove this place from expedia.

We booked the hotel because of the price. It wasn't too bad, however we did have to bring in our own sheets & pillow shams. The ones on our bed had stains on them and the towels did too. Didn't feel very sanitary. The deposit is higher than other hotels we've stayed at & had to call multiple times to get it back. You definitely get what you pay for here. (Cheap price compared to others, but cleanliness could definitely improve.)

Room had not been cleaned—floor was dirty and the trash can was full of previous occupants’ trash. No towels in the bathroom, and only a used bar of soap stuck to the sink. Bed frames did not appear to be properly assembled. On the plus side, the location was nice and I don’t think it had bed bugs. Would not return.

Don’t really have any complaints about the property! We wasn’t in the room much and did not necessarily need any amenities. The room was clean, and had plastic mattresses protectors on the beds, and the floor was hardwood. When we requested a pick up or more towels, the staff was very friendly. Shower was a little small but it was manageable for the price! It was actually more quite than I expected as well. It is also located so close to the walking strip!

We booked based on higher reviews. This is an older motel that has smaller rooms and bath, shower very small. It has been renovated, nice flooring. Was somewhat disappointed based on reviews. Felt it was in a run down area. Saw people sleeping in entrance to a building boxed in with plywood a block away. Check in people were very nice however.

King bed was comfortable, new floors, bathroom updated EXCEPT the shower. The biggest complaint was the air conditioner. The filter which you could see through the grids was BEYOND dirty and as a result the a/c struggled to pipe in cool air. Change the air filter in room 211. Also, although the toilet appeared new due to the recent renovations, it was not SET properly because there was a thin line of water around the outer edge on the base. Last but not least, there were druggies hanging out around the property-not ON the property as far a I could see, but………. We stayed one night before flying back home so it was okay

Solid standard motel in a great location very close to downtown, shops, bars. Rooms are basic but clean and quiet and the staff is very helpful. Only downside was the wi-fi wasnt the best. Would definitely stay again.

Motel looks rough on the outside. People hanging out in the parking lot, talking loud outside our room. We immediately questioned our decision to stay in this place. Room was clean. Front desk was nice. Motel advertises they have Wi-Fi but they do not and the remote didn’t work so we weren’t able to watch TV. When my wife went to talk to the man at the front desk about it there was no one there. Also the phone number was disconnected so there was no way to get ahold of the front desk. Would definitely spend the extra money to stay some place decent next time but the advertisement on Expedia was misleading.

Check in was nice, fast and easy. The place was clean and we felt safe. However, the air vents need to be cleaned badly. You cannot have the air run at all, because there is a terrible smell coming from the vents. Location is also great, close to the city and the main restaurants and only 8 mins from garden of the gods

I would not have stayed without my husband. The pictures on the site were significantly nicer than the hotel actually is. When we arrived, there were numerous weirdos lurking in the parking lot, you have to be buzzed in and out of the front office and the keys to the door don't work correctly because they are actually keys and bad copies. This hotel is obviously home to many unsavory folks. The balcony overlooks the parking lot full of people smoking and playing loud music. Oh, and there were brown fluids on the outside of the tub and the wall near the door. The person who stayed in the room last must have had a rough night. Positives - beds were comfy. The portable a/c unit (that was in the room replacing the broken one that used to be there) worked well. Also, the shower had really cold water. (I know that sounds like a bad thing but I'm prone to over heating and cold water is a bonus to me!).

The room was ok but after a long drive we arrived late to a closed sign. We were not aware you had to check in by a certain time. While in the parking lot looking for a different place to stay a security guy came up to us and luckily let us check in with a $25 additional late fee. He was kind but as we went to the room, you could hear lots of talking in other rooms and a strong smell of urine, rotting, and drugs. We didn’t feel safe at the property at all.

I booked and paid via expedia. Nevada flats charged to my visa an amount they said Expedia shorted them and they refuse to give anything back to me. So i paid a lot more than the price expedia charged me. Expedia was no help either. Stay here if you want double charged.

We arrived shortly after 9pm. There was no one available to check us in. We called the number posted on the door and no one picked up. I had made the reservation through Orbitz that evening and there was no indication about the 9pm check in deadline on the website. We ended up spending the next two hours looking for a room elsewhere. When I requested a refund for the room we could not access, I was denied.

Rebecca at the front desk is a superstar! Helped me with my reservation error and was very welcoming. Would stay there again if I'm in the Springs. Great value for the location downtown.

For the check-in, disabled and had asked for a ground room floor which they confirmed on a seperate email " Hello this is the Nevada Flats front desk, We were able to get you booked into a 2 bed 1st floor room for your reservation on 2-22-25 to 2-23-25. If you have any questions let us know. Have a great evening! - NF -" , for this hotel, minimum check in time is 4pm, not three pm. showed up and they put us in the 2nd floor, got the feeling this was done on purpose (fun to watch the crippled walk up the stairs? lots of entertainment). got to the room, beds looked like the had been slept in prior with a hair on the sheets matching one on the mirror in the bathroom. . . only commodities, shampoo, lotion and hair clenser, no cups, etc. . . , guy did come up later in the evening stating he could move a bed from our room downstairs and give us a downstairs room (same that stated he might be able to give us a discount too), told him no, has that would have been a huge item. . . big challenge, know one is available for any item basically after 8 in the eveninig, so, the only hours that you can reach the front desk for anything or any item is between the hours of 3pm+ to about 8 in the evening. Concerning the guests, except for a couple of others, most appear to be staying on a voucher system, so, smoking in the room, both cig's and "smoke", outside in the hallways and outside. . . the people in the room one down and accross the hall would let there dog (bigger size) out the doo

Was not able to check in at the advertised time. No one was at the office until 45 minutes after we tried to get a hold of someone using the posted phone numbers. Decided to go stay somewhere else and request for a refund.

We booked based on higher reviews. This is an older motel that has smaller rooms and bath, shower very small. It has been renovated, nice flooring. Was somewhat disappointed based on reviews. Felt it was in a run down area. Saw people sleeping in entrance to a building boxed in with plywood a block away. Check in people were very nice however.

Solid standard motel in a great location very close to downtown, shops, bars. Rooms are basic but clean and quiet and the staff is very helpful. Only downside was the wi-fi wasnt the best. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was nice, fast and easy. The place was clean and we felt safe. However, the air vents need to be cleaned badly. You cannot have the air run at all, because there is a terrible smell coming from the vents. Location is also great, close to the city and the main restaurants and only 8 mins from garden of the gods

I would not have stayed without my husband. The pictures on the site were significantly nicer than the hotel actually is. When we arrived, there were numerous weirdos lurking in the parking lot, you have to be buzzed in and out of the front office and the keys to the door don't work correctly because they are actually keys and bad copies. This hotel is obviously home to many unsavory folks. The balcony overlooks the parking lot full of people smoking and playing loud music. Oh, and there were brown fluids on the outside of the tub and the wall near the door. The person who stayed in the room last must have had a rough night. Positives - beds were comfy. The portable a/c unit (that was in the room replacing the broken one that used to be there) worked well. Also, the shower had really cold water. (I know that sounds like a bad thing but I'm prone to over heating and cold water is a bonus to me!).

Never actually stayed here. Pulling in the parking lot and viewing the surroundings as well as the condition of the exterior was enough for me. Looked unsafe. I took the monetary loss and was happy to get out of there and find a much nicer place.

Don't believe everything that you see! The pictures are very deceiving. I reserved a room with 2 Queen beds and was given a room with double beds, which they told me were queen beds. The place smelled of body odor and bleach. The rooms are tiny and the location is awful. The breakfast that was supplied was a choice of Pop Tarts or a muffin, hardly what you would call a continental breakfast. Plus read the fine print, $200 deposit is required, which I am still making calls to get refunded. Please for the sake of your sanity do not book here!!

Of primary concern would be that there was no phone in the room to connect with the front desk. No one was in the from office so I guess it goes hand in hand. But reviews told us to anticipate eating breakfast. There was nothing served and no place for it to be served. The linens were clean but the bathroom could have used help. And the neighborhood took on an entirely different feeling after dark.

They require a $150 deposit and was not notified until check-in, I already pre-paid for the stay through the website and we only stayed for 1 night. They were supposed to have Breakfast from 7-9am but when we went to the lounge the door was locked at 7:40am. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Extremely disappointing experience. Nevada Flats is advertised as a hotel, but in my opinion, the property felt much more like a motel. Unfortunately, the condition of the property wasn’t even the most concerning part of our experience—it was how we were treated by the staff. We arrived in Colorado Springs to attend the firefighter memorial, and after traveling, we simply wanted to check in and see the room we had booked. The staff member was rude and unwilling to show us the room. What was especially troubling was being told that we were considered “suspect” and then being left standing in the parking lot at night without a room. This was not the kind of welcome or treatment I expected. Regardless of someone’s profession or reason for visiting, no paying guest should be treated as though they are suspicious without a legitimate reason or left outside at night after expecting to have accommodations. Customer service and basic respect go a long way in the hospitality industry. Based on how we were treated, I would not stay at Nevada Flats and cannot recommend it to others.
