A beautiful little property with the best breakfast I have had at a hotel in a long time! The room was spacious, with a great bathroom with a bath, and very pretty view over the grounds. The dining room was beautiful and we wish we had the time ti go to the bar. Only thing we wished was there was a nice walk on or from the property but it is quite small grounds, but it was pretty it was just our oversight.

Lovely Victorian property with really friendly staff and fantastic food in the conservatory resturant. We opted for the seven course taster menu at £85 each and it was worth every penny although i could have done without the calories being listed against each course 😉 Rooms are tastfully furnished and very comfortable. Although the property is very quiet and in beautiful grounds walking is limited as off a busy road. Told there are gorgeous walks five minutes away but need to drive there. The best thing about the hotel is the hard working friendly staff who cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The receptionist was a delight and our waiter was really attentive. We will definitely be booking again.

A well managed hotel which is part of a beautiful country mansion, Friendly and diligent staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms with lots of thoughtful touches, generous tea and coffee supplies, bottle of water, clothes brushes, trouser press and ironing facilities, great for a special event! Peaceful setting in lush gardens. Fab breakfast, wide choice of food and all perfectly cooked.

Check in staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cute children’s pack waiting on the bed. Although we didn’t have dinner reservations, we were able to eat in the bar area. Great breakfast with again, very friendly staff. Cleaners were lovely too. Thanks

This was our first stay at the Audleys Wood Hotel and chose it as we had previously been there for a wedding and were impressed with the beautiful grounds. We booked two classic double rooms, one of which overlooked the gardens, and both were beautifully decorated with relaxing chairs, a desk, comfortable beds, plenty of storage space and lamps. We were happy to have a fridge and large tv in the room. The bathroom was clean, spacious and we had robes and slippers available in the room. The rooms were quiet. The hotel staff were attentive and kind, parking was free and the bar area was lovely and relaxing. We did notice some stains on the furniture and the hotel food was overpriced so we opted to eat out for breakfast and lunch but as there were plenty of dining options a short drive away, this wasn't an issue. The hotel is close to shopping, dining and places of interest. We will return here one day.

Comfortable classic country hotel. The suites are much nicer than the standard rooms. Our room needed maintenance as the ancient windows had issues and were not fully closed. Otherwise, the room was in excellent shape. The bar and restaurant are fun and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

What an absolutely lovely hotel. Set in beautiful grounds the room was spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The facilities in the bathroom were top notch for my disabled wife. Breakfast was a buffet style and excellent quality.

Exactly what I needed for a relaxed evening and best sleep I’ve experienced in a long time. From the incredibly helpful and supportive staff member who checked me in and the lovely gentleman who checked me, and the senior member of staff who helped me move my (excessive for the stay!) luggage from my room to reception ready to load up into the car to the happy, ever helpful and polite restaurant staff at breakfast and the light and airy breakfast room partnered with the outside, tables under sun brollies to guarantee a relaxed start to your day. Its location also guarantees long relaxed walks among the surrounding woodland

The hotel staff were attentive and kind, parking was free and the bar area was lovely and relaxing. We did notice some stains on the furniture and the hotel food was overpriced so we opted to eat out for breakfast and lunch but as there were plenty of dining options a short drive away, this wasn't an issue. The hotel is close to shopping, dining and places of interest. We will return here one day.
This was our first stay at the Audleys Wood Hotel and chose it as we had previously been there for a wedding and were impressed with the beautiful grounds. We booked two classic double rooms, one of which overlooked the gardens, and both were beautifully decorated with relaxing chairs, a desk, comfortable beds, plenty of storage space and lamps. We were happy to have a fridge and large tv in the room. The bathroom was clean, spacious and we had robes and slippers available in the room. The rooms were quiet. Lovely Victorian property with really friendly staff and fantastic food in the conservatory resturant. We opted for the seven course taster menu at £85 each and it was worth every penny although i could have done without the calories being listed against each course 😉 Rooms are tastfully furnished and very comfortable. Although the property is very quiet and in beautiful grounds walking is limited as off a busy road. Told there are gorgeous walks five minutes away but need to drive there. The best thing about the hotel is the hard working friendly staff who cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The receptionist was a delight and our waiter was really attentive. We will definitely be booking again.

Comfortable and spacious rooms with lots of thoughtful touches, generous tea and coffee supplies, bottle of water, clothes brushes, trouser press and ironing facilities, great for a special event! Peaceful setting in lush gardens. Fab breakfast, wide choice of food and all perfectly cooked.

This is a secluded place outside Basinkstoke as part of the "Hand Picked" hotel network. During the Christmas time they welcome guests by offering little perks which shows a high level of care for the guests. The breakfast is solid and done fresh. I imagine that during non pandemic times this hotel is busy and the atmosphere is different. Nevertheless we spent there 5 nights and found them as the most decent option in the area. Other highlights: good beds, superior linen and towels.

We had the most amazing relaxing stay. Our room was lovely with a view of the garden. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant one night of our stay, food was again really good however compared to some of the other handpicked hotels i felt the menu let the hotel down. It wasnt as 'fancy' as ashdown or buxted park but the food quality was still really good. I would defo visit again.

Absolutely amazing stay for our anniversary from the small touches like the happy anniversary plate with a few chocs, the attentive and friendly staff to the delicious food including dinner and breakfast. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room quiet too. The only small downside was the huge markup on wine with dinner but other than that, it was all positive and we’d highly recommend a stay here!

Lots of free car parking. Easy access from motorway. Lovely grounds and building, both inside and out. Nice reception area, plenty of seating, nice well stocked bar with seating, separate lounge eating area and separate restaurant. Excellent bedroom with plenty of tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Water and milk left in fridge. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower (easy to use, good water power and consistent hot water). Very comfy beds/pillows with quality bedding. We didn't book for breakfast but had evening meals both nights in the lounge eating area, service was excellent, had 2x fish and chips and 2x sirloin steaks with beer, water and wine, all the food and drink was excellent. Excellent stay, no faults whatsoever. Note that we stayed during the heatwave but all the rooms remained cool, and also had a fan if needed. We'd both stay here again if in the area.
