Stayed 2 nights

We were 4 adults staying for two nights and had a family room with a sofa bed in one room and a double bed in the other. There was no fridge or minibar. We couldn’t find any kettle either, but that could be borrowed from the reception, which we appreciated. The breakfast was okay. Parking cost €10 per night, and there was an elevator with access to the parking area, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a table tennis table available, and you could borrow rackets from the reception free of charge. The TV in one of the rooms was not working properly; it turned itself off, but we did not mind since we were only staying for two nights. We still mentioned it to the reception. One positive thing was that there was a free coffee machine in the reception area, and guests could enjoy as much coffee as they wanted.

Staff is welcoming and willing to answer questions. Free tea and coffee all day. Acceptable driving distance from Dusseldorf and economical choice. Plenty of food choice within 5 - 10 minutes driving distance too. More limited dining option if it is walking distance. Supermarket nearby open until 22:00 so it is very convenient. Rooms, especially bathroom are spacious and clean. Everything looks new. The only minus is the heater stayed a very high temperature at 24.5 even if I keep trying to lower the room temperature to 18.

The room was great, fresh, lovely shower, clean and spacious. Only thing was that the pillows wasn’t very comfortable, just sunk together and wasn’t really any support for the head. When we arrived the receptionist couldn’t find my payment until about 30 min later, wanted me to pay again eventho I could provide receipt etc from Hotels. After that was sorted I found out I had to pay an extra 10 euro because I had 2 dogs, even though it says ”Pets live for free” when I was booking at Hotels.com. According to the receptionist that only applies to 1 dog, which it doesn’t say anywhere on Hotels. Just the whole checking in took a very long time because of these two things. It was nice to have a parking garage with the hotel, the car felt quite safe there.

Room was ok. Breakfast was chaotic with fod, crockery, cups and glasses running out. Tables weren’t cleaned. Had people walking on a flat roof going in between rooms making a racket during the night.
