It was fine. We bought breaksfast and it was very good. The only thing I didn't like was we were at 4th floor and they don't have elevator working for long tome... my dad count the stairs and there were 91 steps to get the room... with thw big luggage...

The hotel is old but in a good location. Lots of dinning options and close to Charlottenburg train station. But the elevator was down on the second day of our stay and it still hasn’t been fixed when we checked out. My parents had a hard time climbing up the stairs as they have bad knees.

Für zwei Tage zum Schlafen ok. Man wollte uns zunächst das schlechteste Zimmer des ganzen Hotels " andrehen ". Im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Hinterhof. Parksituation katastrophal. Hotel selbst hat nur 9 Parkplätze, die natürlich alle besetzt waren.

Ascenseur en panne depuis longtemps et escalier pentu Forte odeur de tabac à la réception Rideaux trop petits et non occultants dans la chambre cage d’escalier et couloir du 4e étage encombré de planches, sommiers et de lits. L’hôtel n’était pas rempli. On ne comprend pas de ne pas avoir été mis à un étage moins haut et plus présentable, sachant qu’on a payé le prix fort.

Einzelzimmer sehr klein, aus dem Bad kam ein unangenehmer Geruch. Frühstück sehr spärlich und der Kaffee eine Brühe. Parkplatz wird seperat abgerechnet. Dieses Hotel ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist einfach, aber in Ordnung. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Preis ist angemessen. Die Lage sehr zentral. Nachts hat man viel Lärm, wenn man ein Zimmer zur Straße hat. Das Frühstück war klein, aber i.O. Personal freundlich. Auf den Straßen ab Samstag 20 Uhr ist das Parken kostenfrei. Andere Gäste waren Paare oder Familien und rücksichtsvoll. Betten sehr weich! Alles ist etwas schmuddelig, aber noch ok. Handtücher/ Bettwäsche sauber. Bad hat keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zimmer ist relativ groß. Zu wenig Steckdosen und keine in Bettnähe. Zweckmäßige Unterkunft für 1-2 Nächte.

Et godt hotel til prisen. Enkelt, rent og behageligt. Boede øverst mod gården, og det var helt stille. Godt badeværelse med sæbe ved håndvask og i brusekabine. Badeværelset er ikke velegnet for dårligt gående, da der er høj ind/udstigning fra brusekabinen - ikke et stort problem at komme ind så længe gulvet i kabinen er tørt, men ud kan blive et problem. Ingen dikkedarer til værelset, og savnede derfor den lille vandkoger. Morgenmaden var var til prisen ok: Enkel og tilstrækkelig. 24h vagt i receptionen, og ellers har man bare nøglen til sidedøren med ud.

Basic clean and convenient hotel, room was nice and quite close to transport links, didn’t try the breakfast but it looked ok for the 10 euros quoted . We would definitely stay there again

Room had seen better days and it was not too clean. TBH you can get so much nicer room from Berlin for this price. Location was fine, since the hotel is so close to train station and metro.

As a 3 star hotel id expect at leaast a kettle or a fridge not a squat. Had the same dead critters on the floor after 3 days of cleaner's pillow smelt of odour transferred to me. If thrres a fire forget it dont staybfor that price

Vores værelse lugtede forfærdeligt at kloak under hele opholdet. Vi måtte lukke døren til badeværelset og holde vejret når vi skulle derud. Der blev ikke rigtigt gjort rent. Beliggenheden var dog helt super, tæt på transport muligheder. Men virkelig ulækkert værelse

2 Nächte für 2 Einzelzimmer Preis 740 Euro und dann haben wir am Abreisetag die Info erhalten das man für das Frühstück nochmals 19 Euro extra bezahlen muss. Würde ich so zu diesem Preis nicht mehr buchen.

Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert.Wir haben ein sauberes Zimmer vorgefunden. Die Heizung schaffte es nicht den Raum zu erwärmen.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was, for the price. Three easy-to-get-to electrical sockets in my small room; I've been in rooms that only have one. Linens changed every day. Commendably decent water pressure. Breakfast offered. Comfy bed. Really perfect spot for all the transit Berlin has to offer; nothing is more than a block away. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Only slight downside was internet; my room was at the back of the hotel and it was spotty (in the front of the hotel at the lobby it was great). A room more towards the front will likely not have this problem. Only one channel on the TV, in German, but that honestly wasn't an issue.

I stayed for 3 nights from 10-13 June paying $434 in total. I was there for business. Communication prior to arrival and check-in was smooth and easy - staff friendly. The room (#36) was large with high ceiling and four beds (I was one person). Room was clean but bathroom smelled like urine upon arrival (and throughout stay). There was no comfortable chair to sit and relax in nor any water kettle/cups to make a cup of tea. There was a tiny TV with 7 local German channels. The internet was quite unreliable - it came and went. In short not a place I can recommend to stay for a business trip and only good value for money if you stay as a family.

In diesem Hotel fühlte ich mich nicht Willkommen. Die Mitarbeiter sprachen kaum ein Wort mit Ihren Gästen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, ich würde sie stören. Zur Einrichtung würde ich sagen: Ganz schön runter gekommen und verbraucht. Der Fahrstuhl war defekt, so das ich 5 Tage lange 2x am Tag in die 5 Etage Treppen steigen musste. Auch die Umgebung des Hotels war fragwürdig. Das Frühstück war so sparsam und bedeutend weniger als Standard. Das Hotel würde ich niemandem empfehlen. Habe fast 130€ pro Nacht bezahlt. Sowas braucht kein Mensch. Absolut entäuschend.

El personal del hotel pese a dirigirnos a ellos de manera educada y en alemán mostraron siempre una total indiferencia y no nos ayudaron en NADA. Todo lo que le consultamos nos dieron cualquier respuesta que no nos servía de nada. Muestro mi indignación como turista en nombre de mi familia.

Vi havde booket deres studio lejlighed, som er en et værelses med køkken og bad/toilet. Det var ikke luksus, men et sted at sove. Bilen blev parkeret på deres aflåste p-plads. Der var fin gå afstand til zoo og kurfürtendamm.

2 Nächte für 2 Einzelzimmer Preis 740 Euro und dann haben wir am Abreisetag die Info erhalten das man für das Frühstück nochmals 19 Euro extra bezahlen muss. Würde ich so zu diesem Preis nicht mehr buchen.

Das Frühstück war klein, aber i.O. Personal freundlich. Auf den Straßen ab Samstag 20 Uhr ist das Parken kostenfrei. Andere Gäste waren Paare oder Familien und rücksichtsvoll. Betten sehr weich! Alles ist etwas schmuddelig, aber noch ok. Handtücher/ Bettwäsche sauber. Bad hat keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zimmer ist relativ groß. Zu wenig Steckdosen und keine in Bettnähe. Zweckmäßige Unterkunft für 1-2 Nächte.

Et godt hotel til prisen. Enkelt, rent og behageligt. Boede øverst mod gården, og det var helt stille. Godt badeværelse med sæbe ved håndvask og i brusekabine. Badeværelset er ikke velegnet for dårligt gående, da der er høj ind/udstigning fra brusekabinen - ikke et stort problem at komme ind så længe gulvet i kabinen er tørt, men ud kan blive et problem. Ingen dikkedarer til værelset, og savnede derfor den lille vandkoger. Morgenmaden var var til prisen ok: Enkel og tilstrækkelig. 24h vagt i receptionen, og ellers har man bare nøglen til sidedøren med ud.

It was fine. We bought breaksfast and it was very good. The only thing I didn't like was we were at 4th floor and they don't have elevator working for long tome... my dad count the stairs and there were 91 steps to get the room... with thw big luggage...

We thought the hotel was just perfect for a budget conscious couple. Staying in the centre of Berlin can be very expensive, but Hotel Spreewitz was very reasonably priced and just minutes away from S-Bahn and U-Bahn. This makes it very quick and easy to get to all the famous tourist spots. Staff were helpful and friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was good and plentiful and most importantly, the room was clean. Cheap and cheerful, yes, but well recommended.

Don’t get me wrong, despite the three star review I would stay there again. The room (double) was large and light. The location was excellent, LOTS of shops, restaurants and public transport within seconds of the hotel. Noise was ok, it’s on a main road so you get traffic and people noise - for me that was part of the charm. I was on the top floor so the view was really cool and despite the weather being very warm, the room felt fine. The reason for the low stars is twofold. 1. The staff were the unfriendliest I’ve come across in a hotel. I didn’t have any problems, but I suspect of I had, they would have rolled their eyes and definitely not apologised. 2. The building has the quaint 1980s German “functional quality rather than recently updated” vibe. Now I quite like this, but I can imagine some people finding it dirty and old looking. So just be aware of your personal taste.
